Placed a to-go order. I ordered a taco salad but received two soft tacos and one hard shell. The soft tortillas were so stale I couldn't bite them. They tasted like they had been sitting for a while. The chips were also terribly stale. read more

These pictures were admittedly after we started eating because they were all delicious! Service was great, and the restaurant was buzzing with people. There was also a buffet this Sunday at lunchtime, which we did not partake in. Service was awesome! Multiple staff members were very sweet and joked with our kiddos, and they were eating it up (pardon the pun). We go here periodically, but after today's visit, it made me feel like we don't visit nearly enough! TVs were on with playoff football, and music was also good. read more

Cool place! We visited on Sunday, shortly after 11. There was only 1 other table at the time we arrived. Within 15 minutes the place was very busy! Our table of 5 ordered 2 lunch specials, the pollo something (baked potato with chicken) and steak fajitas. The kids had a cheeseburger meal, chicken tender meal and a taco/ quesadilla meal. We were thoroughly impressed with our dishes and the price was super reasonable. We had chips and salsa refilled several times, the chips are really light and airy, delicious! Parking is great, lots of spaces. The service was great as well. My tip is to go right at 11 on a Sunday or you may end up waiting for a bit. read more

So...I'm not a picky person. You can look through my reviews - it takes a pretty bad experience for me to give a bad review. First of all, this place has been good before so that's why I'm not going 1 star. But recently, I don't know why, every time I get the beef nachos, they are SOAKED with so much orange grease that the beans and beef were floating on top. I'm guessing it's from undrained beef.and they just throw it on the nachos straight from the pan, grease and all. This pic is AFTER I attempted to soak it up with a wad of paper towels and tried pouring it out in the garbage. Personally, I find La Cabanita in Springville is far and away the superior of the two and has never been subpar, even after going there probably about 30 times. I've been here about 6 times and it's only been good a few times. read more

Absolutely awesome Mexican food!!! My husband and I stumbled upon this while we were in town visiting family from Florida. Great decor, super awesome service (really, i felt they went above and beyond!!), delicious margaritas, and tasty food. I ordered shrimp fajitas (delicious!!) Hubby got the chimichanga and he gobbled it up! Doesn't get much better. I can't really think of anything negative to say.. the salsa was a tiny bit salty, but I like salt, so that didn't bother me! we received our food quickly. I can tell you when we come to visit, we'll be back!! read more

As most of you, I'm pretty skeptical about trying new restaurants as I'm afraid of being disappointed and let down. But this place was not a let down by no means! We started our visit with salsa, cheese dip and margaritas. The salsa blew me away as I can taste the freshness throughout and all of the flavors popped; nothing was unnoticed. Instead of indulging out of hunger we took our time and enjoyed every bite. The cheese dip was great. But come on someone has to actually try to mess up cheese dip lol! And now to my favorite part.... the margaritas. You have to get one when you visit. They are amazing and not just this bland mix they are fresh squeezed limes! Just wow! My son ordered the fajitas flameadas with shrimp and he said it's the best he has had; considering that's what he orders at every Mexican restaurant. My mother had the Carnitas and the plate was spot on; the meat was cooked perfectly! And lastly I had the Carne Azada another perfectly prepared dish. The flavors in this food were outstanding and everything so so fresh! Lastly and most importantly the atmosphere. We were greeted with such happiness and felt so welcomed. They treated us as if we were long time customers even though it was our first time there. So attentive and making sure we had everything. I love when the staff treats its customers as if they were family. So if your looking for a Mexican restaurant that will transport your mouth to Mexico this is the place! read more

Been here a few times and the place is average. Last time we went we waited nearly 15 minutes just to order then once we finished eating I had to wave somebody down just to get my check. The food is ok considering you have no other options in Odenville but the service really drags down the experience. I'll drive a few extra minutes for something better. read more

Visited here for the first time tonight and it won't be our last time! The food was outstanding and the service was some of the friendliest I have had in a while! Ordered the Carnitas and the meat was cooked perfectly! Salsa was extremely fresh and very good! Chips are fresh and cheese dip was great! We will definitely be back. read more

I will give this restaurant 1 star because the chips were good, and that was the only thing that was good. The cheese dip was watery and bland. My shrimp fajitas were very salty. The rice, beans, and tortillas were all old and not edible. My friend's nachos were also old and the meat was dried out. They had no flavor. We tried doctoring our food with the salsa which was not that great either. We ate it because we were starving and I had already taken my insulin. Shortly after we got our food we were presented with an unwanted show in which a female hit her male companion in the face with her phone in a showdown right outside the restaurant. The rest of her party was seated and she was allowed to return to their table afterwards. She left again to stir up the drama some more in the parking lot. I don't know if the food itself gave us indigestion or it was the combination of it and the show. I see no reason to ever go back to this restaurant. This is worse than the worst Mexican restaurant in the Leeds/Moody area. read more

I walk in get seated.. waitress comes to ask me if im rdy to order after she got my drink. I tell her no as the menu is large and i wanted to look it over a minute. Within two minutes i know what i wanted and patiently waited for the waitress to return. 10 minutes goes by before to waitress comes to take my order. And mind you the place was not busy during my visit. I ordered a sweet tea, strawberry marg, beef nachos with cheese and a chicken quesadilla with rice. The sweet tea was good. The strawberry margarita didnt even taste like strawberry. It tasted like lime for some reason with a hint of strawberry and it was too strong. The beef nachos when the person brought them out said "careful the nachos are hot" so I thought i was getting nice fresh nachos... boy was i wrong. The plate was scalding hot like it had been put in the microwave and im sure it was. The meat looked like it had been sitting out for a while and it tasted nasty. So i moved on from the nachos to the rice. The rice was ok, they were warm at least but not something to rave over. And the chicken quesadilla was so rubbery I couldn't take more than 1 bite. I set everything infront of me waiting for the waitress to return so i could ask if i could have my food fixed but 20 minutes goes by and the waitress doesnt even come to check on me. I was livid at this point so i just got up paid for the crap and left. 100% do not recommend this place at all. read more
