The crab is really good but MAN... is it messy to eat! This place will give you A LOT of food. The box will start to bend and morph because it's so much food. The crab, sausages, corn, and potatoes are already sauced and buttered but they will give you FOUR additional cups of extra butter (just in case). Stumbled on this place via IG and from the few pics i saw i has to check it out and i wasn't disappointed. It is a good truck that is located at the same place daily. However they do run out of food as the day goes ok so I'd recommend getting there early. I didn't get there soon enough to try the seafood nachos, but i was able to get the Cajun crab platter with extra shrimp and man was it plenty of good and delicious. The sauce on the crab and way it was cooked was perfect. And it didn't take long at all to get our food either. They do have benches available to sit on while you wait or just wait in the car listening to some Marvin gay to get you in the mood for this delicious food. I ordered 3lb minimum crawfish and it was saturated in a dry chili powder type of seasoning. They were okay but the dry rub seasoning was overwhelming after a the first pound. The shrimps were seasoned very well and the crab was pretty decent. Im not use to grabs in a to go box though. Sadly I had to geaux through tummy aches and pains after eating this unique set up. Finally took the drive to DeSoto to check out the infamous food truck. Upon arrival it was good and bad...bad cause the line was longer than a football stadium and good since everyone was patiently waiting for their food. While waiting in line, good time to decide what you want so when you get up to the window, you can quickly place your order. As a seafood lover, I added a lobster to the mix and although it was tasty, next time I'll add another crab cluster instead. Food was flavorful and container was packed to the rim with yummy-ness!!! This is without a shadow of a doubt, not only the best seafood in DeSoto, it's the best overall eating experience to be had in DeSoto. I got the Cajun munch sampler that was worth every Penny of the 27.99 price. It brutally cold today so I also split a bowl of the jambalaya and the gumbo with the boyfriend and still have a bit left over. The people running the window were super nice and service was quick.
