I called in to schedule an appointment in the mid-May, and I told them very clearly I have Tricare dental and asked them if they accept Tricare. They said yes they do accept Tricare and then set up my appointment on June 22. I showed up and checked in, then the front desk asked me to pay $100 copay, I told them Tricare covers 100% on the annual exam and x-ray and cleaning twice a year. Then they told me oh we are NOT in the Tricare network and you need to pay a copay $100! WHAT!!! WHY DID NOT TELL ME ON THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED THE FIRST TIME???!!!! I said then I do not want to proceed with the appointment and about to walk out, the manager saw that I was about to leave, she said oh I can just bill your insurance and waive the copay, since you are already here, I do not want to turn you away. We will just do the x-ray and you can take the images to another dental which is in the network. I accepted and proceeded with the x-ray. I was SO WRONG!! I really really should have left! Later of the day I found another dentist on Tricare Dental Program website and called them and told them what happened earlier today. I was told that: 1) they would need to do their own full mouth X-ray and not accepting what other dentist has done due to liability 2) Tricare only covers full mouth x-ray once every year, I would need to pay out of pocket for the second one. This place wants to make money so bad that they totally abused my insurance coverage! They knew clearly I had Tricare and they could not do any cleaning or needed treatment for me! Even they waived the $100 copay but they submitted $$$ claim to my insurance! Yeah, they got paid from insurance! Now I have to pay for another X-ray out of pocket! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING PLACE!!!

I haven't been to a dentist in 18 years and I had some traumatizing experiences when I was younger…read more I came in because a filling came out and I had a hole and a crack in my tooth requiring emergency treatment. I left a message Thursday evening. I got a call back first thing Friday morning and was able to be seen that day. Dr. Eck and his team made me feel comfortable and not shamed for my lack of dental care over the years. (Strahler was the previous owner, and before that, Penshorn to clear up confusion in how it may be listed on Google, and Dr. Penshorn still works there ). They assisted me through the process of applying for Care Credit and Alphaeon so I could pay for my services, emailing the links to make it quick and easy. I chose to get a full set of x-rays done (but I had the option to do a limited exam for only my problem tooth if I preferred or had limited funds). I'll be coming back in one week to get my temporary crown & deep cleaning, and 4 weeks later I'll get my permanent crown, which is porcelain, not silver, so I can still have a confident smile. They are all very personable, friendly, welcoming, and real. Every person. I have complete confidence in this team and the dentist to give me the best care. The office is clean and inviting. They offer complimentary products to brush your teeth in the lobby bathroom before your appointment (if you so wish) so you don't feel embarrassed coming in after lunch. I was surprised to see non-GMO snacks and healthy sugar-free drink options (with stevia! Not aspartame or sucralose- I LOVE Zevia drinks!). I'm so glad I found them! They are a God-send.

Never had bone graft done before and wasn't really sure if I wanted to go through with it or not, but I had a really good doctor, Cesar Gonzalez and his wonderfully fantastic assistant Kiana, who had me relaxed and kept me assured that I was doing well during the procedure. I have had bad experiences with Naval dentists during my military career who would sooner hurt me than help me, so my trepidation regarding dentists has always been one of little trust. Dr. Gonzalez did his absolute best not to cause me an undue amount of pain, although my anxiety was pumping my adrenaline like it was going out of style, he did the injections with VERY minimal discomfort and kept reassuring me during the procedure that everything was running smoothly. His assistant, Kiana, aided in calming my nervousness and the procedure was over before I knew it. I was really amazed at how quick he was in removing the tooth and putting in the graft material. No pain from the sutures when I was done. Very compassionate dentist and assistant. Definitely worth going to if you too are nervous or anxious about dental work. Can't really say enough about how great they were with me. I still hate having injections in my mouth, but they did an excellent job of relaxing this crusty old Sailor and keeping me calm. Thanks, Doc and Kiana. 5 out of 5 from me.

I was a happy patient here for many years and trusted this office with my dental care…read more Unfortunately, my most recent experience completely changed my opinion. Not only did I leave feeling that I did not receive a thorough cleaning, but a procedure was performed without my approval or informed consent. I was then billed for that procedure. When I questioned the charge, I was threatened to pay rather than having my concerns addressed. I escalated the matter to the central billing department, and they acknowledged my concerns and advised me to continue working with the office to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the office chose not to do so. What disappointed me most was the manager's attitude. After years of loyalty and spending thousands of dollars at this practice,(my husband's teeth concerns are still horrible despite many crowns replaced here) ... I felt I was treated without the respect and professionalism I expected over a $100 charge for a procedure I did not authorize and did not believe was necessary. Especially reminding them to do only what my insurance covered. I have since transferred my care to Texas Dental office seguin. Although it is farther from my home, I gladly make the drive because I am treated with dignity, respect, professionalism, and kindness. Plus free teeth whiting kit for my loyalty. That level of patient care has reminded me what excellent customer service should look like. It's unfortunate that a long-standing relationship ended this way, but every patient deserves to be informed, respected, and asked for consent before any procedure is performed. I wanted to give this review a negative 5 star but that wasn't an option here. THE OWNER'S RESPONSE WAS CONDESCENDING AND ONCE AGAIN DEFLECTING THE ISSUE INSTEAD OF ADDRESSING IT....SEVERE LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY AS WELL AS THEIR OFFICE MGR. INSTEAD OF CORRECTING THEIR ERROR, THEY THREATEN ME WITH SENDING ME TO COLLECTIONS IF I DID NOT PAY..... SO I REPORTED THIS LOCATION TO BBB, SO THAT OTHER PATIENTS MAY BE AWARE WHEN DEALING WITH THIS LOCATION. Nonetheless, I found an awesome new provider at Texas Dental off Seguin, Mario and the staff's professionalism and experience, was beyond my expectations, so when I was given a personalized teeth whiting kit just for being a patient, I realized that this bad experience with 7 to 7 was all worth it...I found my dental family at Texas Dental.

Dr. Blaine made it clear her satisfaction and comfort was number one and he personally worked very hard to alleviate her pain and get a comfortable fit. Having just completed a disastrous kitchen remodel with a known big box company that refused to take responsibility and get things done right, I am beyond impressed and owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Blaine. He was entirely committed to my mom getting comfortable dentures. Dental care is critical to something even more than aesthetics. It is vital to getting proper nutrition. The detailed work it takes is critical. I watched Dr. Blaine and his staff work at mom's comfort over and over until it was right. Dr. Blaine is not a faceless owner/manager who manages his practice from afar, he is active and available in his practices. He is also in the commercial. I had this dentist install 2 implants, lower molars 1 on each side…read more They did good with 1 molar but failed on the second one. The tooth they used was too small but they installed it anyway. I complained about the tooth packing with food every time I ate anything. Because it was too small, food filled the gaps on both sides every time. It looks like a child's tooth in my mouth. They refused to do anything about it. I have to go to another dentist to have this corrected. You know the old saying you get what you pay for, it applies here. Then I requested a crown to be placed on 1 of my upper molar's which was giving me some discomfort. This dentist identified this chipped molar prior to me, keep this in mind. The dentist refused to place a crown on the molar unless I pay for teeth cleaning first, my teeth are pearl white. They just wanted to make more money. The cleaning was a scam as far as I'm concerned. This outfit needs to be reported for its poor business practices, and refusing medical attention to a tooth in need. In a nutshell, this is a 50/50 dentist at best. They just want your money, this is not quality dentistry. You get what you pay for, poor quality and service.

In and out and on to work. Well one morning I didn't get taken back until like 7:12 and I complained about it. Dr. Enriquez said it was her fault as she ran long doing morning prayers. Fine, but a lot of places will cancel your appointment if you run late or charge you a fee. Fair is fair and I liked getting there early so there's no waiting for either of us. Another time I paid in cash and the girl said I could have any change because it was locked up in the office and I said that was unprofessional. She said I'd have to come back later in the day. Weird. So moments later Dr. Enriquez comes around the corner with the key, opens the office and gets my change but also has a mini counseling session with me about what I said. So was the girl at the counter just afraid to ask for the keys? The last thing was my mask. The whole idea of wearing one to a dental appointment is just mental. I took my daughter and they didn't like the one I was wearing and I declined the one I was offered. In May of 2020 when I heard Abbott was making a mask order I went to JoAnne's and bought a yard of eyelash lace and some elastic. I used it for a face covering and it actually did the same thing as every other mask. So I guess after that, much like Andy on Shawshank when Tommy got murdered, they decided it was time to part ways and sent me a letter that my family's dental needs would be better served elsewhere. And they have been at Dual Arc.

I had chemical allergy testing done and it was determined that I WAS allergic to the compounds used for my temporary crown. I provided that information to the dentist on Sept 22, 2025, who assured me the materials to be used for the permanent crown would be different than the materials that were used for the temporary crown. I started having an allergic reaction in the car on my way home, that got progressively worse; the worst being extreme swelling and redness of my lips, gums, and face and constant peeling lips. I contacted Ideal Dentals corporate office, gave them all the information, requested a refund to my Care Credit account, and requested my dental records. I have not received either of those. I went back to my allergist, whose office called Ideal Dental. The office at Ideal Dental told my allergists office that the materials used for my permanent crown were the same materials that were used for my temporary crown. THEY BASICALLY USED MATERIALS THAT THEY KNEW I WAS ALLERGIC TO, AND LIED ABOUT IT. I filed a formal complaint with TSBDE (Texas State Board of Dental Examiners) in October 2025.
