I had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Grand Seattle. Seattle is my favorite city in the country and the stunning views from my room made my visit 5 stars. Not pictured but the breakfast buffet is phenomenal with so many drink options. I appreciated the Starbucks coffee machines and the cute little 2% milk cartons. This hotel is located perfectly in downtown Seattle, close to many shops and restaurants and the train station. I would love to stay here again next time I'm in the city!

The Sheraton Grand Seattle has quickly become one of my favorite hotels to stay at during a layover. The hotel itself is beautiful, my room was spacious and comfortable, and I really appreciated being able to access my streaming apps directly on the television. That little convenience makes such a difference when you're trying to relax between trips. The gym was honestly one of my favorite parts of the hotel. It was phenomenal and, surprisingly, had a StairMaster! I'm not used to seeing a good StairMaster in hotel gyms, so having one available made getting my workout in so much more fun. The equipment and overall setup made it easy to get a solid workout without having to leave the hotel. I also really enjoyed the onsite restaurant. Between the comfortable room, great gym, dining options, and little conveniences like streaming access, this is definitely a hotel I look forward to staying at whenever I have a Seattle layover.

Stayed at the Sheraton for two nights and I was impressed with the room and customer service. From the valet to the waitress in the hotel restaurant, everyone was exceptionally helpful and nice. They went out of their way to help us with a special request and I was so grateful. Our room was spacious with two double beds, an ottoman, and a table where we had room service one morning. We felt we each had enough space without being on top of each other. The room was very quiet, too. One of the things I got a kick out of was the "snack room." It's a little room off the lobby full of chips, candy, crackers, popcorn, etc. that you can take and you write your name and the snacks you grabbed on a piece of paper and they charge your room. I would most definitely stay at this Sheraton or any other again.

We were able to use our annual free hotel night (Marriott credit card) to book our room. Upon arrival/ check in there was a spiraling line for the ginger bread village; one of the main reasons we came here. Since we got a room here we came back to the gingerbread village around 10:30pm when there is NO LINE so we can really take our sweet time looking! The hotel was full of Christmas decorations and just felt so welcoming in the lobby area; many chairs and couches to be comfy on. Highly recommend getting the "club access" where you get to go in this lounge room to relax with unlimited cold drinks, snacks and fresh coffee/ hot cocoa. A glass panels separates the gym and pool so you can work out while looking at you friends swim/ vice versa. The location of the hotel is great, just a few minute walks from Nordstrom, Westlake mall, game works, etc! You won't need your car Only VALET parking is offered for the hotel, so we parked at a nearby garage (2-3 min walk) that was around $25 for 24 hours instead of the valet/ tipping price We didn't book a special view room but it was still a beautiful view of all the tall buildings, our kids just sat at the window sill admiring the view for a long time- no iPad, no games, just pure joy of enjoying the moment This might be our annual tradition to come during the gingerbread village popup to celebrate the festivities

9/15/2025 - This hotel situated at the heart of downtown Seattle is one of the only three Sheraton Grand hotels in the U.S., which has 35 floors with 1,236 guestrooms. The large lobby is impressive, most likely, the best lobby in the downtown Seattle, and its prime location can bring you to the Space Needle via a ride in just 3 or 4 minutes after walking from the hotel to the Westlake Station in 4 minutes only. The services are excellent at the lounge. Dominik, who is very friendly, checked me in - Thank you. The bed and its cover and bed sheets are high quality, which resulted a very comfortable & good sleep last night. The heated full-size indoor swimming pool is at the 35th floor, but the SPA (Whirlpool) on the 36th floor was gone long times ago due to a water leaking issue many times (sad). The Sheraton Club at the 32nd floor with a 180° panoramic view, where I saw the Discovery Princess was sailing from the Port of Seattle Cruise Terminal 91 to Alaska yesterday late afternoon, has a unisex bathroom for guests' convenience, I think, it might be the BEST among any Marriott signature M Club Lounge in the U.S. Tip: If you look for a luxury stay in Seattle, you may consider to stay at this hotel opened in 1982 as long as the hotel continuously improves its ambience and guestrooms, which often beats many new Marriott brands hotels due to many cost cutting techniques, e.g., the guestroom I stayed here might beat the same kind of guestroom at the JW Marriott Anaheim, CA without any questions (another example, an Indoor heated full-size swimming pool here vs. an outdoor 8 ft by 22 ft pool, etc.) Final thought: Marriott purchased Starwood at $13.6 billion in September, 2016, which immediately boost Marriott Brand name worldwide - my experience here at staying a guesstoom, the Sheraton Club Lounge access, a heated indoor swimming pool, impressive large lobby and prime location (e.g., walking from the hotel to the Westlake Station for riding a Link Light Rail to/from Sea/Tac International Airport only takes 3 minutes with a $3 one-way ticket or $1 for seniors) truly shows this hotel beats most of Marriott namesake hotels in the U.S. because you can't find 5 items referenced above in the U.S. easily, or all-in-one!

I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Seattle for 8 days on a work trip and had a positive experience. It is centrally located, so it is an easy walk to Pikes Place Market, the Convention Center, and the monorail that takes you down to the Space Needle. My room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable (except for the sheets which always got bunched up since they don't use fitted sheets). Housekeeping was hit or miss. I was always out of my room before 9:00 am, but they did not always show up. On days when they did show, they did not always replace things like towels and toilet paper, which was frustrating. The front desk staff were wonderful and eager to help. There is a Starbucks in the lobby which is also staffed with really kind baristas. Security and the valet staff were also really great. My biggest issue with this hotel is that everything is SO loud! I was in a room near the ice maker and I could hear the ice crashing out of the machine all night long. I could also hear my neighbors talking like they were standing in the room with me. This was really disturbing when I was trying to sleep. For the cost of the rooms, I will say I was expecting more soundproofing. The rooms are nicely updated with lots of outlets/USB plugs, plenty of storage, and large televisions (although mine didn't work). It was an overall comfortable and convenient stay.

Quiet rooms conveniently located in Seattle. Front desk staff was very friendly! My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I loved the location for its proximity to so many Seattle attractions! Highly recommend! Happy travels!

Check in was pretty smooth and friendly. The hotel is located about 8 minutes walking distance from Pike Place Market. Also, this location is proximal to several restaurants and shops which are walkable and very convenient. There is a $28 resort fee charge but you are allowed $28 to use in a couple of the restaurants on the property. There is also a $10 coupon applied for each day of stay but it is contingent on you notifying the front desk before noon, that you may be using uber services later in the day. Our suite was super spacious with 2 bathrooms, 2 closets, a kitchen nook with a fridge, sink, and microwave, a dining table that seats four, a sofa that unfolds into a bed, and a roomy bedroom with a comfy king sized bed. The M club is well stocked with snack staples and a hors d'oeuvres/happy hour from 5p to 8p where there are two to three complimentary appetizers offered with an optional paid cocktail service. There are two full service restaurants on the location, Alder and Ash and Vivienne's Bistro. I did not try either, but I plan on staying here when I visit Seattle next so I will try both next time. I would highly recommend if traveling with a small family or a group of friends.

Another work retreat, this time at the Grand Sheraton Seattle--and it was a great choice. The hotel is huge with a modern lobby, big ballroom, onsite Starbucks, a couple of restaurants, and a solid gym. My king room on the 17th floor had a microwave (saved me about $75 on leftovers!) and super comfy beds. The views were amazing thanks to its spot on 6th Ave up the hill. Only downside was the complimentary internet, which was pretty weak. Other than that, no complaints--I'd definitely stay here again.

I had a great day at this hotel during a recent convention held at the Seattle convention center that is literally a block away from the hotel. You can choose to walk outside or you can also cut through the hotels restaurant for a quicker exit to the convention center in the event of bad weather the beds were very comfortable, the water pressure was great which I also appreciate and the service was top-notch. I was a little bit, disappointed with the breakfast room, and the variety of options provided both at breakfast and the lack of snacks during other times during the day. I'm very used to these types of rooms, providing amenities like chips and other items throughout the day in addition to drinks and hot coffee, but all in all it was a good stay, and I will return just given the great proximity to Pikes market, restaurants, and other areas for sightseeing

This hotel is in the heart of the city. It is easy to get to any of the popular sites. The rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. There is a daily $20 food credit which you can use at the Starbucks or hotel restaurant. We would stay here again if we return to Seattle.

Stayed here for a conference down the block at the Seattle convention center. Conveniently located a few blocks down from Pike place and the light rail station. The staff was hospitable, the room was spacious and the bed was comfy. Can't ask for more! Access to the lounge offered daily continental breakfast, a fancy Starbucks coffee machine and snacks on the weekends. On the weekdays there's a nicer breakfast and hors d'oeuvres in the evenings.

There's only a small area for parking in front of the hotel and it's also the spot for Valet. You'll likely have to post up in the travel lane to check in or drop off your car. The hotel has some unique amenities but I wasn't able to use them for such a short stay. The King corner room far exceeded my expectations. It's spacious and felt pretty luxurious. The star of the room is the soaking tub. It's deep and the water is hot. I especially liked that there's a separate shower. The workspace is nice and there are plenty of plugs for everything. The Nespresso comes stocked and is free to use. The mini bar, not so much, and it's pretty pricy. The bed. THE BED! If I could have brought it home with me I would have. It's lush and it smelled good. Like fresh dryer sheets good. I don't think I've ever said that about a hotel bed before. If you need a firm bed you won't like this one. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but when I did it was pleasant. I am definitely staying here again.

Also went to a free yoga class in one of the conferene rooms . . . nice little perk but the lights were too bright and the instructor did not know how to turn down the bright lights (not quite yoga mood). Gym location is not great - below basement so it's small and without any natural light. Because I often use Hyatt points, I find I am usually placed in a room very close to and facing another building/ parking garage . . . making the room very dark and without any view. Sigh . . . so make sure to ask the front desk if you can get a room that doesn't face another building that feels like it's 8 feet away. Arel was kind enough to take the time to find me a better room that was available the next day. Thank you!

I had a great stay at The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown and would definitely consider staying here…read moreagain. I booked it partly because it's part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection, so I could earn and redeem Hilton Honors points. That was a huge plus since I was visiting during the World Cup and hotel prices were absolutely wild: close to $800 a night if I had paid out of pocket! The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. There was a bellman opening the door, everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating, and it was always easy to grab an Uber right outside the hotel. One feature I really liked was the little pantry in the lobby. It's basically a self-service convenience store stocked with local candy, snacks, wine, beer, and other treats. You scan everything yourself and can charge it directly to your room, which was super convenient. We used our HHonors stay credit to buy a small bottle of Washington State wine and some local chocolates. The hotel has a really fun music theme throughout, and the design is modern with a Scandinavian-inspired feel. As a Gen Xer, I thought the vibe was just plain cool without trying too hard. Our standard King room had huge windows, a spacious sitting area, and clean, minimalist European-style décor that felt fresh and comfortable. The hotel itself was also surprisingly quiet despite being located in an urban area, so we slept really well. The only disappointment was our view. It wasn't much to look at. I was secretly hoping for an upgrade, but no luck. Not a deal breaker, just a minor letdown considering one side of the hotel affords perfect views of the Space Needle. The location is excellent for sightseeing on foot. We walked to Pike Place Market in about 10 minutes, and the Space Needle was also around a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. Just be prepared for Seattle's hills! They're no joke, and you'll be going up and down some very, very steep streets to get to the waterfront. There are also plenty of great restaurants, bars, shops, and coffee shops within easy walking distance. One thing I'd mention is that while we felt comfortable during the day, after dinner around 10:45 p.m. we decided to take an Uber back from the Pike Place Market area instead of walking back to the hotel because parts of the area felt a little sketchy at night. Seattle has a very serious problem with drug users and unhoused folks, and they can get a little scary. I feel so badly for them, but I also felt a lot safer in an Uber than trying to walk back in the downtown area that late at night. The Sound is a stylish, comfortable hotel with excellent service, a great location, and a fun personality. If you're a Hilton Honors member, it's an especially solid choice when Seattle hotel prices are high.

The Hotel occupies the first 10 floors of the ARRIVE Building where the floors above are dedicated to the residents and they share the common areas with the hotel guests. Upon arriving at the front desk, I checked in and was told the room would be ready shortly but it was more like 4 hours later. I found the front desk staff to be professional but not very friendly. There is a lounge area on the 7th floor with a bar and indoor / outdoor seating. At night it is particularly nice because there is an electric fire pit with great seating and view of the Space Needle. Again, the bar staff was professional but not very welcoming. The room we stayed in was a corner room but it only had one windows on one wall so the room stayed pretty dark. It was comfortable and cool with very good bedding. The bathroom was great and it even had a heated floor. Check-out was okay eventhough they had to adjust our bill because we were not credited our Hilton Honors credit for both of us in the room which took a while. It seems that the ride share car services wait outside the hotel on cruise ship mornings so getting a car takes only a minute or two. I would stay at this property again with hopes for a more welcoming staff.

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. This hotel is an excellent choice for those wanting to stay in a waterfront property that's walkable to the cruise terminal as well. Though Four Seasons is not the most cost effective option for a comfortable hotel in downtown Seattle, I highly recommend this hotel based on my recent experience in June 2025. Where to start.... Location, location, location! The hotel is literally a block away from the entrance to Pike Place Market where you can spend days shopping, snacking, and enjoying the views of the water. The views from the hotel room are breathtaking as the Great Wheel (Ferris wheel) and Aquarium are just a few minutes away by foot. From the Four Seasons, we were able to walk to Chinatown in under 30 min (you can also take the train just 2 stops down) and Seattle Center where the Space Needle is located is also walkable and also accessible via monorail. The staff greets you at the door every time you enter and exit, and the lobby is full of surprises like premium coffee and tea in the mornings and a candy bar in the afternoon. Every time our room was serviced, it was done to perfection and then some. The chat function on the app was amazing as I was able to make requests and ask questions with ease. Responses were close to immediate. At the front desk and concierge, staff are also very friendly and treated us with respect and honor. They also provided great advice for food and sightseeing options close by. They never tried to sell me stuff where they would make money off of it. I could go on and on, but I have to say that my family's experience was extremely memorable, and if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. If you're looking for the optimal location for breathtaking views, seconds away from Pike Place Market, and still walkable to the Space Needle, Chinatown, the Convention Center, etc., this is it, y'all!
