For some reason my old car loves Vons has. A full tank runs longer and the engine doesn't shake as much. For newer cars you don't feel it but eventually with old cars, they get sensitive to the type of gas you put in. I guess it doesn't have all those additives that other gas companies mix in. Few lines and cheap gas. This gas station is a life saver. Gas prices here is reasonable, especially if you use your Vons card membership. (Sign up, inside the store) Even during the recession, this place managed to keep the price low for the locals. Making it one of my go to diesel supply. This place is a self serving gas station, its quick and painless. I have been to several gas station in town and majority of them has racked up the price. However, the quality of petrolium in this place is grade B, higher grade than what you get from ARCO. Its cheap and it last longer. I have been a loyal customer and I do not see the difference between the fuel performance of Vons gas station compared to Shell or Mobil. This place is definitely highly recommended, particularly for the price sensitive. Down side: The don't sell Lotto tickets in the booth. They are NOT open 24 hours. read more

I use my Von's card and try to save on premium gas. If you go to the cashier's booth, you can get snacks, drinks, or even gift cards. They even have stacks of store brand bottled waters that I purchase now and then to save me some time from having to buy some in the store. I've come here for gas several times and saved well by using my card. On another occasion, I only needed air for the tires and the cashier was courteous to turn on the air twice and I didn't need to insert quarters for just air only. By sweetie gets gasoline here quite often and he seems to often get the rewards savings. For the most part the service clerks are pleasant. A little paranoid about swiping my card through the machines since in the news card thefts were in the news for South Bay gas stations, something thieves scanning the machines so, I always go to the clerk in the window. They are open early at 6AM and close at 10PM daily. read more

LOW PRICE GAS!!! You don't need your Vons card or be a member. It's good gas and cheap. Not sure which brand but Vons is pretty good grocery. So I am assuming the gas is good. I wish I lived near here to get this kind of gas everyday. Cause in DTLA and Vegas it's so crazy expensive. I travel back and forth to LV to LA and I don't mind LV prices but LA gas prices suck. And when I saw this OMG love it. It is in a plaza of Vons, SBux, Hawaiian restaurants and more. The gass attendent was really nice. They even have deals of snacks (Von prices) awesome. Economical gas. Cheap gas to me connotes inferior. The gas is great and the price outstanding. My only problem is that the card reader often malfunctions and when you go to the attendant you can't just ask to fill up, you have to tell them how much you want. All the attendants that I have come across are alway polite and move the line quickly. I always come to this location to get gas when I do my grocery shopping. read more

Damn straight - this is the cheapest gas station in Gardena, and probably in all the South Bay (especially if you use your Vons/Pavillions rewards). Oh, I'm not counting that ARCO stuff that's called gas. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go GOOGLE that Shit. Open 7 days a week from 6am-10pm. Make a note of that because I came at 10:02pm last weekend and they sadly would not let me pump gas - and the next day gas shot up 6 cents! F me - my bad for assuming the world caters to my every whim. Attendants keep this place clean and moving efficiently. Morons keep the productivity down by driving in from the wrong side and cutting off people to pump gas because they don't know how to read or are too lazy to make a 2 second turn (my guess is both). p.s. the parking lot and traffic in this area is particularly awful from 7am-7pm...the masses from all walks of life seem to converge here and make a real clusterf#ck. read more
