This is my favorite neighborhood pit stop. The main reason I go is to get an icy cold, deliciously carbonated, inexpensive, giant Polar Pop!! Man it hits the spot every time. AND it stays cold and fresh for a long while. They also sell chicken. Yep, a gas station that sells fried chicken??! Believe or not, it's bomb! Often times there is quite a line waiting for it to come out fresh and hot! Another thing they carry is Thrify's Ice Cream. Mmmm THE best!! I always forget about it until I see it but one of these days I'll get some there. The employees are always super nice and welcoming. Interesting experience. These individuals that work here seem to have ignored the mask mandate even during the pandemic according to another comment here. Well, I was asked twice (today in a confrontational tone by a woman working behind the counter) to "take your mask off while inside the store". The 1st time (a couple of days ago) the conversation was odd but I thought nothing of it because I decided to not wait the 25 minutes they stated for the chicken from Krispy Krunchy Chicken. When asked that time, I said I would wait outside (they initially said 5 minutes, and I said I would wait outside) as opposed to appeasing them and removing my mask inside. The interesting thing about that is the lady then seemed a bit more pressed about getting me to take my mask off as opposed to being ok with me waiting outside for the food, but that changed when they said 25 minutes. Today (around 1:00 pm) - a white lady who was likely in her 60's was inside and she had on the same mask I did. A black KN95. She left not long after I entered, yet before I saw her, remembered the request to take the mask off. I actually thought about it - yet when I saw her that thought went out the window. Now mind you. I wear this mask at work as well. I go there for the chicken, yet they had none (again), and I decided to leave (I work for a local government agency and was on lunch). As I perused the chips wondering if I wanted to grab something before heading back to the office, I hear a voice "SIR! TAKE OFF YOUR MASK WHEN INSIDE PLEASE". I immediately ask why she didn't ask the white lady with the same mask on just a few minutes ago and she left without issue. The worker seems a tad bit caught off guard and says "If I would have seen her I would have". I said the store is about as big as my thumb, it's impossible that you missed that. I would not oblige and said "I doubt you're telling the truth". SN - for the store that may read this, yes, this is the black guy with the black mask that drove off in the Grey Tesla model S (that you watched me enter into and drive off as you looked from your store window) I never acted upon it but I've only been to this location a handful of times and the employees (all of them) give me this Trump, MAGA, NASCAR vibe. Today seemed to confirm my intuition. I spent my money elsewhere, and get this, lol, they didn't tell me to remove my mask. I've never seen this happen to anyone, anywhere. Eventhough the PHE is winding down, some (including myself) will continue to wear masks, especially when I see fit. read more

However, while most of the clerks are nice and friendly, the younger clerks are vey unfriendly and are not welcoming. The "older " clerks are the complete opposite. I was in last week to get propane. There are signs on the door indicating, as they should, that employees were wearing masks to protect customers and that in accordance with County and City regulations, customers were required to wear face covering as well. Apparently, nobody explained to the employees that wearing a face covering did not mean either (1) wearing a mask on your chin, or (2) having a bandana draped string your neck when you accompany a customers outside to the propane fill. But man was I wrong, at least for Krispy Krunchy Chicken located inside this Circle K. Kristin approached me & asked if I would try a sample. I hesitated, not wanting to come off rude. She told me to give it a chance & just try a bite. I agreed and I was pleasantly surprised. Light, airy, krispy goodness for a low price. Quick & easy. Circle K also has regular gas station snacks, cold brew, iced coffee, polar pop machines. Clean bathrooms and regular priced gas. read more

Circle k in Long Beach. This gas station is a one stop location. Here you can get just anbkout all that you would need. Can play lotto. Or get a cold brew and has a polar pop stop. Also if your hungry plenty of hot food here. Plenty of deals here. Also so when you shop here you can get points for everything that you buy. So that is a bounse here. Restroom is very clean. First time stopping here since rebuild abd as I Was there watched as the man working the fried chicken and ice cream portion keep leaving behind counter going into back room going out into store opening hot box area in store and never once washed his hands. All while handling and touching food Store does not participate in the circle k promotion so they are just using the circle k name I guess. Stay away and use the one on los coyotes and spring. Three strikes you're out! First time I walked my dog to get some sodas no diet but I still bought drinks but they had No Bags so I had to carry everything home in my arms. Second time still no diet soda of any type and no soda water so I left. This is my FAVORITE place for fast KRISPY KRUNCHY CHICKEN. Injected with mild Cajun Seasonings and very KRISPY KRUNCHY! Christina made me a batch today and recommended the BLUEBERRY BISCUITS over the regular. They are the bomb almost a donut. Kristen was so sweet and helpful, she offered me a sample of the chicken tenders she just made and they were so juicy and crispy I couldn't pass them up. Amazing chicken and I would've never expected gas station chicken to be so good! She also informed me that they have mash potatoes & gravy and Mac & cheese ! Staff at this location is amazing! I was in a car accident at the intersection closest to this location. Staff came out to see if I was okay, and call me a tow truck! Kate was especially amazing. She was very caring and concerned and even brought me a bottle of water. I hope that her employers recognize what an asset that she is to them! All polar pops are one price 89 cents or 98 cents with tax! There are plenty to choose from even a icee or orange whip drink. Always greeted with a hello and the place is clean. The chicken is awesome but the chicken tenders are beyond awesome at least the spicy ones. I like the Mac-n-cheese, potato wedges & mashed potatoes I was told to try the jambalaya, their version is not like a stew its more of a extra dirty rice with sausage, that being said it was great I'll definitely order that again! I am so sorry to report this Circle K has the worst customer service!!! I went in to get a ice coffee my sis in Arizona recommend. The sign with sizes was up n it clearly listed large but there were no large cups. I asked an employee and the manager she said that's the only size we carry once again. I said can I get another bigger zise from like smoothie or sodas and I will pay the difference. I just wanted a big size... No no no was all I heard and eventually felt ignored You would think I was asking for a kidney. Why couldn't just let me get a bigger cup n charge me difference. So I just finally just said make sure you change the sign that listed sizes if you don't carry them. I was heated I really had so much to say but I didn't want my ghetto ass to come out. read more
