This place was nice when I first started coming here but had since gone downhill. Coffee, water, other drinks (even wine!), snacks, free teeth whitening and a hygienist to clean your teeth. Now, no refreshments (not that it's a big deal but this was on the promo they had to lure people in), I have to argue about getting my whitening because the staff (always new people when I come in) doesn't know anything about it, no hygienist so the actual dentist cleans your teeth but it is very rushed since they are in a hurry, I have to argue about giving me fluoride and they are never even there at the actual location. You call a general number off site for help, not even the physical location of the business. Also, had 3 different dentists the whole time I've been coming here. The constant turnover of staff, loss of amenities and disorganization made me go somewhere else. And don't bother reading the store hours on the door, they aren't correct. It says walkins are welcome Monday - Friday 10-5 but here I am on a Monday at 11:30 and they are closed. If I could give no stars I absolutely would. I don't know how this is even open. The minute you enter the office the overwhelming stench of cheap Chinese food from the place next door hits you in the face. They usher you back, so some X-rays and you are out of there in 10 mins with a referral to an oral surgeon. Lucky for me, as the receptionist handed me the referral page she filled out with my date of birth, and other info she assured me they took my insurance. So after waiting a week for my antibiotic prescription to be called in, and still not receiving a call back I called them, they were closed on a random Tuesday, finally got my prescription called in two days later. Then the best part, when calling the oral surgeon to schedule they told me they only accept patients under 20 and that it has been their policy and she wasn't sure why they would have referred me, as I am 30. This was over a month ago, I still have never received a call back for a new referral, and everytime I try and stop in the office is closed randomly throughout the week. They have zero patient care, but I guarantee they already claimed my visit with my insurance to get paid. Smh go anywhere else. Update: never heard back from them after leaving 10+ messages. If you are shopping for the most AMAZING DENTIST EVER, I have the one for you. Absolutely, unequivocally, without reservation, Dr. Cho and her entire staff deserve the highest recommendations possible. I have now been three times for extensive work and I truly still like this woman. She is kind and smart and intuitive and communicates well what is going on in that scary mouth of yours. My FIRST visit: I have had the most amazing and skilled and comfortable dental moment of my entire life, and I am not on painkillers either!! Dr Cho and her staff were as accommodating and calm and compassionate a team as I have ever had the pleasure to be held down and drilled by. My fear of the dental monsters is deep rooted and founded on experiences that left me with a sort of DDS PTSD , for which I was treated with THC and MGD, as needed...but I woke up to find, after 20 years of solid dental avoidance techniques, I required, ahem, a bit of work. Now. Cause I was in agony. I was seen almost immediately after I called, and I was assessed and x rayed ( which was $39.00, BTW. A full mouth exam and X rays and an assessment/ treatment plan. THIRTY NINE DOLLARS!!! Yes, she is a real dentist, no, that's the price she really charges, no, I did not tell her I was writing this review which thousands of dental patients are sure to read daily...). The front desk staff was genuine and warm in their welcome. They were efficient, funny and I felt like I was cared for. It was surreal! Where is the Nurse Ratchet of my nightmare recollections? When do I get to sing the Little Shop of Horrors song, "I'll be a Dentist...I Have a Talent for Causing You Pain"??? Where are the blooming SADISTS?! Well, to my soul deep relief, they are now working for the Federal Government or various police forces throughout the U.S. and are not lurking in Dr. Dentist's office. Whew. The ever patient and burdened Larry the Prick (my beloved husband, aka Poor Poor Larry) was there since I had taken a valium and a bong hit, and was not all that sure I wouldn't sock the dentist in the eye when she attempted to remove my wisdom tooth and drill out the root of the adjacent tooth. You have to have a certain kind of fatalism to just allow someone to remove your tooth, and I was pretty sure if flight wasn't an option in this situation, fight might surface in an inappropriate fashion. Dr Cho beat me to the punch, so to speak, and my husband lovingly kept my hands jammed in my pockets. It was very immobilizing and sort of sweet. She kept me pain free and was gentle and patient and I gotta admit, I was a sissy if ever there was one. It was sad. Her Xray guys was a sweetheart. Her finances lady was a doll. And when it was all over they offered me beer or wine. Now here is the clincher. My treatment plan includes a hideous sounding thing called scaling where they clean UNDER the gumline, 2 more root canals, three small cavities filled, 2 more replaced with non lethal materials not used in my lead and mercury filled youth, as well as the extraction and root canal they did today. Oh, and a crown. My Poor Poor Larry is a retired career air force guy so Dr Cho offered us a 10% off military discount . THEN she set us up with monthly payments after a 20% down payment. My total was an unbelievable 3500.00. I shopped these services around at 2 other dental places. One estimated 7500.00, and the other was 6800.00, and neither offered an in house plan like Dr Cho. (GO CHO!!!) And I get a CROWN! I always wanted a crown, but who knew crowns come from a dentist?? I absolutely recommend this place for the nicest most pain free dental moment I can imagine. Went here in March to get 2 wisdom teeth extraction. They charged me for it and then could not get the teeth out so I had to go to a oral surgeon. I was supposed to get my refund from them within 4-6 weeks and I still have not received it. I've been calling them everyday and they either don't answer or they say they will call me back. Will never go here again and will be filling a complaint with the Better business Bureau. read more
