The chicken shawarma is the best in the DMV. Friendly service is a bonus. Highly recommend.

Chicken shawarma was one of the best I've had, good portion and good price. Service was also very nice.

So happy this new small business opened up on Kennedy! It's so nice to see another family-run,…read moreindependent spot set up shop. The folks behind the cash register are always friendly. Overall a great corner market that packs a lot into a small amount of space. I appreciate that they have a mix of different food stuffs--both cheaper staples and fancier items (e.g. both organic gluten free pasta and instant ramen; all-natural snacks and also Oreos and chips). The produce seems fresh and I love how many vegan options there are, especially the non-dairy cheeses! Plus they have toiletries, OTC medication, etc. I've popped in several times and I'll be back!

I stopped in for the grand-opening of this organic grocery store and was very impressed. It's like…read morea cross between a convenience store and a supermarket. The store was bright, clean, and well-organized with an expansive selection of organic and conventional items. Although a few items may cost more than they would at a national supermarket chain, many items cost the same or less than you'd find elsewhere. One thing that's particularly nice about this store is that they sell a lot of single-serve items -- so if you ever want a healthy snack but don't necessarily want to commit to buying an entire box of something, you can stop in here (and much like a CVS or convenience store) grab just one of the item without breaking the bank. I also appreciate that this place has fresh produce, including apples, avocados, cabbage, etc. so it's also the kind of place where you can grab a few dinner items without fighting the crazy lines at Walmart or driving farther out to a full-service store. There is also a hot food station at the register that serves spring rolls and meat patties. All in all, this is a great new addition to our neighborhood, and I hope it gets plenty of support from the community!

From fresh groceries to specialty imported goods, this place has it all--and at prices that are **more than reasonable**! One of the best things about this market is its **unique selection**. I was thrilled to find **specialty chocolates and desserts** that I had been searching for everywhere else with no luck. The fact that they carry such rare and delicious treats makes this place a must-visit for anyone who appreciates Mediterranean flavors. Another huge plus? **Convenient street parking** makes it easy to stop by, whether you're grabbing groceries or picking up some amazing prepared foods to enjoy at home. Honestly, shopping here feels like stepping into a bustling European market--warm, welcoming, and full of incredible finds. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out! **Highly, HIGHLY recommend!**

The gentleman was friendly and patient as we explored all the Turkish goods. I ended up grabbing Turkish coffee, Turkish delights (regular/original flavor), and some savory pickled peppers. We enjoyed everything we got. The coffee was tasty, the delights were delicious - a must try - and the peppers were full of flavors that will blow your mind. I plan to visit again when I'm in the area. Don't pass the market without stopping to grab yourself something. Your tastebuds will thank you.
