There are 3 staff that work at the Brant Street location and all of them are terrific, if you haven't experienced this store before check it out on a Friday which is the day when you get free dog treats if you bring your dog into the location with NO PURCHASE necessary. Be warned the prices on much of the products in the store are rather expensive but that is because the quality of the product is above what you will find at most locations however there are several decent products to buy which are rather cheap such as their individual cookies, pig ears and raw or baked marrow bones which are three of my dogs favorite treats. They also price match, once confirmed they will match the price of a competitor for identical items. This location also offers a full self-washing facility complete with a locking door and locking gate for their tub which is large enough to accommodate several hundred pounds of dog (it makes me 102 pound lab look small). Do yourself a favor and experience what Mike and others have to offer at this location and I'm sure you'll keep coming back specifically to say hello to them and just be in a friendly environment.

The lady saw us admiring the cow toy and let us know that it also came in a sheep as well. They have an extensive selection of premium dog food in dry, wet, and raw food forms! Almost the entire back of the store is a refrigerated case. There are prepared foods that are cooked and uncooked ones. They had bags of just individual parts so you can mix and match, like quail eggs and chicken feet. Everything looked really clean, moreso than most grocery stores lol. They also have a case of really nicely iced baked goods. Some are birthday and some are just for the season. There were summer ones including really cute squirrels and crabs, almost like the really nice iced cookies you see at Starbucks! They also had other doggy party supplies like hats, bandanas, and bow ties with cute prints.

It was always a great deal at only 10.00, shampoo and conditioner in the sprayer, dog brushes, dog scrubbers to help wash, 2 towels and an apron for you. Loved it, Today I go there and find the price doubled to 20.00. I thought ok, it was still a good deal to me, much easier then at home. I paid the price and was given 2 towels, they did not have any aprons, hmmm ok fine no worries. I them get to the tub, it was not very clean, there was no brush or scrubber and you had to use a pump shampoo because they had no shampoo and conditioner for the hose machine. Now I know these are first world problems but really double the price and no supplies anymore hmmm I'm not happy and don't think I will be returning even to have my dog groomed there.

The bully sticks we found as met with huge approval tails are going strong three hours later. Brian is lovely so kind and helpful. My dog is friendly but I have worked hard to have her ignore other dogs while she is on leash. This is very difficult when at each isle one dog approaches from the front and the other from the back. Today I used spacial pressure and said "go" to the hound type dog which resulted in the dog bearing its teeth at me. The store dogs should at a minimum be taught to "place" behind the counter when people prefer not to be followed around the store. I will not be returning

She raised both my birds from when they were young and still needed to be handfed, so they both came to me very tame. She also supported me when I had questions afterwards about bird behavior troubleshooting and such. I can tell she cares very much about all her animals even after sale. I can't recommend this store enough because having someone knowledgeable to help as a new owner is extremely valuable. And when they're "too hot in the reptile room they grow wings and fly some of them". Like huh?? SoI try to explain I'm very experienced here - I'm retired but used to be very big in the reptile industry and bred thousands of my own fruit flies - and said I'm sorry but you're wrong. flightless HYdei HAVE wings and are genetically predisposed to not flying. It's a GENE. I told her yours are tainted with regular flying fruit Flies. Her answer - I'm not going to argue with you, you can just give them back. Then she repeats the same answer of why I have "some" flying around. They're ALL flying. I explained the gas would be more to drive there and return them, that I was now more concerned over the bad info she was pushing considering. She repeated the same untrue info on flightless fruit fly genetics. ?? Then she kept adding I'm not going to argue. My only concern for posting this is - what else do these workers push as qualified knowledgeable info to customers that is completely wrong??
