The restaurant not busy, and no one updated us on the delay. I finally asked what was going on and was told our ticket never printed, so the kitchen had only started our food about 15 minutes earlier. My biggest issue wasn't the wait, it was the lack of communication. We should have been informed as soon as the problem was discovered so we could decide whether to keep waiting or not. The manager did offer 50% off our meal, which was appreciated, but the experience could have been handled much better. The food was subpar and it just spoiled our whole experience. We definitely won't be back and advised anyone that is thinking of going...DON'T!!

The potato skins are choice but surprisingly the smoke chicken salad is amazing. Candied bacon with the smoked chicken is an incredible pairing. Served with baked beans, creamy coleslaw, french fries and cornbread muffins. Definitely savings vs. ordering that a la carte. 3) online ordering was super convenient & food was ready when quoted. I enjoyed the slaw (not too mayo heavy), the pulled pork (flavorful and nicely smoked) and the cornbread muffins. French fries weren't half bad either. I would come back for the fried pickles, but the Saline location is way closer to me!

I read mixed reviews, so I was skeptical and waited until things settled before going…read more Focusing on the food, I'd give it a solid good. The bread was nicely toasted, the meat had a good smoky flavor without being overpowering, and it stayed tender. The colorful sauce selection was different and actually really good. Overall, it felt worth the price and the atmosphere. Now for the downsides, because every review needs a complaint section. The coleslaw is hit or miss, so I'd get it on the side. The sauces also have a fruit twist, which isn't for everyone, but I liked them. The fries are the standard crispy, golden style. I'd personally prefer something more homemade. Portion size is good--bigger than a single serving, but not over the top like a five gallon bucket that everyone wants. My main issue, and I've only been once, is the smash burger. The name is misleading. I expected to see a thin smashed patty, but it was more like a regular double patty burger. One thing I'd like to see is posting the smoking dates for the meat, so you know what might affect flavor on different days. But that's just my first impression. Overall, I'd definitely go back.
