In business for 29 years, Pizza Perfect has an loyal underground following by those 'in the know'…read more "Perfect" peddles tomato pies and various appetizers for pick-up and delivery only out of a small shop on the south side of Ypsi-town. It doesn't look like much...walking up from the lot it shares with a gas station on this non-descript section of Ford Blvd. I knew that this area can be a bit of a rough part of town. Exiting off I-94, I smiled to myself as I witnessed 4 motorcycles doing wheelies at about 45 MPH on the Boulevard. I thought to myself..."get your pie and get out of Dodge". :) As I claimed my pizza at the counter, I was very impressed with Perfect's pricing...only $10 and change for a Large with Three Toppings! I think that was the least expensive pie I've purchased since the start of the 3rd Millennium. Opening up the box, I was blown away with the quantity of toppings on my pizza. Onions, 'shrooms and pineapple densely populated my pie along with my choice of the butter-garlic Parmesan crust. It's not often that I throw a nickel to a pizza joint with only a pick-up window...but Pizza Perfect earned it the old fashioned way. Outstanding taste and excellent attitude at the check-out counter. It became immediately obvious to me that Pizza Perfect is out to earn your business. After scarfing down my first piece, I could completely understand Pizza Perfect's underground mystique among pizza aficionados. 5 big ones!

The dining room was empty when I came in and one couple came in after me. I patiently waited about 25 minutes with no notification about my pizza., then I asked if the counter if they forgot or had to remake it or something. The girl walks back and looks and it's sitting on a shelf right behind the counter while I've been sitting there at a table Soni 30 minutes waiting. Not a word out of the girl at the counter she just hands it to me with a dumb look on her face with no apology or explanation. Horrible customer service abs attention to customers. I got the pizza back to my hotel maybe 5 minutes away and by the time I opened it it wasn't very warm and the whole center of the pizza was soggy. I assume that's from sitting too long because the outer crust was actually not bad. If the crust wasn't soggy it would have been a pretty decent Pizza but I don't know if that's normal or because of the extra wait.

It had been your standard biker bar (no kidding, big motorcycles out front). People were always nice but get in and out before karaoke starts. They recently changed hands and the restaurant portion is not reopened yet. I tried a couple of burritos through carry out the other night and they were so huge it took us days to eat them. (1/4 of a burrito was good for each of us so 4 meals from 2 burritos). It was Tuesday after all and Tuesday is Mexican night. I met the new owner and he was very committed to keeping things the same unless they can make an improvement like the seating in the restaurant. They have BLT pizza and coney pizza and I love both of those. I'm hoping the baked spaghetti (Wednesday night special) stays as good. We got 2 meals out of one serving and with garlic bread and a meatball it was really awesome. I look forward to when the indoor seating opens but I'm sure this guy will be great. The employees were happy he didn't come in and screw things up (that's a quote lol) It's a cult classic in Belleville (our version of Cheers only more casual) and I'm glad it's being maintained.

We have been coming to here for a few years. Unfortunately we will no longer support this business…read more We have had a few situations that were not friendly. The first one was when the delivery driver called us and asked us why we didn't leave a tip. If he looked closely he would of seen that there was a tip included. He then apologized. I think he wanted more but a 18%. The second issue was they made our pizza wrong and stated that this is what we ordered. We insisted it was not our order and must of been someone else's. They management had a rude attitude and remade our order. The last and final straw was that they tried to tell us the sauce on the wings were Caribbean and they were not. They were sweet and had tasted like honey barbecue. We took the order back and he said that the bottle was carribean flavored. I stated that it must be a different sauce or the manufacturer must of changed the ingredients. Which some companies do. He insisted it wasn't different. Mind you we only order 2 wing sauce flavors carribean and Thai. We order from here all the time. So we would know the difference. He stated he was having a bad day and it showed with his eye rolls and attitude. We were just gonna get it remade but I felt like it still would of been an issue. I told him I hope he had a better day and requested our money back. He never said thank you or even looked me in the eye. I hope this establishment gets better with the managements attitude. This is not the first time I have heard this. Lost a valued customer.
