Anyway, we gave the benefit of the doubt so went there again the 2nd and 3rd time, same thing happened. On last one, after going in this gas station , we went to Costco and tried to get a gallon of gas first just to check if the line will move and if the miles go up and they did so that was the time we said we would never go to this gas station anymore. There was a small sign on the door that said there were no public bathrooms. Maybe I am old - but in my mind gas stations are known places to use the restroom - especially a known company like Chevron. I asked twice and was not allowed. The employee said she would get in trouble. She then directed me to the gas station (not a Chevron) across the street to use their bathrooms. My issue is not that my expectations of gas stations = bathrooms. My issue is that the sign should not be small and posted on only the door. There should be signs on the pumps so people like me can just get back in the car and go to another gas station. That would not have upset me. Spending ten bucks on gas I didn't NEED was frustrating. No manager was present for me to speak with. I called today (this happened yesterday) to tell the manager that they should post signs on the pumps. She said sorry as she would look into it and that she had to go as they had a lot of customers. Did she HANDLE it? Not sure, but she did apologize.

I called my bank to dispute the transaction and the customer service rep told me that Shell placed a hold on my account. That had never happened to me before, especially not at that specific gas station. I was instructed to either wait two business days to get my money back or go up there and demand it immediately. I went back up there of course. On my way there, I called 15 times and the store associate did not answer. When I got there, the store associate told me that he did not care about my issue and that he "really didn't give a f***" when I got my money back. The lady I was complaining about before is clearly gone, so that's a HUGE plus in itself. Since then, their improved Rocket and Jack in the Box quality in customer service and generally as a triple collective whole has surpassed my expectations through the years. I'm always greeted these days by their cool Asian manager guy and his amazing staff that constantly keeps the restrooms clean and every product intact like how every Chevron should be. I dig how they have such a variety of snacks like hot dogs, chip brands, candy, etc. too with some of my favorite energy drink go-tos these days. Outside, it always seems very clean swept and the gas pumps always look new! It's cool and crazy because they're literally right next to their competition: SHELL with no problems. They are the closest next to the 405 S., so once you drive out, you can go about your business heading to work, vacation, school, etc. IF you're not caught up by the random train.....; but that's not a big deal to me. But yeah.... Seriously.... GREAT JOB! You know I'm telling the truth because all you got to do is read my past review from 10 years ago in comparison to TODAY. I took it to my regular mechanic (who I was not completely sold on) and they told me I needed two parts that totaled 1600$. Being a broke graduate student, I thought I'd get a second opinion. I brought it to the Service Center; they ran tests on it and called me later that day, saying that it actually was NOT necessary to buy the parts right now since the light was coming on because of a dirty filter/converter. Dave told me to fill my gas tank up with premium gas every few fills and let the hotter gas burn some of the crud out (my words, not his). He said he definitely tries to save people money when he can, which is obviously appreciated. I try it and it absolutely works. Light goes off, these guys saved me 1600 bucks and have a new loyal customer.

The pumps here are some of the worst I've encountered--they rarely work properly, and getting a full tank of gas feels like a mini HIIT workout. I have to jiggle, shove, and practically dance around just to get the nozzle to cooperate. Honestly, this station really needs to fix the pumps--like, just get new pumps already! Until they do, if you want a stress-free refill, this isn't the gas station! So frustrating....
