So this young lady comes bouncing in the room and informs me I bad to pay $1,000 before they move forward. That is some that I should have been told in January not the day of. Fortunately I did have cash with me, but that is a lot of money and I did not have an opportunity to save it up. I really like my dentist because she is very good and concerned about patient comfort and information, but not sure I will go back because of the distance. I will see if a dental office can provide the hardware that I may need replaced in the future at a reasonable cost. Because they seemed to think it was funny that I told them it was terrible to spring something like this on the day with no prior notice. How funny is it that you have now lost referrals and possible a patient?

After spending thousands of dollars at this office, I was never treated like a valued customer. -Crown Delivery (Nightmare) I went in the office for the delivery of my crown on #31. I was in pain the moment the assistant started to take off my temporary crown. Dr. Taylor then gave me a series of injections to numb me. Those injections were ineffective and I still felt severe pain while the assistant prepped my tooth. This led to clear frustration and mistreatment by Dr. Taylor. I spent 2 hrs at this appointment for the crown delivery and I was in pain the entire time. The lack of empathy, poor explanation and flat out rude response to my questions by Dr. Taylor destroyed my confidence in this dentist office. -Failure to Receive Treatment Plan The dentist failed to give me my treatment plan after my initial visit. I had to ask several times for my plan before I received it. Once I received my treatment plan I was shocked because it contained several treatments that were not discussed in the initial appointment. I was initially told I needed 2 root canals and to replace an old dental bridge. Turns out there was several cavities, a deep cleaning and a crown needed on #31, I was never made aware of. No one in the office made any effort to go over my plan or asked if I had questions regarding the treatment plan when it was finally handed to me. -Failure to Disclose Crown Materials I was not given the option to choose my crown material for #30. I was told they would be using porcelain and did not think about the possibility of other options being available. I received my treatment plan after getting the temporary crown on #30, the price was crazy expensive and no one at the office went over it with me so I started researching online all the different treatments. I learned there are several types of crown materials with different cost and durability. I asked the dentist at my following appointment if I could get the rest of my crowns in a different material. He then advised me on the 3 other material types I could choose from. I determined porcelain was not the best option for me and chose a different material for the remaining crowns. Why was I not given the option to choose my crown material in the first place? -Failure to Disclose Cost of Crown I went in one day for a root canal on #12, but I decided I wanted to finish the crown on #30 before starting #12. They placed a temporary crown on #30 and told me to come back in 3 weeks for the final crown. When I went to check out I was hit with a $400 bill for the crown that no one disclosed to me prior to the work being started. -Deep Cleaning Consent Form & -Failure to Go Over My Chart Prior to my deep cleaning I was told to sign a consent form stating "I understand I have periodontal gum disease". I was very confused because I was never told I had a gum disease. When I asked the assistant to clarify, she asked me " did the dentist show you the screen of how all your teeth look and go over it with you". I told her no he did not. The dentist then reviewed my chart with me and determined I do NOT have periodontal gum disease. Why did I have to sign a consent form stating something that is NOT true in order to receive the deep cleaning treatment? Why did the dentist not go over my chart with me in the initial appointment? Based on my experience I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Dr Cynthia Wang has terrible bedside manner. Rude dismissive and condescending. I was referred by…read morethe VA for an extraction with nitrous. When the nurse started going over what was being done she mentioned bone graft. I hadn't been informed about this so I asked to speak to the Dr. Unfortunately the explanation led to me asking what materials were going to be implanted into my body ie donor bone, cadaver etc. She literally went and got the box to read. SHE DIDN'T KNOW. I asked again if this was needed only for a later implant or if it was necessary. She kept saying "well you don't have to get it". So I'm supposed to have a material implanted into me from who knows for the rest of my life. At this point my anxiety and stress are extremely high. After not knowing what material was being used I asked again. Was it only necessary for the implant or needed for the procedure. She flat out said "I already explained it to you already". I stood said "no, you will not speak to me that way" and walked to the front. I asked for an office manager but they have none on site. I had to wait to speak to another dentist who will be treating me tomorrow. I can't wait for the VA to send me somewhere else. I can't keep waiting to get this taken care of. It's a shame because this use to be a great office. Many people have dental anxiety and having a dentist with a compassionate calm bedside manner makes a world of difference. The front desk and nurses are wonderful. It's unfortunate. I will update after tomorrow's visit.

My wife just went ahead and paid in advance for the appointment, this is where we made a huge mistake. I cancelled the appointment because being told ONE tooth needed work but we have to pay for SEVEN, that's was a big no, so almost six weeks later after canceling my appointment they wouldn't issue a refund, i called 9 times during those 6 weeks, all i got was " will call you back" or " the lady that does the refund is too busy", SIX WEEKS still waiting. When they say they will call back for whatever reason they won't. You call a general number off site for help, not even the physical location of the business. Also, had 3 different dentists the whole time I've been coming here. The constant turnover of staff, loss of amenities and disorganization made me go somewhere else. And don't bother reading the store hours on the door, they aren't correct. They usher you back, so some X-rays and you are out of there in 10 mins with a referral to an oral surgeon. Lucky for me, as the receptionist handed me the referral page she filled out with my date of birth, and other info she assured me they took my insurance. So after waiting a week for my antibiotic prescription to be called in, and still not receiving a call back I called them, they were closed on a random Tuesday, finally got my prescription called in two days later. Then the best part, when calling the oral surgeon to schedule they told me they only accept patients under 20 and that it has been their policy and she wasn't sure why they would have referred me, as I am 30. This was over a month ago, I still have never received a call back for a new referral, and everytime I try and stop in the office is closed randomly throughout the week.
