Went to get my car washed I desperately needed it. Cost 12$ for the best package which is not too bad for a car wash, but the machine did a terrible job. I ended up having to basically rewash my car again, along with this disgusting wheels and sign rolling over my "clean" car. Overall due to convenience It's worth my time but not my money. read more

Stumbled upon this Shell when the gas light came on whilst driving on the 405... boy, what a great find! Filled up for $4.29/gallon here. Drove just down the street afterwards and the other stations had prices around $4.45. What a great find this place was - all by luck! (though I'm sure I could have used gasbuddy) The little mini mart had a decent selection, too. Managed to pick up a wild cherry Pepsi - so much tastier than regular Pepsi, in my opinion. And decently priced - not a huge rip off. Convenient location it seems, so worth a stop in if you need a fill up! read more

Don't forget to put your Ralphs card if you have points or Fuel rewards card for an automatic $.03 off per gallon. This station seems to be lower than the one off Willow and Lakewood Blvd. Also this station is not too busy so you can get in and out ASAP. The traffic here is also light. Other than that, I've never really interacted with staff members so I can't comment on them. But kudos to them because this station is pretty clean. read more

Stopped to get gas and to use the restroom. I asked the attendant where the restroom was and I was given directions as well as told how to turn the light on. I was given a stick with a key on it. You have to wave the stick at the ceiling to get the light to come on...weird... Upon entering the restroom I saw a sign stating NOT to flush toilets paper...gross... While using the restroom the light turns off...annoying!!! After using the toilet I noticed that there was graffiti carved into the toilet seat, as well as the soap dispenser and mirror... Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to this location any time soon!!! read more

Shell is my preferred brand of gasoline. I've attempted to get gas here on two different occasions and they seem to be shut down at night. I'm not sure what time they end their business day so it would be appreciated if somebody posts their operating hours. God forbid you run out of gas in the middle of the night thinking you can gas up here and you show up to discover they're closed. I don't know what's up with this part of town but the 76 down the street is also closed. My third stop had me at the Mobil on Spring and Los Coyotes which was open at night. Hallelujah. read more

I've been coming here almost every week for 2 years and have never experienced good customer service from this lady but today takes the cake. (There is an older Hispanic lady I believe that has always been kind and helpful to me). As most know the bathroom outside is typically left unlocked for people to freely use up until a month or 2 ago and you would have to walk in and ask for the key. Walked in and asked the lady behind the counter for the key and she said "we don't have a public restroom". Clearly you do since I've been using it for years but ok. I responded with "oh ok since when?" In a calm tone of voice just genuinely curious when this change happened. She ignored me and paid me no mind. Me naively thinking she didn't hear me, I repeated myself. She responded with "I don't have to explain shit to you" I was baffled because I hadn't said anything rude and wasn't being unreasonable. So I said "ok I've been coming here for years and it's always been open to the public" (which by law in California it has to be) and she barked back and said "it's closed, the toilets broken" I replied with "alright maybe start with that next time? Or put a sign up?" I then walked down and aisle and was going to get a snack and spend money here as I usually do and she yelled at me "OK BYE" so I left and will not be coming back. I've never had such a disgusting interaction of customer service in my life. This is also the first review I have ever left anywhere so that's saying something. Avoid this place because they do not deserve your business and clearly don't care about people. read more

Very easy and convenient for someone who goes to school at CSULB. I have been here a few times and to me it's a standard gas station. I didn't go inside the actual convenience store so I don't have anything to say about that. However, the machines all worked and I was able to put gas in my car. To me, Shell prices are always a little more than I'd like to pay, but if I'm in a pinch and really need it then I can't critique their scale by which they charge people. This gas station is never crowded (at least not during the times I've been there), which I like because trying to find a spot in a crowded gas station is a LIVING NIGHTMARE. read more

One of the cheaper places to get gas near CSULB. There's also a 76 nears Joanns on Los Coyotes Diagonal that's slightly cheaper than here . Also , this location has like the best squeegees . They're always in good shape and never leave streaks when I'm cleaning my windows. 4/5 stars because they always have those annoying people trying to sell you the crappy wax (please do not touch my brand new car) and also because they don't have a slushy machine. read more

The car wash is super faulty, management knows about it and has done nothing to fix it. The kiosk at the car wash does not give you a receipt and the car wash itself goes haywire when you pull in. DO NOT GET A CAR WASH HERE!!! I paid for a wash, the machine kept telling me to back up, and then I could not get a refund without "calling the manager" so that they could "look at the tapes" to prove what I was saying is true. Everyone I talked to said "yeah, that happens a lot" Rather than just refund me on the spot, I had to call the manager during her hours (7-3??) and now have to drive back to the gas station for a refund. read more

Very convenient to the Cal State/Los Altos/College Park West area. They have a convenience market, car wash and a good amount of parking for the vacuum/air/water station. Car wash is a little overpriced but does the job.'Much better than the hands free wash down the street. I like that they are generally .10 less than the chevron station down the street off of stearns and palo verde. (just to show how convenient this station is, I wrote this whole review on my iPhone in between pumping gas and getting my car washed.) read more

I have used their car wash twice now and both times over the last few​ months, my car leaves there soaked. The dryer on top never comes down to dry the car. Both times the employee walked out​ and said my car looked clean, then walked away from me. Rude and tacky to pay for a service that I am not getting. Now I have to go home and get the water spots off of my car before they set in. Never again! read more

I didn't go inside so I don't know how customer service is. But I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the bathrooms were, especially since they aren't locked for customers only. It's just a deadbolt. So realistically anyone can get in. But they were super clean and smelled good. read more

Incompetent and worthless staff. Unfriendly and unhelpful. Every time I have attempted to obtain customer service from them I have received a "call my manager" who is only available during morning hours. Convenient that the only person who can help is available during the average joes normal working hours making it nearly impossible for most to reach. Get your junk pumps to work right so they accept the Shell rewards card. Recently ordered a Shell rewards card. Found that it won't work at pump, gave me error at two different pumps. Finally had to go pay inside to get my discount. Store attendant seemed annoyed when I told her about problem. Had to overpay inside to get a fill up. Hope the excess goes back on my card like attendant said it would! Been coming here due to 20 to 30 cents cheaper, not sure it's worth it though for corn fuel. If they don't get said issues fixed will take business elsewhere. read more

The location is convenient, but I have experienced more than one occasion that makes you say hmmmm?!!..They can't break bills even if you fill up gas..Even getting "air" for your tires can be challenging as I asked the clerk lady if she would turn on the "air" and after walking back into the store "Twice" to ask the lady nicely if she's turned on the air which she stated she did...but no dice with the "Air so I just drove off. There have been times when they even make you wait "forever" to pay the gas because they are doing a "shift change" which can be a delay! I won't return to this station!! read more

Car wash is terrible. When pulling forward for the dryer to dry my car, it took off my antenna. I have a Mini Cooper, meaning I have a very small antenna and it ripped it clean off. Now have to go to my dealership tomorrow to get it replaced. Never going back there to get a car wash again. read more

If you want to be harassed by people that spray chemicals on your car without permission, then this is your station. If you complain Shell Corporation will refer you to a Texas based company that will refer you to some marketing company that does not answer the phone or return calls. I post this only after I had an altercation with a SHELL EMPLOYEE and had to physically defend myself. Shell Corporation has been unresponsive to my complaints. read more
