They only have two bathrooms so the line at intermission is a little long, but it's bearable since it's a small theater. If you haven't been, I highly recommend checking it out. Very talented performers, pretty art space, and wonderful productions. Also gotta check out the decked out truck in the parking lot, it's a piece of art.

Came in with my daughter to see two short plays, The Almighty, Low (written & directed by Marq Del Monte) and Deceased & Disgruntled (written by Winnie Wenglewick and Tag Team directed by Brained Starling & Marla Kalin). Don't want to give the play away, but both did a great job in intertwining the story of two acts about heaven, hell and the afterlife. Thoroughly enjoyed them both and as always, Winnie as a good selection of snacks and drinks (donations accepted). You can also bring wine or beer and she has glasses, corkscrews for you to use. You can also purchase tickets online and you can get their discounted punch card at the window. They provide discounts to seniors, students and military too!

Our seats were front row balcony and I'm normally afraid of heights. When I first got to our seats i felt kind of woozy but before the end of show I was over my fear. And you might spend 5-10 minutes in the security line before the show. On site parking costs have increased over the years, and everyone leaving at once creates a backup, I've switched to using apps to park a couple blocks away. I can appreciate they don't want to support scalpers, but the no refunds/no exchanges for single ticket buyers combined with the fact the tickets aren't available until the day of show make it stressful to commit months in advance. This would be easily fixed by having a secondary face-value market and/or allowing same-show exchanges when availability allows.

That creates a very small space for the people next to each other to put their legs. I was in seat C13, hubby was in C12 and the 6ft. tall lady in C11 had to vie for leg room. I believe the seats are original to the theater. My seat was lumpy and not at all comfortable. It was directly behind the seat in front of me so I had to lean to the side to see the stage. That said, the building has a very interesting history. It was originally built in the 1920's as the Town Hall for Littleton. A fire truck was kept in what's now the lobby and there was a jail in the basement. The whole building has a historical feel. The staff was friendly and welcoming and their production of Avenue Q was excellent. Parking is along Main Street which could be a challenge so I recommend arriving early.

Back then they allowed smoking and it was pretty hard to breathe at times. They would often do a non-smoking show on a late Sunday afternoon, but it never had the same energy as the other ones and the comedians tended to trash talk it. I've seen some amazing acts here over the years. And I very much appreciate how much they help develop up-and-coming local comedians. Yeah, there is a two drink and/or item minimum. This doesn't bother me. I'm not someone who really goes out to see comedy and NOT drink. Honestly, my biggest complaint would be the chairs being bolted down. It can get a little tight down there for larger folks. I totally get it, they don't have to keep moving them around back to position, and they can definitely maximize the space. So it doesn't always make it the most comfortable for me, but hey, I do feel that the staff go out of their way to accommodate people's individual needs. And speaking of the staff, everyone that I've interacted with here is always just the friendliest and most helpful person around. Particular shout out to Adam and Adrian, who always give me A++ service when I am at a show.

They partnered with a parking garage across the street where you could get discounted parking and then you just walk over so that's where most people park. I went for an earlier show so we ended up waiting outside in line before they let us in. You do have to pay for your tickets in advance online and then you pick them up at will call. The problem is the person who bought the ticket needs to physically go and show your ID so make sure that you're committed. It's first come first serve so if you want a good seat upfront, make sure you show up early. They also partnered with a restaurant next-door so if you eat at the restaurant, then you're guaranteed a front row spot. The Comedy show has a two item minimum. I really enjoy this because I don't drink so being able to get two items instead of having to get two drinks is a great option.This time around, I got the chicken basket that comes with fries as my first item and then a cookie sundae as my second item. Both were definitely overpriced for what they were, but besides that it was fine. Definitely order your food as soon as you sit down because the longer you wait the longer it's gonna take to get your order and when they start piling everybody in the orders tend to back up. They also take your phone when you first go in so make sure you have it on do not disturb and they'll also take your smart watch. They put them in the secured bags and then you take the bag with you so your phone is always with you. You just can't access it until the end of the show. Overall, I like this Comedy location because of the two item minimum. I just wish the prices were a little more fair. If they drop the prices, I would definitely order more than two items and probably still pay the same amount that I did for the two items that I had to pay for.

Keri, our instructor, was able to tailor the lesson to his pace, and build his confidence up- we we both had a lot of fun and felt great about the outcome of the lesson. Keri even offered to professionally mix 2 versions of the song we chose (at my dad's request) for a small extra fee. It was wonderful we could get that taken care of at State of the Arts- one less thing to worry about! So glad we scheduled with Keri, and I would recommend this lesson to any one with special event coming up.

My daughter has always had a love of playing different characters, and had performed in a few small…read moreplays before she started training with Colorado School of Acting when she was 12. As a student of their certificate program her skills have grown by leaps and bounds over the last two years. The program is fun but also serious about giving students the skills to be successful. She has studied from some of the same books that are assigned to college acting students. Teachers know their stuff and are good at creating an environment that is safe and supportive but also pushes students to stretch into their capabilities. The school has also been amazing at helping us find opportunities and avoid pitfalls as she's become active in the local film community. It's great that they have different options to meet different needs. For my daughter the certificate program has been ideal, and has allowed her to also attend the workshops that are a good fit for someone who wants to work on skills without committing to more of a "career" type track. They also have camps, which we can't speak to since we haven't done one, and they have a group taking a trip to LA soon. She is passionate about acting and would like to pursue this as a career path. Her training at CSA has truly given her the acting skills and professionalism that have helped her to already have a solid resume and an excellent start on her journey as a professional actor.

He has grown tremendously as a young actor through Colorado School of Acting - in both confidence and skill. The leadership at the school is especially supportive and well connected. Whenever we have questions, we trust the advice given to us at CSA. We have been given many opportunities and have met lots of local filmmakers and actors. The school offers showcases as well in which industry professionals from Los Angeles come to see the children perform. If you or your child are serious about becoming an on-screen actor and learning the ropes from people who really understand the industry, there is no where else in town to be!

The show was hilarious, the venue was super clean, and both the audio and views of the stage were excellent. The only reason I'm taking off one star is the seating situation. Some of the floor seating consisted of what looked like basic lawn chairs rather than actual theater seats. For a venue like this, I would have expected something a little more comfortable, especially when paying for floor seats. Other than that, everything was great! Parking was surprisingly easy, with a parking garage conveniently located nearby. When I arrived, there were tons of people entering the theater, so I expected long lines for food and drinks. Surprisingly, the lines moved quickly, the prices were fairly reasonable, and I was able to grab something and make it to my seat without any issues. The theater was well maintained, the staff kept things moving efficiently, and the overall atmosphere was great. I had an excellent view of the stage, the sound quality was fantastic, and Gary Owen put on a great show! Overall, a really enjoyable experience at the Paramount Theatre. Upgrade those floor seats to something more comfortable, and this would easily be a five-star venue!

I am so conflicted about this review but I want to leave one because Convergence Station was both…read moreone of the coolest things I've done in a long time, and something that could have been infinitely cooler if it was operating as intended. This was my first time at a Meow Wolf location, and as someone who is very into escape rooms, art, and unique experiences it feels like I absolutely am the target audience. On the surface, it is an extremely well designed interactive art experience that you can get lost in for hours. I absolutely loved this. When you look a bit deeper, it gets even cooler -- this interactive world has secrets and quests to uncover if you keep an eye out. However, this is where the problems started, because so many of these pieces were entirely non-functional. We had a QPass, which you can tap to terminals and other things to interact with the world and find lore and activities. This was paid, and while it was only $3, only about 60% of these tap features worked. There are also supposed to be a number of interactive quests in the space -- we uncovered the starting points and multiple steps of some, only to find parts were broken entirely and unable to be done. Finding and uncovering instructions on how to interact with a secret part of the world was thrilling, only to be incredibly disappointing when we rushed to the next stop to find it was broken and we wouldn't be able to complete it. We were in total only able to complete one quest (the pizza room) and would have done a second (the organ), but it was roped off as they were setting up for a nighttime event. Two phones in the station out of all the ones we tried worked, and they were so quiet you could barely hear anything. The convenience store, slime scanners, vending machine puzzle, panchinko machines, interactive computers, fossil room, and multiple QPass stations were all broken, only partially interactable, or frozen. We still spent hours at Meow Wolf, and it was an incredibly cool experience with weird and wonderful art. I had a fantastic time, but I almost wish I hadn't started to uncover the world and quests because then I wouldn't have known how busted so many of the features were. I would absolutely love to come back here if I knew these things would work, and I really hope they continue to invest in this space and do new and creative things. I wanted to love this, and I did, but it was also a bummer when I know how cool it really was supposed to be. I would still recommend it -- I would have given it 10 out of 5 stars but instead I'm sitting at like a 3.5 and I sincerely wish that wasn't the case.
