Most people don't think I'd Sheetz's to eat out but it usually is great for take out on the run. I ordered curly fries for the first time and last. I get that you have to have portion control but if the product falls 2 inches below the lip of the FF cup, then get smaller cups. I felt ripped off so o won't order them again. Over all, the fries were warm and had a milder flavor than the Arby's Curly fries. I got a wrap. It was ok but again if I wanted to pay Chipotle prices, I won't go to the bank-take out a loan- and go there to eat. The time it took to get my food was ok, enough time to go to the bathroom, get ice and soda, some candy, pay for it and then still have 10 minutes to wait for my food. We stopped by only to get gas during the "supposed" gas shortage. They didn't have a shortage at all. Their lot wasn't busy either. The cost of gas was average. When going inside, masks are required. Barbecue makes me thirsty and just that one beer wasn't going to be enough. I stopped in to this Sheetz and checked over their beverages options. The store is clean, well lit and they have a large selection of drinks as well as snacks, candy and their made-to-order sandwiches and such. Two bottles of water on a two-for-one deal was my option today and while there was a short queue to pay (it's like everyone walked in at the same time), that's not the fault of the polite and helpful young man who was doing really well at getting customers through this line. I'd probably pass on a return visit to this Sheetz after almost chipping a tooth on a breakfast shmagel (also known as a bagel). This location was en-route to the office and I wanted a break from daily Wawa, so I ordered via their website. By doing so, my food was said to be ready within 15 minutes -- and that's exactly how long it'd take me to drive there. Perfect, right? I walked in and went back to the MTO area, but no one was there and signs pointed to the front cashier. So I walked up to him, and, sure enough, my food was ready to go. My coffee was half full so I could customize it. The purchase was easy; service was friendly. But then I got to work, snapped photos of the breakfast bagel, and attempted to eat it. And that's when it went downhill. I then tried to eat just the innards but the egg patty managed to taste stale (???) and the bacon was rubbery/chewy and I felt like I was going to choke on it. I'd have to say this ranks as my weirdest experience with a bagel to date. Lunch went a bit better -- I ordered the half club sub on Italian herb bread, which was fortunately not stale. But the whole sandwich was also fairly mediocre. I must've ordered the wrong thing because I've definitely had MTO food from other Sheetz locations in the past that I've enjoyed. Based on my experience, I'd say they need better quality control. This Sheetz location is located just under a mile from I-64. It was relatively easy to get to, though can be slow to navigate to during rush hour. The inside was very clean and the bathrooms were well kept- they are also fairly large which is a plus. The made to order food was pretty good. Mix of fried appetizers, freshly made sandwiches and a specialty coffee bar that has some great latte's (the breakfast sandwiches are delicious by the way!)They are somewhat expensive, but that's the price you pay for anytime fresh quality. They also have a walk in beer cave if you need to pick up anything after work or on your way to a fun get together. My only complaint is that the employees were excessively talking to each other at the register instead of taking care of customers which caused the line to stay long unnecessarily read more

Getting gas is secondary at this place. Everyone and I mean everyone comes out for the food. Nighttime at Sheetz was an adventure with the broad menu of tasty late night grease spot goodies, like fried cheese curds, tater tots, and chicken bites. I have ordered food from that Sheetz twice both times they have messed up my orders the managers there are rude on the phone and do not want to make a it better.. I ordered a cheeseburger and cheese bites my cheese bites were not filled there was only 10 in there when there should have been more in there I also got a cheeseburger from there it tasted like dog meat it was dry rotted it didn't taste right spoke to a manager on the phone who is very rude and told me that there's nothing that they can do well I'm going to end up calling corporate make a complaint and get a refund I will never return to that Sheetz again I will not have any dealings with them at all the customer service is horrible there and so is the food service.. read more

so I went to Sheetz today to buy lunch and if I could give a zero star review I would I have never in my life paid almost 3 dollars for curly fries and look in the bag and literally it is only five curly fries. I usually stop at this Sheetz location because of its convenient access if traveling East bound on West Broad Street. Even if you are traveling West bound, you can easily turn onto a side street that has an entrance to Sheetz on it. The convenience store is always busy and has everything you'd expect plus a pretty good variety of hot food items. They basically have two different areas for gas pumps which means that it is never hard to find a vacant gas pump. There is also an air pump for tires, a vaccuum and a car wash. read more

All things things that I like of the ones back home you find here too - the MTO sandwiches and gas prices that are lower than most. Only disadvantage of a VA location vs a NC one is that VA does not use the "My Sheetz" card promotion, so you are not saving $ .03/gallon on gas for any of the card discounts on food as available in NC. read more

Sheetz is for Low Cost Fuel for your Truck/Auto. Yes, they have a place to order a variety of sandwiches either hot or cold, but they are are gourmet by any means. This includes Pizza as well. If you are looking for something on the Go to eat, than Sheetz is the place to order. The other night, on the way home, I was hungry and did not want to dine in anywhere, so I stopped at Sheetz. I made a quick Sandwich to order and they put lots of whatever you want on the sandwich. I ordered a large sandwich and only could eat half of it as it was huge. The people in there are very friendly and cannot be any nicer. So, do not expect Gourmet food, but "GO" food. It is Fresh and not bad. The prices are reasonable as well.... In regards to the Gas they sell... it is lower than most stations, however you just have to look around. They have LOTS of pumps, so if you have to wait... it will not be long. After seeing all the commercials about Sheetz food, I decided I HAD to go in for the kill. After filling up on their cheap gas (about 30 cents cheaper than Raleigh), my boyfriend and I ventured inside for some grub. We entered in through the side door, and unfortunately ran into the check-out area line -- which made for trying to bypass the waiting customers a little nerve-wracking. Once we slid by, we were met with a PLETHORA of food. It was overwhelmingly good! I excitedly ran up to the food station, where there were about 5 different touch-screens ready for us to input our orders. Sandwichez, breakfast, burgerz, hot dogz, saladz -- you name it! It was After browsing the breakfast foods (none looked *too* appetizing), we settled on the Pretzel Roll Sandwiches. I chose the "Bacon Melt" with hot pepper cheese, tomato, lettuce, and fire roasted tomato sauce on top ($5). I ordered a cup of onion rings to go with it ($3) -- I've never had a "cup" full of anything greasy, but it was good! The Bacon Melt ended up tasting like a Wendy's Hamburger -- without the obvious beef. I didn't get much bacon in my melt -- it was NOTHING like the image that was on the touch-screen, except for the obvious Pretzel roll which intrigued me. Gone were the thick, stacked bacon slices -- replaced by a few thinly sliced bacon strips with a *little* bit of cheese on top, a huge mess of shredded lettuce + tomato, and soaked in sauce (which wasn't a problem for me). It should be called a "BLT", not a melt. It was kinda warm, but not as warm as a sandwich hot off the grill. My boyfriend's Turkey Melt ($4.80) ended up being the winner : melted hot pepper cheese (a lot more cheese than mine), a couple slices of turkey, and a drenching of chipotle ranch (yum). He decided to order a cup of onion rings too -- with a side of Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce ($0.59). The sauce intrigued us both and it did not disappoint: it was a savory sweet with a little kick at the end. I thought we were only supposed to get 1 dipper container, but we got two -- which was cool. The onion rings were decent -- they were liberal in their servings, but the quality of the rings was super-processy. It was not much onion and three times as much fried coating. Next time, I'll go with the fries. I was super happy about the selection of coffees available -- I went with the Breakfast Blend. Once I filled my cup, I noticed there were no tops, stirrers, or cream. Weird. I started wandering around the store, until I ended up near the "Cappuccino" station. Voila! The creamer machine and tops were to the right of it (you think they would be next to the coffee at the front, though...). The creamer machine also had a selection of non-sugary flavorings (I tried the praline) -- it was crazy how many different flavors and creams there were! I just wouldn't trust my kid in this place (I know I would've filled my cup with EVERY flavor). My only complaint, besides parts of the layout, was the attitude of the attendant at the front. She had a sour, dry attitude -- no thanks. read more

I have the biggest love/hate relationship with Sheetz. I love their MTO food; it's mega cheap, SUPER good, and hits the spot when you have a late night fast food craving or when you're stopping by to fill up on gas and don't wanna buy just chips and a candy bar. The only reason for the hate....is because their food is sooooo deliciously sinful, so I can't eat here every day like I'd love to. Sure, I can get a salad or a healthy sandwich [which they have, and YES they are tasty, especially their grilled chicken salad or taco salad], but I come here for fries, tots, chicken tenders, and 2 for $1 hot dogs. Because really, how can you beat 2 hot dogs for $1?!!! Can't forget those tasty Mac and cheese bites either. No but really, Sheetz is so underestimated especially since they have so many awesome breakfast, lunch, and snack options on their menu. They have MTO coffee drinks and smoothies too, which are amazing! If you're in a rush and can't wait for the MTO food, the store is constantly stocked up with great snacks, drinks, and cold/packaged MTO food that's still pretty good. Service here is always consistent, it can get slower when it's busier, sometimes late at night the dining area is messy, but hey it's a gas station, I don't always expect it to look pristine. Either way, I'm always a fan of this Sheetz. I don't go here as much as I used to, like during my college years, but anytime I have a fast food craving and don't want the normal options down Broad St., I'll definitely go to Sheetz. read more

We have tried multiple times to come get food after work and every time the fryers have been down. Tonight was the most frustrating though because we were able to put our full order in and then they ran out once we were done and put a paper up saying the fryer was down and we couldn't get our food. I know this doesn't seem like a big deal but after working 12 hours and wanting food at 3 am, it's very frustrating. The worst part was that they just threw the signs up and didn't address us or the order we had made other than the fact that there were "no fryers". Everything here is tremendous: the cook staff, the MTO, the cleanliness, everything is usually stocked, which is especially impressive because I'm typically in here between 4-5 AM. OMG! I just discovered Sheetz, at first I was afraid because its a convenience store, but its awesome because of the coffee bar with a million options. Basically, you use a touch screen to pick the most delicious coffee drink of your choosing. Would you like a frozen, iced or regular coffee? What about milk? Fat free, 2%, whole milk or soy, you got it. Then its onto the the flavored syrups which include fabulous things like sugar free vanilla, caramel, and marshmallow cream. Would you like chocolate syrup or whipped cream? Ok, would that be white, dark or sugar free chocolate? Seriously, this place is awesome. Sheetz often had the cheapest gas in the area unless you use fuel points or have a membership to Sam's club or Costco. Almost every time I go, someone approaches me for"gas money." I'm not sure why so many people choose this gas station to scam people. The made to order food is hit or miss.
