    Russell Fischer Car Wash

Sometimes we absolutely need personal assistance- & I did with the R. Fischer Car Wash website!…read moreThe choices & selections are not clear, & Michele at the corporate office helped me figure it out. Armando, the manager at the Huntington Harbour site made everything happen on site. Between them, I'll now be loyal to this car wash company, as they do beautiful work cleaning cars, but also provide the caring human side. Thank you Armando & Michelle!

Russell Fisher Car Wash is an abysmal establishment. Avoid it at all costs, especially women. Men,…read moreif you care about your partners and absolutely must go there, accompany them and keep a close eye on the so-called manager, Michael. He embodies arrogance, misogyny and dismissiveness. Also, If your partner interacts with Mark (who oversees the entrance), and requests that they not touch the car's light settings, he will likely sneer at her, roll his eyes and then brush her off with a condescending remark such as "no one messes with the light settings" (but yet they do, every single time). If she seeks help from Michael, he will actually tell her that she "needs to get over it, it's a car wash", turn his back and start a conversation with someone else, and then walk away-but not before he says to her "if you don't like it then leave". This is unacceptable behavior and yet it is what I experienced. When I went home and told my Husband about this, he took the truck in to wash and see what was going on. I identified Mark as the same individual who caused problems for me earlier and my husband instructed him not to alter the light settings to see what he would do. Mark's response? A simple "no problem, man." My husband then sought Michael, who was supposed to be there but could not be found, likely he hid in the bathroom. We pay nearly $1,700 annually for an unlimited membership, yet we are treated poorly. While they may clean the interior, there's no excuse for changing light settings. It takes a lot to change them, so I don't understand how they always manage do it. Maybe I'm being particular, but as paying customers, we deserve respect. No one should endure such vile attitude from employees either, especially not for something as trivial as a request to not mess with light switches. I understand that they need to wipe them- fine, but when I ask them to simply be cognizant of changing them and get hammered- that's just BS. I hand-delivered a letter regarding the attitudes of both Michael and Mark to the corporate office but to date, have received zero response. If they've treated me this way, it's clear they've done the same to women. This behavior is systemic, not isolated I'm sure. On the physical side, they mishandle buttons and light settings, fail to clean cupholders properly, use rags that leave a mildew smell, and require a 30-day written notice to cancel memberships. I'd been fair and polite in my requests, yet received no acknowledgment. The only positives at this establishment are one young cashier, who was genuinely nice, and Thrifty ice cream, but these do not compensate for the unacceptable behavior of the "manager" and other staff. Do not patronize this car wash. They do not deserve your business or your money. We certainly won't be returning. They claim to support Firefighters and PD, but my husband, an LACoFF, thinks they clearly don't give a crap. See ya, Russell Fisher. Two major thumbs down.

7-Eleven - That's the dude that has too many coins. Really annoyed me and they lost business because he said no to money.

Can we talk about 7-Eleven coffee for a sec bc WHAT is going on…read more Some locations got the carafes like they're fancy. Others just brew a kiddie pool of coffee and dump it in a giant thermos to rot. Pick a struggle. So I pull up and the coffee is giving _iced coffee without the ice_ + bitter. Asked the employee if they could brew fresh and I stood there like an FBI agent watching the whole operation. Bro goes to the machine, does some button magic, grabs the thermos, gives it a lil hip bump, and walks away. Sir. SIR. Are we not gonna dump the crusty old coffee first??? There's def a cold coffee graveyard at the bottom of that thermos and you just poured hot coffee on top like it's a layered latte I was shook. Suddenly questioning every life choice that led me to 7-Eleven at 8am. BUT plot twist: thank GOD 7-Eleven isn't the only coffee dealer anymore bc his laziness sent me straight to Extra Mile down the street. And bestie... they got this new machine that's actually fire. 7-Eleven fumbled so hard I found an upgrade. Rating: 1/10 Coffee was a war crime, thermos hygiene is not a thing, and the hip-bump refill lives in my nightmares. Extra Mile clears.
