I found out the hard way that double baked means pizza that tastes, and looks burnt, I didn't get my butter and Parm, either. I'm grateful for the free wing dings at least....$28 wasted on mediocre food.... The customer service rep had an oh well that's on you type of attitude. I miss good customer service... read more

Decided to try the 3 Southern Catfish sliders and fries. Service was good, wish the food was better. I could tell it was a fish sandwich but not what kind. It's mostly bread that you taste. Probably pass on having any more. read more

The owner stole $100 from me. The store took my order, charged me almost $100 and then refused to deliver stating it was too far- they said they were "cancelling the order" but refused to refund my money. The owner told the manager to tell me too bad and to dispute it if I had a problem. So now I have to contact my bank and file a police report for theft. I have the texts the owner sent me telling me it was too far- so he will be prosecuted but its ridiculous that he would believe he could steal money from cusotmers. read more

Meh. This place used to be better. Now they charge you for ranch but give you no ranch. Rib tips are a real hit or miss. Delivery also used to be kick-ass but no more. I'm not sure what they changed but it wasn't an improvement. *Spoke too soon. Tonight really topped the cake! We received 1/2 ranches so I guess it's better than nothing. Until I noticed a hair in it. Nope. Done with you Happy's. Way to ruin what used to be a good thing. read more

The pizza here is rather cardboard and tasteless. We gave it a whirl when this joint first opened up over a year ago. I kinda wrote the place off but they keep shoving coupons in our door and I noticed other things on the menu so tonight we decided that we would give them a second shot. We decided to get the rib tip dinner for two special for 12.99 and the ten happy wings for 5.99. As they are right around the corner we got it to pick it up. It was about five additional minutes of waiting when we got there at the alloted time. First all, we way over ordered. Lots of food, I still have half the rib dinner left for later. The rib tips are in two seperate big boxes and are large chunks and served on top of a big pile of fries with bread and a cup of coleslaw. The wings are decent sized and saucy. I found the wings way over battered and soggy. A bit tough too. The rib tips were good though, saucy and tender, I liked the way the BBQ sauce was covering the crunchy tasty fries too. Coleslaw as usual was a useless throwaway and the bread was overdone with no taste whatsoever. So far the only things I have liked at Happy's are the rib tips and fries, as the dinner is a good deal we will probably get them again at some point. I won't be experimenting further though. read more

Stopped here hoping for a quick meal, ordered a 2pc fried chicken dinner. After already accepting the card payment, the attendant then proceeds to announce it will be about 25mins for the chicken. Yes I understand as a pizza place the orders back up quickly, but if its gonna take more than 10 minutes then let the customer know while they can still change the order. Last but not least, the women's bathroom is disgusting. Multiple signs saying employees must wash hands before returning to work, yet there's only gosh knows how many months of grime build-up on the door handle (both inside and out). It kind of defeats the purpose of washing them at all. read more

they made my food wrong, when i called back the "general manager" wanted to be argumentative about fixing it, i understand they want the food back but i should not have to drive up there a second time for their mistake & that's on top of ripping me off $50 a few weeks ago when i place an order but never got it, when i called i was told i have to talk to joe & i can never seem to reach joe, i haven't ordered from here in 2 years but my niece wanted a burger she now can't eat, so u will go back to not ordering from here. it's not worth it anyway & i really wish i had a corporate number to call & register my complaint with! read more

I ordered food from The Happy's Pizza in Belleville and they delivered the wrong food it took them over 2 hours to bring the correct order back because Tanya the manager that night refused to let him bring our food back before he did his next order, I called to speak to the manager and she was extremely rude and she said that she will not be compensating us at all for the inconvenience because it was my fault. if the corporate office of Happy's monitors these reviews I would really like to be contacted I will be contacting Happy's corporate office tomorrow. read more

I used to consider this Happy's the best managed in the area. We ordered from it once a week. We were regulars, who from the staff and manager perspective, were easy to deal with. Then, we suddenly got a regular week day order taker (female) who is the most inflexible I have ever encountered. Suddenly, there was no flex in anything... and the requests we make favor a business. For instance, a special offered two LARGE 3 item pizzas. We did not want that much, so I asked for two personal size small pizzas instead for the same price. We would save only $1, instead of $3. No way. The final straw came when I placed an order and mentioned we did not get our cole slaw (small pill size cup servings) last week (4 days ago). I got: "you must address problems right after you get an order. I can do nothing now". She acknowledged that we were good regular custo -mers for over a year & that we never presented any issues before. No go. We will not get our slaw. I reminded her we cannot order our dinner until after 8PM & I have always addressed missing food issues the following week when I order again from any carry out. Never had a problem. I asked "what if I cancel my order and never order from Happy's again." She did not care. So, I canceled & we will never order from there again. Nearby Subway will benefit. My friends in the eatery business confirm my information from Federal statistics that the restaurant business is in hard times. Managers and owners better check out what their order takers are doing! By the way, when you ask this order taker about speaking with the manager you never get the manager. Many teams are as good as its weakest link. Well, I say no carry out restaurant is any better than its craziest telephone order taker. The food is still well prepared but deal with this place like a drive by burger window. Always check your order BEFORE you leave the store! read more

I just moved back to Belleville and I really like Happy's Pizza; they always delivery good, quality, hot food, quickly. My only negative experience was with the BBQ Chicken Pizza-the BBQ sauce is a little bland and watery (like" Open Pit" or something and I prefer "Sweet Baby Ray's") and I think the mushrooms are a bad idea. But, the cheese bread and subs are really good! The fries are always hot and crispy; which is not usually the case with other places. read more

Well, after years of not really wanting to try Happy I finally did. Blah! The pizza chain comes off as a little desperate. Having probably close to 75 items on the menu leaves you choices none of which smell.good upon entering the store. My wife wanted fresh baked cookies and Happy is on of the few pizza chain who sell them (chalk one up for the huge menu). We also added a large pizza as the kids were hungry. The food: Pizza was meh. Had some seasonings but the flavors didn't mesh. It was at best ok....but with so many pizza options why settle for ok. Cookies were burnt and we're underwhelming. This is barely a step above (or a shuffle of feet) in front of a frozen pizza and cookie dough from the grocery. Once again, why name it happys? I am happy with many pizza chains and local pizza shops without the corporate suits telling me I will be Happy. Not here.... false advertising. read more

This was our go to spot, food was good except for some overdone breadsticks sometimes, only once was the order messed up, until we got it a few weeks ago and not a single person there was wearing a mask. Highly recommended this location! We were with a soccer team from out of town and ordered pizzas for the team from this restaurant. We got our large order on time, piping hot, and exactly as requested. The quality was excellent and the staff we encountered was very friendly. read more

Sometimes you get tired of the average corporate pizza chains who do not have much to offer besides bland sauce and medium to light amount of cheese. This particular Happys location has become my go-to when it comes to ALL my delivery needs, especially when I want something a little more than pizza to eat that day. From various items on their dessert menu to chicken, shrimp and ribs ...you literally can not go wrong when coming to this place. Only hard part is deciding WHAT to eat. Besides the generous portions of food and zesty flavoring, the friendliness and cleanliness of the kitchen staff and manager is really what makes me coming back. Always greeted with a smile and sent off with a "have a great night" that's the service you look for when spending your hard earned money. Keep up the good work guys! read more

No change, the pizza is still okay, but watch your salad. Ours had a lot of brown lettuce, and not the brown from being cut with a knife. Yuck. Still they are pretty fast and attentive whether walking in or calling ahead to order. read more

I'm officially done with Happy's Pizza! They have screwed up my order on numerous occasions but tonight takes the cake. The pizza so damn oily and the box was so soaked it was dripping out the box. Not only that it was flat! And I I wanted flat pizza I would have went to Little Caesars. It's ridiculous and when you call them and let them know of any issues you have it get played off like wtf. So from here on out I will take my self to Pizza Hut or Dominos. Nothing was edible so I just waste $20 read more

Surprisingly really really good ribs. Fall of the bone. Not fatty. Wings? Mediocre, they got rid of the super hot sauce which is sad. Advice, stop with the breaded wings, they are cheap. Get some real wings, skin crisp and serve. Breaded wings is like freezer choice at walmart. read more

Food has been hot and correct everytime I pick it up. Yes I get charged for what I order and expect to be charged, that shows management that they dont have thieves working for them. A particular situation that brought on my review was last night I ordered my food and while waiting outside a severe thunderstorm developed. I repositioned my vehicle so that the distance to the door would be shorter. The staff came to the door, one person held the door one held my food and another grabbed an umbrella. They were going to bring my food to me, but I decided to face the tundra, jump out of the vehicle and sprint to my freshly made, piping hot order. Upon recieving said order I turned to head back to the car, one of the staff continued to hold the door, while another escorted me with an umbrella back to the car. At this point it was raining cats and dogs from the ground up, and with hurricane like winds we were doomed. However that young gent weathered the storm with me and returned to his place of work soak and wet ready to take on the rest of his shift. To make a long story short I made it home safely, much dryer then I should've been, and was able to enjoy our feast with my company. So thank you Happys of Belleville, you are above par and deserve the highest level of ratings. read more

Today I ordered a Rib Tip Dinner, paid $8 plus delivery and it was terrible. The fries were over cooked and the weight of the rib tips was mostly bones and fat. I was totally dissatisfied with the product and will be calling to complain. They're lucky I was hungry and choked down the fries and picked what meat there was from the bones. read more

I only gave a one star because it was the mandatory lowest scoring. Steer clear of this place, they are not honest people. Very shady. I walked in and purchased food at this location to include two pies for $3.95 each at a total of $8. Later I noticed the two pies were not placed into my bag. So I called them and I advised that I was on my way to take a flight and wouldn't be back in town for a couple weeks. They agreed to refund the amount. I checked a week later and the amount was never refunded. I then called the location again to resolve the issue and was told basically that I was lying, trying to get over and that they couldn't give refunds over the phone as it's not part of the policy. So basically I got screwed out of $8. read more

This place is the worst pizza place ever. I like the pizza normally but this particular Happy's is a joke. The people are not friendly. Very unprofessional upon answering the phone didn't even say thank u for calling happys just hold. We ordered 3 lg pizzas n a pop and instead of the 45 min u normally wait it was over an hour. Than when we called to ask where it was they couldn't even find what order was ours. Then when it finally got her hour and a half later of coarse it was cold n I had to reheat it. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I've lived in Belleville for 10 years and was happy for this new pizza place. Well that was short lived because soon after I started to have problems with them. On the first occurrence I was over billed for a pizza I didn't order then I was argued with like I forgot that I ordered it. The second time I paid with my card and was charged a tip when I paid the driver in cash. The third time I received an old slice of cheesecake that had a sticker on it saying 9/3 with another sticker placed over it saying 9/10 it was 9/7 that I ordered it. I called and was told they put the sticker on in when it's made so apparently I have a slice of cheesecake from the future. I was told I would be refunded the money but that has yet to happen so third times the charm I'm done with this place. read more

After reading the few reviews posted on this Happ's location, I really had to see if it was that bad. First; let's keep in mind we're talking about "Happy's Pizza"......they have a lot of different items on the menu, but can we honestly say they do anything " WELL". When you talk about top pizza chains based in Michigan, do we even speak of Happy's......"NO!" We talk Jet's, Cottage Inn, Hungry Howie's and pizza royalty...... and I say that only because of longevity..... nothing else; Little Caesars and Domino's. I ordered a rib tip dinner and medium pizza with pepperoni, cheese and hamburger w/ cajuin crust. The rib tips while meaty and tender lacked flavor. The sauce "Open Pit" maybe with some additional seasonings added, fries basic coney island fries. The pizza was just OK, sauce very basic, the flavored crust added some depth but it did nothing to give the pizza any identity. Overall this was a 4 out of 10. Happy's Pizza is "break in case of emergency" when you positively have nowhere else to go.......get Happy's. read more

I don't know what has happened to Happy's Belleville. Their food used to be amazing but today's order was less than disappointing (It really was worthy of NO STARS). I ordered 1/2 lb of boneless wings and what i got can only be described as deep fried dregs from the bottom of the freezer bag. I used to order the boneless wings all of the time and always got what looked like a wing without the bone. What I got today was a piece of deep fried gristle, 4 chunks of meat and the rest of the 1/2 lb was made up of a lot of deep fried breading (no meat). Not what I expect in a half pound of boneless wings. Now I'm going to have to fine a decent lunch somewhere because that was a waste.. Shame on you Happy's.. read more
