This lady's service is terrible, and that's why I'll leave the video here, which speaks for itself. Her actions speak for themselves, and I'm thinking about hiring a lawyer to sue this woman for defamation and the corporation because the chemical stuck to my car's paint because the car wash machine, when it finished rinsing, which is the last step, didn't spray a single drop of water to remove the chemical. In short, I asked her if she could give me a ticket to get my truck back in, but her response was no. I asked for my $14 payment, and she said no. I told her to call her manager, and she told me to come when she was there. The problem is that this isn't the first time the machine has a problem. Every time I go, the problem has been because the machine dispenses soap twice, and sometimes the machine doesn't dispense any soap the first time, and sometimes it dispenses a little, and the second time it dispenses the normal amount of soap. And all I did was tell this lady to check the camera they have inside the carwash so she could see for herself that the carwash machine wasn't working because it didn't rinse the car on the last pass, and that's without telling her that the first time it didn't dispense soap, only the second time. Her conclusion is that she thinks I'm always complaining because I want a free carwash, when all I ask for is a ticket to take my car back in for a wash the same day, not to mention the fact that I'm wasting my time taking my car back in. I've been going to that gas station for almost two years now, and I always pay my $14 to get my car washed, and she's slandering me about wanting a free carwash every time I arrive. I don't have time to waste my energy like that, but today I took the time to leave this review and let the company's management know the type of service this woman offers. Even a witness who washed his car after me today, August 20th, 2025, told her that the machine didn't spray enough water to rinse the car. He told her that sometimes the machine also has a tendency to fail, but the lady at the register still didn't care. All she said was that I wanted a free carwash, lol. She even called the police, thinking she was going to harm me, and I told her, "I'll wait for them here." Thank God the police officer was professional and saw that I was calm and very polite. I explained to the officer that I'm paying for a service, and if the machine is giving me trouble, my duty is to tell the gas station staff that it's not working. The officer agreed with me. I thank God the officer saw in me that I just wanted what was fair, and I thank the gentleman who acted as a witness to tell that arrogant and unprofessional woman that the machine wasn't working. read more

This review is based on their drive thru car wash. My usual go-to for this is at the Shell located on Normandie and 190th. Well low and behold, they were closed. I remembered they had one here (I spotted it when I parked at Tokyo Central next door awhile back) and since I was gonna make a stop at that store anyway, it couldn't have been more convenient. So, off I went. There was a car pulling out as I arrived and another about the pull in so I got to watch the whole thing. I found it kinda cool there were no brushes involved: just straight up power washing. From what I saw, the car ahed of me came out clean! I chose the most basic ($8, because I was on a tight schedule and needed to be outta there ASAP.) I have a sunroof, so I got to watch the wash. I wasn't really impressed on my turn - the water just looked strong as an observer, but wasn't impressive while I was under it. No soap involved, which I get. I basically just got a rinse. But I figure as "strong" as he sprays were, it might just make a difference. It wasn't long before I got outta there and pulled up to Tokyo Central next door. And my car was not clean at all. It did rinse out probably a layer of dirt, but nothing a water hose can't do. The only semi-impressive thing here is that at least the dryer works. Yeah... one and done... Every time I go to this Chevron/Extra Mile location, there is an issue. Today I tried to buy a Lottery ticket but got yelled at, "SHIFT CHANGE!!" Apparently, no sales are being made at 2:00 PM in the afternoon on a Saturday due to a shift change. This is not the way to do business. If you pay for gas inside the store make sure to loudly, clearly and repeat a second time your pump number. A female employee there would select the wrong pump number and then blame it on you. Other time I tried paying with a large bill... same employee without knowing how much I was going to put greets me with a " I have no change". read more

I usually go here to buy some stuff before work and have never had an issue. The other day i was parked at the front and my friend was also parked next to me. The fat white cashier came out yelling at us saying we had to leave when we did nothing we were just sitting in our cars. She claimed that we couldn't be parked there and that we had to move for other costumers even though i had just bought something and it was 11PM and there was literally nobody else there. I went today and I guess I was doing too much at one time. I went to buy my gas this morning at the station and I noticed the person behind the counter it wasn't the regular person. The new cashier named Janet which handled my gas transaction. And I thought not to make an extra trip where I usually go for my lottery I would redeem my $19 in lottery scratchers there at the gas station. The new cashier Janet quoted me $19 in winning which I already knew the amount. I requested the same $1.00 scratchers but she placed the on the counter she kept counted them out by folding them back and forth on the counter. Then we got to talking.. But after getting home I discovered I was shorted $5 in lottery scratchers the same $1 scratchers I wanted.. I know I should have recounted the scratchers but I didn't I took for granted they could be trusted since they're new on the job. I always come here and buy snacks or gas, the person that help me today was very nice and helpful and she even explained questions I had from my snacks. But while is was parked and eating my snacks that just bought, an employee came to my door and raised her voice to me while I was eating and told me that if I was gonna leave now, I could not answer since I was eating and told her that I was just eating my snacks and I will soon leave, and that she was saying that she did not have the intention for me to choke with my food and she was laughing ver loud while saying it. This is a local gas station I come to every once in a while. When I don't have time to go to the car wash I usually frequent, I come here for their drive thru car wash. It's pretty cool, as it uses pressurized water dispensers rather than the old school wipers. I usually get the deluxe wash, which is $10, and includes undercarriage wash. The whole process takes less than five minutes, and I'm on my way. The convenience store has plenty of drink and snack selections for you to choose from. Their restrooms are clean, and customer service is on point. read more

The kiosk credit card reader is fixed! The wait for this car wash is still anywhere from 15-30 minutes in the afternoon. But, if you go in the morning or midday, you can get in within 5-10 minutes, if there's a wait at all. This car wash is more popular than the Chevron car wash down the street. I attribute that to this car wash having more options, accepting both credit cards and gas codes, and the car wash itself being pretty good. Expect the typical streaks here and there. This drive-thru car wash, like most others, is the way to go if you don't have the time to get a hand wax/wash. read more

My car was dusty, Gardner went over a few days ago so a little grass got on my windows, and water marks from the neighbors gardening system... I paid for the $12 wash thinking it should get it off, NOPE it did not as the pictures show. I was fu*king pissed because I went out of my way to come here. Came here late at night for a protein shake. Older gentleman was EXTREMELY rude. Right of the bat he annoyingly requested i show him what i wanted ; i showed him my screen through the window he motions to put the phone in the outside box and proceeds to try to yank my phone out of my hands. The cashier was very nice and helpful. I was even given a car wash stamp card. One star off for pump #4 not having the trigger to hold down the gas pump. This gas station is so convenient and you don't have to deal with Arco gas (there are two nearby). Unfortunately, the auto-machine at the pump asks you 5 questions before you can actually pump your gas. Ever since they got the new carwash, you don't get the awesome wash discount with gas. Boo. For some reason, I have issues with the machines here. Sometimes they freeze up and I have been here when ALL the card machines reset and all the people with transactions pending had to wait to get refunds. Annoying! Last month, a bunch of the premium gas pumps were out of order. For the prices they charge, they can fix their equipment! Be careful when inputting your credit card information at the pumps at this gas station. I've gotten identity theft twice after pumping gas at this station; you'd think I would learn my lesson the first time(no third times not the charm) dealing with the hassle of reporting credit card fraud. I suggest paying inside the store rather than risking getting your credit card information stolen or better yet pay in cash! Word of warning, be vigilant at any gas station, since skimming devices could be hidden inside the payment kiosk. I'll definitely only pay in cash if I ever go here again. read more

It's called Extra Mile Chevron now. I don't know when it was A & A Chevron. I every once in awhile use the car wash. I pay for the best one. Make sure your car antenna is lowered. Takes less than 5 minutes. If you fill up gas and decide on a car wash you get a discount on the fuel. I think it's around .10 cents cheaper. There is also a stamp card you can get from them, It's purchase 6 car washes get the 7th free, I always forget to get my card stamped. read more

I have been a loyal customer for years. Used their car wash too. One time I was with my husband who liked a drink I just bought so I bought one for him. At the register that heavy set tall cashier mumbled something and I thought she was saying do you want to buy that. So I paid and next thing I know is she stands in front of me and says you know there are no refills. I say I didn't buy a refill. She goes to her manager and then the manager looks briefly at her cameras and say there are no refills as if I was a thief. I showed the manager I had TWO cups and she asked me if I purchased both. I said yes. I I had paid that same heavy set woman for the first one too. First one was a regular one and second one was a large one so the PRICES were different. The manager after seeing I had 2 cups says I'm sorry and the heavy set lady says why did you LIE to me. So her mumble(?) was asking if that was a refill?? Too bad the damage is done. I knew the manager and I liked her but this time she did not do her job and chose to believe the cashier. I told the manager if she looked at the tape more she would have seen I bought TWO drinks. This was so upsetting because I never steal. I'm 60. Not going back to THAT gas station. I went into the Chevron to grab a few snacks for a road trip. The heavyweight lady in the front kept watching me as I picked out snacks. I got what I needed. As I am waiting for the customer in front of me to pay, I am holding my debit card and looking at the lottery scratchers. The lady that works there, Says with an attitude, "you cant pay for scratchers with that card" I was shocked. Why wouldn't I be able to pay for scratchers with my debit card? I just shook my head. And she says "you cant buy scratchers with that card". I look at her and shake my head with disbelief and tell her "no I just want these items". She has an attitude and asks if I need a bag. I used to love this place - convenient, easily accessible to all FWY's, and now it's a love/hate relationship. Those FW-1 wax salesman hawk every car that comes and goes, apparently it's overpriced and worthless. I know I'm coming off as a jerk. I'm not opposed to people needing to make money, but week after week they WILL make it a point to sell this junk to you. I just want to get my gas and go on about my day. The guys at the register are really nice every time I've come until tonight. One is funny the other is the sweetest guy ever. The funny guy unfortunately did not step up for the customer today and instead decided to go with what his coworker claimed was accurate which was far from the truth. Note: the customer is always right. I had to call the gas station from the car wash line because a chevron employee was outside holding up a line of 6 cars waiting to use the car wash by talking to his friend in a suburban at the front of the line for over 35 minutes. When the funny employee came out to check the employee chatting it up lied and said that another car was on the wash the whole time they were talking so the funny guy said oh ok then and walked back in. Tried to fill up gas here but my first attempt to swipe my card was declined, tried again and declined again. Walked into the store to pay at the counter and the attendant was an elderly man who was coughing all over my card (the same card that was declined at the pump) and paid $20 since I couldn't fill up. Following day; I received a notice from my credit card company saying that the station had charged me $100 on my card. Way more than I can even fill my tank with. Bad service, inconvenient, and definitely not coming back. terrible! Update: sure enough I contracted whatever the clerk had and severely ill. To keep my emission system happy, I was told to use Chevron gas so I have started going here for my fueling needs, and my truck does seem to run better. The Food Mart aka "Extra Mile" store is very well stocked and comes with the convenience you would expect from say... um... a convenience store with the associated price mark up. The car was is supposed to be the best you can buy.... puhleese!! If the wash actually used soap, it might, just might land in the "best buy" neighborhood, but right now, it just sucks. read more
