As seems to be common at most of the gas stations that participate in this grocery store promotion, including this Shell ststion, their gas prices are up to 20 cents a gallon higher than some other nearby gas stations that do not. So in the end some of the benefits to consumers are negated by the higher prices. I'd personally rather cash in my flexible reward points on future grocery purchases instead of on gas purchases.

When I went inside, I saw they had Peach AND Watermelon, and if there's anything I love that's fake, it's knock-off Sam's Choice Diet Cola, and fake watermelon flavor. I couldn't decide, and they were 2 for $6 so I bought both. Once in my hotel room a few miles away, I cracked open the peach and it was delicious. Like any "seltzer" product, it could have used more flavor, but I enjoyed it. Same with the watermelon. It was great but needed a bit of a punch to it. These Sheetz products helped me get some good Zzzzzzz's that night for sure. That's what they do, though!

There's a lot of traffic from shopping centers and residential areas at the nearby four-way traffic light. Once at the Sheetz, it's also crowded in the immediate vicinity with traffic going and parking for both Sheetz and a McDonald's. Once inside, we found that coffee refills were more expensive than they had been in Pennsylvania. Worse, the shop was very small, and didn't have an area in which to sit. Restroom was clean. Upon leaving, and after filling our gas tank, we noticed that the older Exxon station across the street had cheaper gas ($3.54 vs. $3.51/gallon, late March, 2024). One positive point. The cashier was very attentive and friendly.

Unrealistic expectations…read more I called for a state inspection and the mechanic who answered the phone said I have to be there no later than 7:30AM. He said anything after that time is a drop off. So if you get there by 7:45 in the morning, they will keep your car the entire day. There are a bunch of other places around with better customer service than this. Given the amount of negative reviews, I'm convinced the only positive reviews are from his family members or friends but not real customers.
