    Mangonada - so good!
    Gabe P.

I need to go to the grocery store but since I haven't gone yet , I came here for lunch recently. I had a general idea of what I wanted. It was crowded so there was a little bit of a wait before placing my to go order. I ordered chicken fajita nachos. Looked good on the menu. There were several items I was torn between ordering. My order wrong. The manager offered to change it but I didn't bother. Instead of chicken nachos they charged me for fajita shrimp nachos. The shrimp was ok but I think the chicken would have just flowed a little bit better with the overall dish. The dish was flavorful. The portion sizes were very generous; couldn't eat it all. Overall, I was satisfied. I love all the different hot sauces available as well as other condiments. The staff was attentive and friendly. Beware : the parking lot can be a mess.

I really love the taco salads and the mango frozen treat here, but the customer service is lacking. The workers aren't friendly at all. Specifically, the older woman I usually see there. I think she might be the owner. I'm not sure because she never says a word. Friendly customer service would make the experience so much better. With that said, the taco salad is one of the best I have ever had. However, my rating reflects the lack of friendliness.

So for years I have passed by this placed and never thought to stop in. Well today I was determined to take this chance, hubby was like oh wow we going here!! I've always wanted to try it...we both was thinking the same things for years and never told one another. When you pull up you think you're entering this small lil dessert shop. Absolutely not, looks can be deceiving, that I know for sure now. You walk in and there's a huge area where they have the menu and party items to purchase, then you walk up to the dessert gallery( I say gallery because it's a lot to choose from). Then there's a restaurant beside that. You can sit and enjoy a nice delicious inexpensive meal. We had the wings and nachos...the nachos was the best we both ever had better than homemade. The service was really nice and friendly..true if you sit down for lunch or dinner they can be a little inattentive but once you request something they on it. Also they are clean and they constantly cleaning make sure you have a decent clean area to eat at. The cashier was my favorite she was so friendly and the most pleasant person I've encountered in years. We will definitely be back..crossing fingers the margarita be available to taste.

They definitely have great Mexican food also

Not only does Shelly's do bakery . Their food which is Mexican is hands down one the best spots to get food on the Eastside . It's located on hwy 79 near Pinson.. if you have a out on that end do your self a favor and stop and grab some food . You will not be disappointed. Oh and yes the pastry and the ice cream is definitely on point also.

I'm back inside 24hr, it's that good! Today I got the ceviche and street corn and shot a bunch of pics.

I've lived extremely close to this place for three years and had no clue it even existed. So I decided to stop there one night and I was not disappointed at all. The tacos were good the quesadilla was also good. My favorite thing about the whole restaurant was the paletas that I had the flavor in those ice cream bars were amazing. I would suggest you make a stop here if you're in the neighborhood.

Great little place in Pinson. I can get all my Mexican street food cravings here. They have a variety of street snacks like Mexican street corn, fruit cup, Dorilocos, prepared chicharrones, hot Cheetos with Cheese and mangonadas to name a few of so many different snacks!! All the snacks I have had, have been good! What I recently ordered were their Al carbon tacos which I have heard people rave about and they did not disappoint! They were very flavorful and surprised to get a lot of meat on them. So if you love your meat be prepared! They also have a salsa bar where I can choose my own toppings. Ahh and don't forget to get a very delicious homemade agua fresca! My favorite is the coco con nuez (coconut and nuts) You can get your cakes, flan, and chocoflan made here to go unless you need it for a special occasion then you will need to call days ahead. I'm still not convince on their cakes because the last two times the cake tasted bland to me, but other might think otherwise. As the name states is also a creamery, with a variety of homemade ice cream and creamsicles!! I have had quite a few of their Flavors ice cream and creamsicles and they are delicious! So if ever around highway 79 in Pinson, this is a stop you might need to do!

If your in the market for amazing authentic Mexican food this is your place. I had numerous Co-workers tell me I had to try it so I did. I've been three days this week and have taken two other employees with me and they also loved it. The donut was also great.

So I have been following the owner of this Bakery for some time before she opened this location and…read moreknew about the location for some time but have not gone because it was out of my way. I notice they were posting that they were going to be open on certain days for breakfast and decided to stop by on my way to work. So being that is winter season she had some warm tamales, burritos, variety of fresh bread, cake slices, cupcakes and champurrado- It is a traditional Mexican chocolate drink that is thickened with pinole (ground maize flour), Cinnamon, whole clove, and star anise (keep in mind that there are a variety of versions). On my stop I bought some tamales and champurrado. I really enjoyed the champurrado, it was just perfect not to sweet and not to bland and enough consistency on the thick side. As for the tamales, I order their chicken with red salsa, cheese with jalapeno salsa and chicken with Mole (traditional Mexican thick sauce). I have to say that I have had better, but I have to keep in mind that there are a variety of tamales and all are done differently. So to me they were decent and it will all depend on each person palette if they like. I was disappointed in not getting some of their fresh bread but did not want it sitting at my desk all day, but will update the review once I try it and their cakes (which I already placed an order and will post pictures). There menu may change either by season or new added bread, pastries or delicious sweets, so keep that in mind and would suggest to go in and look. P.S...They also have homemade ice cream, but because of the cold weather, I did not even bother getting tempted.
