Clean. Great Location. Carwash is solid. They have compressed air to blow out all pesky dust that gets into the crevices. Carwash is a fair price. The one downfall, everything else is drastically overpriced. read more

I like the service. The place is clean and cashier was friendly. The only downside is space on gas island. It was a little tight.

They have the best customer service around cheap gas that they got everything rolling perfectly fine now that everybody stream the right way

Fantastic location, purchased gas at a great price considering premium is now averaging @ $6 and higher! This location purchased @ $5.59

Came here recently after they finished their update. I got few gallons of 91 and a few gallons of E85 to make an E60 blend and it almost immediately start to pull timing in my Subaru. This problem went away as soon as finished the tank and got gas somewhere else. read more

The new owners have changed it alot. On good side updated gas pumps. However the repair shop has gone down in its service. I have used them for years on all sorts of repairs, new tires, smog check. However this last experience with smog left me owing 200 bucks and no pass. The staff in repair has either left or has their hands tied with new owners. Sadly I won't return. read more

Brought my 19-year old Highlander in for a coolant leak. Bert replaced a leaking original radiator and both hoses. Very pleased with his work. Took it it at 9am and it was done same day. Nice clean work, too. I'll keep coming to this shop. They even gave me a ride back to my house when I dropped it off. read more

I have been here several times for smog. They are always so nice and helpful! They go above and beyond. Thank you!

Do not trust this place. We own a RV and had the Propane tank filled there. Since it was filled 2 rather than 1 star. It seemed odd we needed 7 gallons since the capacity is 12.2 gallons but it is the kind of thing you let slide. Another RV owner in the park showed me his paper ticket from this station for 8 gallons of propane for a tank that holds 7 gallons. They appear to bill people for air. It is highly unlikely my gauge is incorrect and his 30 pound tank (30 pound tanks hold 7 gallons of propane) magically expanded to hold an extra gallon. We were not asked if anyone was in the RV and if the gas was on. I also asked if I could move the RV the 20' to the pump and pay for the propane as I filled with gas; no pay first. read more

Needed to get my smog cert so I came to these guys. Pulled in early morning, guys were friendly and helpful. Whole thing took about 20 minutes. read more

Good service and good for your basic needs belts batteries, voltage stuff. Higher end stuff might take a little longer in time

Total Crook from when my mom brought in a coupon and had her oils changed all the way down to me needing propane in the last minute him knowing that I was desperate for fuel would not refill my bottles only do the exchange trying to kill me it is $30 for 6 gallons when my propane bottle only holds five maximum,no receipt went back to get some money refunded I should change no luck stay away from this they have a sign closer that says 399 a gallon but will not do Philips only exchange ends up $30 for 4 gallons read more

This review is for the smog check. Initially I was hesitant to go here from reading all the negative reviews, however, I was driving by and thought let's check it out. I went there about 8:30am on a Tuesday morning, asked if they did smog checks, they said yes we can do it right now for you. Pulled my car in, the whole process took less than 15 mins. Spoke to 2 different gentlemen while I was there and they were both very friendly. Cost was $59 and that was about the same price as 3 or 4 other places I called. So yes I would definitely recommend these guys for ur smog check!!! read more

I don't know why this gas station has so many terrible reviews. It is located right on the corner with easy access in and out of the station. There were plenty of available pumps, and no problems here! It was great. Maybe other reviewers went here when it was busy? I don't know, but I thought this was a decent gas station. read more

They are professional, friendly and provide good service. I have taken our vehicles there and will go there again.

I was on my way to church when I noticed a light on my dashboard. Not wanting to drive 30 miles, I pulled into this station. I asked the man inside if he could look at my car. "No. ". I said, "If I buy oil, will you put it in?" "Come back tomorrow. ". I realize it was Sunday but cars break down on Sundays too. I asked if I could park on the side of the building and call AAA. He reluctantly agreed, but said for a short time only. The sign says "Friendly Service" . I think not. read more

I called and they told me that it would be about a 45 minute wait while they changed the oil and checked some other things. They were all so nice and I was in and out right on time. I like that they asked me if I wanted to be put in their system for future service. My neighbor has gone there for 15 years. That's the only rec I need. Thanks Andrew and crew. Great work. read more

Rude, they'll take your money but won't let you use the rest room. And the gas prices are high. I got just enough gas to get home. Never going back. read more

SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!!! Went inside to pay. When at the pump it does NOT show the price on pump. So not only are the prices horrible but you don't get correct amount of gas. Went inside to talk to attendant who lied and said they don't have to put prices on pump because prices are on the sign. LIAR!!! Will NEVER go here again!!!! read more

76 Gas Station - Receipt shows NO price per gallon!!! - Auto Repair Near Me - Seal Beach, California

So i came in there for a smog test and as i'm filling out the paperwork, the elderly mechanic asked if the check engine light was on. I told him it was, but i said i didn't think it was emissions related because I have diagnostic software on my laptop and didn't see anything emissions related. Instead of telling me if the light is on, it's an automatic fail, he proceeded to test the car and fail it then tell me I owe him $60 for the test and they'll re-test for free if I pay them to repair the car. At that point i realized what was going on and why he didn't just say it would automatically fail. It was so he could push me into a costly repair. This station has a long history of taking advantage of old people, and women. They used to rip off my grandmother when she lived in Leisure World. I won't be having them repair the car, nor will ii go back and have them re-test for another $60. Nor will i ever buy gas there again. Btw... the car failed due to a loose gas cap. I guarantee they would have "found" a lot more wrong with the car had i given it to them to repair. read more

I definitely should have read the reviews before getting scammed. Nobody's fault but mine. If you are reading this and need a mechanic, take my advice, do not go here. read more

Just another disrespectful POS Arab run gas station... Disrespectful to the next level. I had to come in here to bring a work truck in for a quick oil change. Since I walked in they treated me like shit and like I was unworthy of their time and to be on their property. I asked him to fill out a purchase form which legally I can not fill out. They do. He shoves it back like a dick head and tells me you fill it out "that's not my job". He then refused to take it and release my work truck back to us. So per protocol I called the payment service company to explain to him. Again he refused to accept the phone to have them explain to him it IS his job to handle this shit per their contract. Nope refused and again started shit talking me again. After about 45 min the contract company made me pay it with my own money and refunded me and barred their business. Apparently this station gets weekly flags of the same shit. Happily their contract will be pulled for all local businesses due to this crap. Refuse to come here. Go to the Cheveron across the street. Don't support another shit ass business who don't know how to run a business nor deserve to own a business in this country. In short, fuck them and take your business else where. They deserve to go under. read more

Zero services! Just don't go here. There is a perfectly clean Chevron across the street with clean bathrooms etc.

Overcharged me for propane, when I objected, they scorned me for "being stupid enough" to patronize them. My usual supplier charges $2.99 per gallon, they charged me $6.25. read more

I really wish I could mark zero stars, or even negative stars for certain business establishments...this one takes the cake. When I go to a smaller size gas station, I usually head inside to pay for gas. I just don't feel comfortable swiping my card at a station that has only a few pumps. I'm not sure why. I enter the front door with my card in my hand and make eye contact with a service attendant who I notice is comfortably seated. He looks at me and looks down at my card. Sheri: $30.00 on #1 please Mr. Cozy: You know you can pay at the pump? Sheri: Yes, I saw that. Mr. Cozy: You don't want to pay at the pump? Sheri: No, I would rather pay in here please, is your machine working in here? Mr. Cozy (still seated): Yes, it works. Sheri: Can you please ring me up for $30.00 on #1 please? Mr. Cozy: *grunt* Next time you pay at the pump. Next time? Next time I go to BIG gas station. Ugh, seriously...he HAS to be used to people coming in to pay...it's right next to Leisure World for goodness sake! read more

This place is a rip off. I had to replace 2 heater hoses and the charge was $150! here is the breakdown. I asked the owner/guy in charge "150? how much is labor?" Owner "$75, plus the parts, antifreeze is $29.99" me: "you use 100% and mix it or 50/50?" owner: "100%" me: "1 or 2 gallons?" owner "one" me: "100% antifreeze is $12.99 not $30" Labor $75 - for this job? thats on the high side. the guy who actually worked on it did not have all his certifications, so its not like im paying for a certified professional. how do i know? i asked. PARTS $75!!! I asked if i brought my own parts and the old man with gray hair said "I only do job if you buy parts from me, I need to make money!" 2 heater hoses from O'reilly's $20 - He charged me $50! And I saw the O'reilly truck deliver it so I know it wasnt OEM. And then he said i needed a new thermostat, but i put an end to that after I told him I replaced the thermostat already a few months ago. his replay "Oh, ok, so it should be ok" His clientele probably doesnt use the internet. Avoid this place at all costs! Total scam! All the reviews on Yelp and Google are accurate. Overcharges for smog test. They have a $20 coupon to lure you in, but WITH the coupon the price is the same as the REGULAR price of most smog stations. When you call and ask for price they will literally just hang up the phone! Seriously, just try it for fun (562) 626-8045. They will hang up on you immediately LOL. Go to the "Seal Beach 16th Street Garage" just down the street in Seal Beach. Much better service and knowledgeable staff. Not like this two-bit shady operation at 76. And on another note - 76 has the worst quality gas. I hope this place goes out of business. It's a cancer that needs to go away. read more

Horrible, Stupid, Rude, Scam!!! I went to fix my tire's slow leak, the guy couldn't find a nail, so he claimed the dirt between the tire and rim is the cause, and charged me $20 for cleaning the rim. Next day, I got low pressure sign again, so I took my car in to Sam's and they found a nail right on it. I demanded the money back but he acted like he didn't understand me. This review is for the Smog Check Station, but since they're attached to the gas station, one can infer that the gas station is crooked, too. My husband and I brought my car in for a smog check. My husband, who is an industrial machinist and large vehicle mechanic, ran my car through his scanner prior to bringing it to the Smog Check. It scanned clean, no issues. It should have passed the Smog Check with no issues. Tony performed the smog check. My car failed the smog check. And, when my husband inquired why, Tony was evasive. When my husband pressed for more information, Tony became defensive and almost belligerent. There is absolutely no reason why my car shouldn't have passed the smog check. And when we brought it to a different smog check station, it PASSED without any issues. This facility is horrible and more than likely takes advantage of the fact that it is down the street from Leisure World. Do NOT bring your car here. Go anywhere else. read more

In March 2019 stopped at this station for gas. Went inside & purchased $40 worth of gas on my VISA card. Several days later I find 3 different charges from other gas stations with a grand total of about $70 worth of gas on each occurrence (all within 2 days of each other). I know it was this station that skimmed/scammed my card because this was a newly issued card & had not been used any charges. Call my bank issuer & alerted them to the fraud. I will not USE THIS STATION EVER AGAIN. Also the customer service absolutely sucks. The attendant as RUDE AS EVER. May the FLEAS of Allah's camels forever infest your armpits & other regions.!!!!! My husband and I recently took advantage of an ad in the Leisure World paper for an oil change here- it said "Under New Management", and to mention Bert. To make a long story short, we had such a great experience! The oil change was carried out with professional excellence, but we especially loved that Bert took the time to meet with and talk to us-- he was very kind and knowledgeable. We learned that he has been in the business for over 40 years, and takes genuine pride in the quality of his work. If you've sworn off the Seal Beach 76, give it another shot. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised :-) read more

76 card holders beware! OK, I rarely give one star. The offense must be quite heinous. I take my Caddi in to pump gas and ask for the receipt, and I realize I just got charged a credit card price (10 cents per gallon more) on my Phillips 76 gas card which, at every other 76 gas station in the area , is the same as cash. I complain to the attendant and he gave me a devil may care look and shrugged his shoulders. I informed him that I would never come back here. He was like, " fine!". However, at this time I will try to get as many 76 cardholders as I can not to come here. read more
