Very nicely stocked, bright, clean Turkish store. In addition to the standard fare, there are delicious frozen/ready to eat items.

I haven't been here in forever and decided to visit when our family drove past MD to get to home in…read moreVA. This store is amazing. They have many foods, snacks, and drinks that you cannot find in Hmart and Lotte. I bought some Japanese snacks that I grew up eating, as well as a specific brand strawberry - green tea that I haven't found in any other local Asian grocery store yet. I also found more flavors to a specific sparkling drink brand that I like and haven't found in any other local Asian store yet. Interesting fact, some of the Japanese snacks that I grew up eating were from this Chinese grocery store that no longer exists in Chinatown, DC. They brought back memories and nostalgia. This shop is small but you can find so much around and in between the aisles and shelves. Our family enjoyed looking at the bowls, eating utensils, beauty products, and hello kitty stuff (my daughter specifically). Service was so friendly. They gave my two little kids each a piece of Japanese gummy candy. My kids were so happy.

This is a cute little Japanese grocery store. I stopped in for onigiri. I had the tuna and mayo and…read morespam. They were both like $4.20. That's a little high, considering they weren't super stuffed with filling, but it seems like that price is pretty standard for the area. The tuna and mayo was kewpie which I appreciated, so it didn't taste like a tuna sandwich in rice. Lol. I only interacted with one employee here and that was the cashier. She was very nice and smiley.

Moti's Market specializes in Kosher foods for Jewish holidays and for observant Jewish customers…read more They have a wide variety of products for the Passover holiday. The store is packed to the fullest and you can find items covering the aisles and tucked in corners. I was looking for Gluten Free items which are hard to come by in a regular box store. Moti's Market had quite a variety. Gluten Free products are quite expensive and hard to find. I wanted to be able to pick up and look at the products, before buying them. I was able to find Gluten Free cookies, matzah ball mix, matzah, onion soup, and gefilte fish. There is ample parking, but checking out can be a challenge. There are only a few lines and on the day I went, they were snaking through the store, almost from front to back. That being said, cashiers were nice, as well as people who helped me find certain items. The line moved fairly quickly. I would highly recommend this store to people who are Gluten intolerant and observing Jewish holidays. Their deli department and meat department are top notch. Thank you Moti's Market for helping to make our Passover Seder healthy for everyone attending.

Purchased four boxes of knishes. I realize now that they had probably been in stock before Passover. I prepared the 16 knishes according to instructions on the box. They were dry & stale . No one could eat them. Tossed them all . Also purchased lamb chops for 13 people. There was so much fat on them it took me three hours to trim them. One guest complained that one of the lamb chops he had tasted rancid. Also bought an iced chocolate cake to put birthday candles on. When I prepared to slice the cake I found that the icing covered paper wrapped around the round cake. The cake was stale even though the icing was fresh. So much for Moti's!
