I love checking out food trucks, don't see them as often as I used to but given the chance I'll get…read moresomething off of one. I came across beach bum at Indiana city brewing during the 4th of July celebration. You have to start with beer, and I had something delicious and new to me. The Apple ale. There was a good amount of activity outside so I went to check out the dj and the bags games because this is Indiana. After contemplation I finally pulled the trigger and went and ordered off the truck. The menu is impressive! Plenty of options, but what stuck out to me was the lobster tacos! Oh lord they were delicious, the lobster was delicious and not skinny. Flour tortillas, and a juicy pico with a creamy sauce that all around was awesome. Hate to admit gluttony in writing but I wolfed down the tacos and hope I see this truck again soon '

I've been following this place on social media ever since bookmarking them on Yelp. But because I…read morelive outside Indy, my schedule never had me in the right part of town on the right date. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to catch up with them at a Milkshake IPA party at Guggman Haus where BBBq was providing the food. So glad I did! The folks in the truck were cranking out the sandwiches quickly. I ordered the Chopped Brisket and the Ric Flair Sandwich. The sandwiches aren't cheap, but they don't taste cheap either. The brisket was not shredded, but somehow the large chunks of juicy (with a hint of char) beef mostly stayed inside the bun. The flavor? Excellent. They also have four kinds of BBQ sauce to add (a hot sauce, a sweet, a Carolina mustard, and a mango.) The meat has a lot of flavor on its own, but dialing it in with the sauces can really take it to another level. The Ric Flair was a pulled pork sandwich topped with a creamy, yet tangy coleslaw and sliced pickles. I have to admit that this one is messy. The thickly loaded sandwich is challenging to keep together and you may end up wearing a bit if you aren't careful. But the flavor? Again, it was delicious. Be sure to grab lots of napkins and possibly a fork because I am certain there will be some tasty bits that spill out onto the paper tray the sandwich is served in. Excellent food. Friendly and quick service. And I found out that they are getting close to opening their brick and mortar store in Washington Square Mall in the Fall of 2019. They will be on the northwest side of the mall building. I am glad I finally found a time and location for meeting up with this food truck. I am looking forward to the new stationary spot to open. EMT Foodtruck - Love the fries I got there a while back. And any of their chipotle sauces are to die for.

SUPER local food truck and proud of it! I bookmarked their page a while back, and it's actually…read morequite interesting. I'm not vegan or vegetarian in the least, but I've bought my lunch from them on more than one occasion. And it was good for that. Fortunately for me, I worked on campus, so when I got out of class, I'd make a short detour to where it was parked next to RAWL (one of their stops at the time), and pick up up something to eat. At that time, it tended to be the the grilled cheese and tater tots. Actually, it's hard for me to write anything about their food because they're so good about changing up their menu and having new things. They're really big on creativity and using local ingredients. For example, they got a boatload of millet sometime back and start asking around what people thought they should make from it to sell. Said webpage will also tell you their schedule, menus, and whatnot. Overall, it's typically American comfort food, but I've seen items with the occasional Mexican or Italian or Greek influence. Great prices, fun, and carefully thought out dishes. Prepare yourself to wait for a bit after ordering. Staff are super friendly and open about any questions you have about the food. In general, they tend to be very responsive about feedback and ideas you may have. Mostly though, VIEW THEIR WEBSITE (as provided above). They provide the menu for each event on Facebook, announce special events and where they're going to be on Twitter, and their website (emtfoodtruck.com) has a calendar summarizing where they'll be and what kind of weather that day will be having. Speaking as someone who had dropped by one day without realizing that it was going to rain? This is very convenient. Like a number of noteworthy local restaurants, there are a number of local food trucks that you'll find at pretty much every big local event (festivals and such). This is one of them. If they're in your area, I'd highly recommend you to try it at least once.

The Mac n cheese bites were amazing though! The fries we ordered were ok but it did not have any garlic-pepper seasoning. I LOVE LA POBLANA! If you don't listen to any of my reviews, please listen to this one. Not only is…read moreLa Poblana my favorite food truck, but I would argue that it is one of my favorite mexican spots I've ever been to. First, the food is absolutely amazing. I've visited La Poblana more times than I can count, so I've tried almost everything on the menu. Tacos, Quesadillas, Burritos, they have it all. This visit, I ordered the Chicken Burrito with a side of chips and guacamole. The burrito was incredible. La Poblana does an incredible job of balancing out each ingredient. There's never too much of each ingredient. It's always just right. The guacamole is so flavorful and tastes amazing with anything you could possibly buy. One of my favorite things about La Poblana is that you get to pick what salsa you want with your meal. I always get a side of both the mild green salsa as well as the spicy red salsa. Both of them are delicious compliments to your meal. Finally, you will never have better customer service. The people who run the La Poblana truck are so incredibly friendly and kind. Every single time I order, I am greeted with a huge smile, and they take such pride in serving their delicious food. If you are in the Bloomington, Indiana area, go check out this truck. I promise you, you will not regret it. God Bless America and God Bless Food! Your friend, Dan Hanis
