Military families! Stay away from this dental clinic and they are NOT in the network of Tricare…read moreDental Program! They literally scammed me!!! I called in to schedule an appointment in the mid-May, and I told them very clearly I have Tricare dental and asked them if they accept Tricare. They said yes they do accept Tricare and then set up my appointment on June 22. I showed up and checked in, then the front desk asked me to pay $100 copay, I told them Tricare covers 100% on the annual exam and x-ray and cleaning twice a year. Then they told me oh we are NOT in the Tricare network and you need to pay a copay $100! WHAT!!! WHY DID NOT TELL ME ON THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED THE FIRST TIME???!!!! I said then I do not want to proceed with the appointment and about to walk out, the manager saw that I was about to leave, she said oh I can just bill your insurance and waive the copay, since you are already here, I do not want to turn you away. We will just do the x-ray and you can take the images to another dental which is in the network. I accepted and proceeded with the x-ray. I was SO WRONG!! I really really should have left! Later of the day I found another dentist on Tricare Dental Program website and called them and told them what happened earlier today. I was told that: 1) they would need to do their own full mouth X-ray and not accepting what other dentist has done due to liability 2) Tricare only covers full mouth x-ray once every year, I would need to pay out of pocket for the second one. This place wants to make money so bad that they totally abused my insurance coverage! They knew clearly I had Tricare and they could not do any cleaning or needed treatment for me! Even they waived the $100 copay but they submitted $$$ claim to my insurance! Yeah, they got paid from insurance! Now I have to pay for another X-ray out of pocket! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING PLACE!!!

Everyone there is relaxed, polite, pleasant and will help the patient with any anxiety, etc. We recommend them without any reservations. My husband and I can't continue with Dual Arc Dental because they no longer submit the full bill to the insurance company and after that amount is paid the patient pays the balance. Sometimes we cannot afford to pay up front so we located another practice recommended by a friend which will submit the bill to our insurance and allow us to pay the balance. We understand that Dual Arc made a business decision and we wish them the best. Try them and you will be impressed with the high level of dental help.

So this young lady comes bouncing in the room and informs me I bad to pay $1,000 before they move forward. That is some that I should have been told in January not the day of. Fortunately I did have cash with me, but that is a lot of money and I did not have an opportunity to save it up. I really like my dentist because she is very good and concerned about patient comfort and information, but not sure I will go back because of the distance. I will see if a dental office can provide the hardware that I may need replaced in the future at a reasonable cost. Because they seemed to think it was funny that I told them it was terrible to spring something like this on the day with no prior notice. How funny is it that you have now lost referrals and possible a patient?

This review is long overdue. Dr. Blaine and his team did everything and then some to help my…read more79-year old mother, Mary, to get a comfortable set of new dentures. Dr. Blaine personally did everything in his power, multiple multiple times to get mom the comfortable fit without pain when I didn't think it was possible. Dr. Blaine made it clear her satisfaction and comfort was number one and he personally worked very hard to alleviate her pain and get a comfortable fit. Having just completed a disastrous kitchen remodel with a known big box company that refused to take responsibility and get things done right, I am beyond impressed and owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Blaine. He was entirely committed to my mom getting comfortable dentures. Dental care is critical to something even more than aesthetics. It is vital to getting proper nutrition. The detailed work it takes is critical. I watched Dr. Blaine and his staff work at mom's comfort over and over until it was right. Dr. Blaine is not a faceless owner/manager who manages his practice from afar, he is active and available in his practices. He is also in the commercial. He made his personal email available in reviews. If that doesn't tell you how serious he is about quality, comfort and satisfaction, I don't know what will. I would also like to mention Ms. Ashley. She is wonderful. She handles so many roles with dedication. Always professional and polite despite us being very difficult and needing more time to come to a solution. I would also like to mention Stephanie, Desiree and Alice for their kind and compassionate care. Kind Regards, Laurie

I had this dentist install 2 implants, lower molars 1 on each side…read more They did good with 1 molar but failed on the second one. The tooth they used was too small but they installed it anyway. I complained about the tooth packing with food every time I ate anything. Because it was too small, food filled the gaps on both sides every time. It looks like a child's tooth in my mouth. They refused to do anything about it. I have to go to another dentist to have this corrected. You know the old saying you get what you pay for, it applies here. Then I requested a crown to be placed on 1 of my upper molar's which was giving me some discomfort. This dentist identified this chipped molar prior to me, keep this in mind. The dentist refused to place a crown on the molar unless I pay for teeth cleaning first, my teeth are pearl white. They just wanted to make more money. The cleaning was a scam as far as I'm concerned. This outfit needs to be reported for its poor business practices, and refusing medical attention to a tooth in need. In a nutshell, this is a 50/50 dentist at best. They just want your money, this is not quality dentistry. You get what you pay for, poor quality and service.

I'm glad I checked Yelp before going into a closer dentist! I went in today for an overdue, routine…read morecheck up. I did all of my intake paperwork, the front desk lady was super nice and helpful, the hand sanitizer they had was a nice brand of hand sanitizer (that gives a LOT when you pump too!), there was only one other person in the sizeable waiting room, the front desk lady also watched my bike for me, and the dental assistant and dentist were both so kind and walked me through everything they were doing/were going to do. Sadly I only remember the name of the dental assistant (Crystal), wish I could name everyone who helped me! I didn't have to wait long (I did arrive early to do first time patient paperwork), x-rays were over fast, Crystal also sanitized the lead vest after I used it, and the dentist was in shortly after and explained my x-rays to me. I was supposed to be in just for an x-ray first, but because they had time they asked if I just wanted to knock out my cleaning then and there! The cleaning was fast and thorough - I felt/heard Crystal polish EVERY individual tooth, and then after she rinsed my teeth she went back over teeth that still had stains! I had HEAVY stains, being a smoker and a "drink coffee all day" person. After Crystal, the dentist also took two other tools over my problem spots! Waiting for the dentist to come back in was maybe the longest wait, wasn't even that long - maybe ten minutes? And keep in mind this is already extra so I have no complaints! They also spent extra care on my "hard to reach" area, Aka where my bottom permanent retainer sits. After they were done, they asked if I had any questions and they answered all of them honestly and backed them up with facts so I understood. I also got a goodie bag of a toothbrush, small dental floss container, and travel sized toothpaste. Then I was walked to the front, made my 6-month follow up appointment (they also gave me a card with the date and time of it plus their address and phone number), and was out. All in all, took maybe an hour and a half. Location is also easy to find! My insurance (Tricare prime) covered everything, too.

After spending thousands of dollars at this office, I was never treated like a valued customer. -Crown Delivery (Nightmare) I went in the office for the delivery of my crown on #31. I was in pain the moment the assistant started to take off my temporary crown. Dr. Taylor then gave me a series of injections to numb me. Those injections were ineffective and I still felt severe pain while the assistant prepped my tooth. This led to clear frustration and mistreatment by Dr. Taylor. I spent 2 hrs at this appointment for the crown delivery and I was in pain the entire time. The lack of empathy, poor explanation and flat out rude response to my questions by Dr. Taylor destroyed my confidence in this dentist office. -Failure to Receive Treatment Plan The dentist failed to give me my treatment plan after my initial visit. I had to ask several times for my plan before I received it. Once I received my treatment plan I was shocked because it contained several treatments that were not discussed in the initial appointment. I was initially told I needed 2 root canals and to replace an old dental bridge. Turns out there was several cavities, a deep cleaning and a crown needed on #31, I was never made aware of. No one in the office made any effort to go over my plan or asked if I had questions regarding the treatment plan when it was finally handed to me. -Failure to Disclose Crown Materials I was not given the option to choose my crown material for #30. I was told they would be using porcelain and did not think about the possibility of other options being available. I received my treatment plan after getting the temporary crown on #30, the price was crazy expensive and no one at the office went over it with me so I started researching online all the different treatments. I learned there are several types of crown materials with different cost and durability. I asked the dentist at my following appointment if I could get the rest of my crowns in a different material. He then advised me on the 3 other material types I could choose from. I determined porcelain was not the best option for me and chose a different material for the remaining crowns. Why was I not given the option to choose my crown material in the first place? -Failure to Disclose Cost of Crown I went in one day for a root canal on #12, but I decided I wanted to finish the crown on #30 before starting #12. They placed a temporary crown on #30 and told me to come back in 3 weeks for the final crown. When I went to check out I was hit with a $400 bill for the crown that no one disclosed to me prior to the work being started. -Deep Cleaning Consent Form & -Failure to Go Over My Chart Prior to my deep cleaning I was told to sign a consent form stating "I understand I have periodontal gum disease". I was very confused because I was never told I had a gum disease. When I asked the assistant to clarify, she asked me " did the dentist show you the screen of how all your teeth look and go over it with you". I told her no he did not. The dentist then reviewed my chart with me and determined I do NOT have periodontal gum disease. Why did I have to sign a consent form stating something that is NOT true in order to receive the deep cleaning treatment? Why did the dentist not go over my chart with me in the initial appointment? Based on my experience I would not recommend this place to anyone.
