Clearly, she isn't with ours and the hours of aggressive raking during their baths and knife stripping thereafter broke my dogs' skin and they were in severe discomfort for weeks. After advising the owner and sending pics, she apologized and gave me a bottle of wound wash. She refused to give me a refund despite even having to take my dogs to the vet! The cost for this butcher of a job was $400+ vet bills. As a student, I was verbally abused regularly, it's a culture this establishment promotes at all their locations. I was paying thousands of dollars to walk on egg shells and finally had to walk out to get away from the abuse once and for all. One day prior to the course ending! I simply couldn't take anymore from Leslie. She's a fake, mean, old, sharp tongued lady who is hurtful and fixated on demeaning people, not teaching them. Aside from that, the curriculum was not delivered as outlined! I have to start my schooling from scratch at another school and of course, kiss the money I spent here goodbye. The owner will never admit to being wrong and refund a customer their good money. This place is a scam. I thought Leslie was one of the best in the business and was excited to learn from her. Boy was i wrong! Go to places that are honest in their pricing and services and where your precious pets can be trusted. Not here. I wish someone had told me this before I got involved with this money grab.

Eggie has been our families groomer for about 10 or more years now...Shes an absolute top end…read morestylist and I've resorted to trying other groomers only because she is a little on the expensive side ....Not one groomer can match Eggie's talents...my Wheaton comes out sloppy and choppy so now I only deal with Pampered Paws Port Credit...She doesn't have a bunch of dogs in the salon...my dogs not stuck at the groomers for a day...I drop him off and return 2 to 3 hours later to a perfect cut...grows out beautifully...shes a true professional and been in business in Port Credit for years....

Brenda is super friendly and professional. I brought a English Massive and Golden Retriever. Both were treated perfectly and warmly. My dogs love her! And the last few places I tried they were not happy. Here they love going and are so excited to see her. I couldn't ask for a better groomer. She washes them with great care, using one shampoo on the body and another on their face. Blow dries them well and the hair cuts are on point. I highly recommend coming here for some puppy TLC, they will be super happy and so will you.

I went there to get my Yorkie groomed a few days ago. The front desk area wasn't the cleanest. I…read morementioned I'd like a short Yorkie cut without him looking like a rat. I was informed it would be about an hour to an hour and a half. Brenda said she would call when she was done. After an hour and a half, I called and a co-op student answered the phone. When following up on Ramses she informed me it would be another 45 mins as they were swamped. When I showed up I noticed my dogs cut was extremely short and he was screaming to high heavens. As I was waiting to pay there was a poodle hanging around. Blaming him for agitating my dog, Brenda proceeded to grab a chunk of its neck and yank him towards the back! Since I was already running 45mins late I paid and left quickly. It was $55 plus tax and I added a 15% tip. When I got home I looked Ramses over and was horrifed. It looked like a super quickie job with a trimmer and then again chopped all over with a scissors. The cut is so short in places you can see his bare skin. He can't stop squinting his eyes as all his hair around them has been shaved off. Some parts are longer than others and it looks like he was nipped in a few places too. I dread to think what else he was put through this, no wonder he was screaming when I got there. I would normally give someone a second chance but judging from the other more positive reviews, it seems like they just tried to take as many appointments as they could, knew it was a really bad job and hoped I wouldn't notice. Very very disappointed, angry and sad my little 4lbs pup had to go through go this.

We have spent thousands of dollars at this business over the years. Our issue with Eastside started a few days ago when we took our current cat to get her nails trimmed, her first time in for that service. The work was done, the animal was returned to us and lady who did the work informed us that she had noticed on our file that this cat was not up to date with her rabies shot and because of that we would not be able to bring her back for future services until that had been updated. The fee for this shot is apparently over $200 with the tax as the vet has to "examine" her before a shot can be administered so that exam fee inflates the cost. We had this same cat in for treatment twice within the prior 6 weeks and this had never been mentioned and had not prevented her treatment so we asked why the change in policy. She advised us that "its the law". The City of Hamilton Ontario had passed a by-law some 6 years ago requiring rabies shots for all domestic pets, even indoor cats like ours. So we asked why this is now an issue given our recent history. The answer (from the front desk person on duty) was that they had only started enforcing that by-law about 2 1/2 months ago. But remember we had been there after that and nothing was said. So very upsetting and very poor customer service. I'm sure the information could have been delivered differently given our long history with this clinic. We will of course be looking for another clinic to look after our pet. My sense is that the people in charge will not really care about the loss of our business or our dissapointment with how it all ended. This is a very large corporation and individual complaints will not affect their bottom line.

I called you back and got your voice mail and I left a message confirming that 4 p.m. was acceptable. We went to all the trouble of preparing Sylvester (our cat) and driving to your location on Thursday only to have you deny that you had our message of confirmation. In this case it is two strikes and you are out. We will never use your horrible service again and have opted for a mobile service.
