I was in dire need of gas and this Shell was reasonably priced. Pulled up and didn't want to get out of my car because the guys in the cars in front of me gave me unsafe vibes. So I pulled up to another pump only to be disappointed that the pump was functional. It had a weird thing on the screen that was illegible. I moved to another open pump on the other side and same thing. Can't you put a caution tape on the exterior so people don't waste their time driving up to each pump that doesn't work? never again. read more

This review is solely for their drive thru car wash only. With the pandemic on its continuous wrath, my full-service car wash shows no sign of reopening soon. This is the only place I know that has one of those drive-thru car wash things, so one day, as my car has gotten unbearably filthy, I finally came through to check it out. I immediately thought my eyes were deceiving me: $7 is their most expensive?! HELLS TO THE YES! Since there wasn't a wait, I was in and outta there in no time. (Opted for the $7 option) And the car did come out extra clean! The ONLY issue I had was that it didn't get blown dry for more than a few seconds. It may be because I may have moved too forward most likely tripping a sensor. (Here's hoping they make adjustments on this.) Otherwise, it was cool. Unless it's raining, it's looking like I'll be coming through at least once a month. read more

Located on the corner of 190th and Normandie Ave in Torrance supposedly one of the lower priced Shells around the Torrance area. They have a convenient store and car wash at this location the pumps are older and may need a touch up or replacements since the keypad is a little worn out and faded and the windows on the pump have scratches so it's even worse when the sun hits it. Overall for the cost not bad oh the pump I used didn't have receipt paper so I had to go inside for the receipt the lady working was very friendly, bubbly and nice which was a good thing for these types of stations with a convenient store. read more

I walked into the store, and the manager, Rey, greeted me with a big smile. I only bought three bottles of Coke and paid for them. Then, he told me that the Shell store had been changed name to a 7-Eleven store. And they have a reward program for the customers. The reward program gets points, and with the points, you can get free food & other discounts. Also, they offer to drive in through a carwash. A regular carwash costs only $7.00. The price is lower than other car wash places. The gasoline price is medium. I like this store because good customer service. And it is convenient. I can grab drinks and snacks and put in gas. Then, get a carwash too. read more

This is the worst gas station come here often and there pumps are always broken, even when they work you can't use your credit card at the pump you have to go inside which I hate, then the auto feature on nozzle doesn't work on like 3 pumps.. you have to sit there and hold it the whole time.. read more

Come here for the $5.00 car wash, pretty good and quick and only $5.00 bucks! The only tricky part is that you have to drive thru to get blow dried and theres a time that usually last a bit more than it says. Car still a bit wet, but I can dry it with my car towel or air dry it with my fast freeway driving. For $5.00 bucks it's a deal. Plus you can get some coffee or water or even buy some food, before you go in and eat while you wait for your wash to be finished. If you are concerned with the paying, you can pay for it inside the store. The 1 tier is the one that is $5.00. You can also use a card to pay at the machine at the entrance of the car wash. read more

I used to love their car wash. It was $7 and it actually washed my car with the rotating brush things. I went today and the rinse was lacking. My car was still covered with soap when the rinse ended. Horrible. The price went up $3 but they must've lowered the amount of water used. I understand we're in a drought but if the wash leaves soap on the car that's actually worse than having a little dust on it. It was $10 on my last wash but at least it still cleaned the car. read more

Please, do not get your gas here! I went there today towards 6PM with $50 to fill up my tank since I was almost completely out of gas. I walk up to the door and it's locked. I thought it must be because of something to do with the products, so I went around and the other door was locked as well. I looked inside and an employee was sitting there doing nothing. So, this place gets a 4 star from me for a few simple reasons. This is the best quality gas for the lowest price in the area, and whenever I go it is not busy. I am always able to find a pump. I've never been accosted by anyone here or felt scared, and I've been here in the middle of the night and the wee hours of the morning. A warning on the touchy car wash. I like this gas station despite its ahem, varying levels of ghetto-ness. There could be random people coming up asking for money, there could be all out fights, it keeps things interesting (but it's not like I'm ever fearful of my life here). Plus, it's conveniently located to the freeway, it's reasonably price name-brand gas and there's an affordable automatic carwash starting at $6 for the economy wash. And, unlike some places, it's not always broken or out of order - I don't think I've ever seen it not working. They seem to try to keep there gas price lower than other. Always have some sort of deal going on. $1.00 dollar drinks, any size. The station is always clean. The water to clean your windshield is always clean with cleaner additive in it. read more

They have a sign that you can barely see and the car wash is cheaper if you go inside, but you can't see it until you are lined up for the car wash. No cash at the register? I had to get gas before work this morning so I stopped the Shell on the way. With only a $100 bill I decided to buy some cigarettes as well, knowing that I'll need them for work today. But the worker told me that they dont have change right now so they canceled my transaction. She told me I can wait until they have any. They couldn't give $26 for change? How is a cash register still running with no cash??? Then I asked her how much change she had. Because i can just buy a drink so I can get my change. She said "We only have a $20 bill and a bunch of $1 bills. You can use a debit card but no. No change." So i got fed up and left with no gas and no cigarettes but no without hearing "pshh..kids.." ......a $20 and a bunch of $1s equals to my change. Not helpful at all. Also. Just because I look young and on the short side. Doesn't mean they can treat me like a delinquent child. I was calm and respectful. Since my last review, Shell Oil's corporate offices got involved, and the station's manager was in contact. The manager not only refunded the money in question with the receipt, but also comped a $9 wash. She was very apologetic and professional, unlike her employee who caused the original incident. (This review is for the carwash) DONT USE THE CAR WASH IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR!! Went through this car wash on 3/30/14 with my Ford F -150. Ended up with about 3 dozen scratches and chips on my hood. The scratches are about 3 inches long every 1 inch or so on the hood of my car, and this goes on for two feet. I followed all necessary instructions for driving a truck through. I ended up with about $100 of scratch repairs from a $7 carwash. To make things worse, at the start I asked for a receipt from the machine and it prompted me to retrieve receipt from attendant inside. The attendant inside said if the machine didn't give me a receipt then I was out of luck. I guess there's pretty much nothing I can do now. read more

I have only one concern EMILIO you need to be retrained. do you know whats costumer service?... you cant use the phone, eat, and take costumers at the same time. I entered this business to purchase some gas at 1:00 p.m. on 11/14/18. When I exited my vehicle I was approached by a slovenly vagrant that was apparently living in a squalid vagrant camp right next to, and in plain sight of the gas station. This vagrant began pressing me for a cash handout, when I refused, he became so aggressive that I had no other choice than to get back in my vehicle and leave. If the management of this station doesn't want to lose local patronage, they should contact and urge local law enforcement to remedy this unfortunate situation. I used their car wash and the dryer fan cut off before I could dive through it. leaving my car totally wet. When i went to the cashier to let them know about the issue, the rudely told me that they can refund me $1 or i could put my card back in line at the car wash and they would turn on the air so that my car could get dried. I told them that if i got back in line my car would be dried with water spots all over it by the time i get back to the car wash. Bad customer service skills. read more
