When Dr. Thad was the primary dentist his professionalism was exceptional he did my crown work and it lasted for 10 ten years. When I went back Dr. Thad was no longer at this office. Dr. Wang I found her professional practice unremarkable. It's been nearly a year now for my crown replacement and because her initial work did not last for a month, ultimately ended up having an implant done which was more expensive and It seemed at times like she did not have the necessary experience plus she doesn't listen very well terrible patient side manner. I wish I had all the info beforehand choosing this office. Dr. Broderick was fine for the extraction. I would not recommend this location for crown /implant work. read more

This office is really down to earth. Doctor does work very well. very thorough about everything. I love the fact the hygienist come in and do a full evaluation. Really concern about the health of your teeth and gives you option on the route you should go. read more

PAIN & Horrible bedside manner!!! I was referred by the VA because of pain in my right bottom tooth. Comfort Dental recommend to replace my amalgam (sliver) filling with a porcelain one a well as the amalgam filling on my left. Ok that was fine, 2 appointments. 1st procedure visit, front desk staff friendly, dentist injected 1st round of numbing meds, they did not work. I cringed in pain, provider just stopped told me I needed more numbing meds (that's it, no apologies, no sort of comfort at all, he did not make me as ease) he admin a second round of numbing meds, I was still not numb; I cringed again in pain when he began to drill, then he admin a 3rd round, it finally worked and I was able to get the old filling removed and replaced. Scheduled the 2nd appointment (against my better judgement, but hey everybody deserves a 2nd chance right?). I took the day off, arrived at my appointment and it was rescheduled (without my knowledge). They claim I was informed. I mean really? I took the day off to get this procedure, just say you made a scheduling mistake (no accountability). Ok finally the 2nd appointment. More of the same 3 rounds of numbing meds and I'm still feeling everything, extreme pain. At this point tears are streaming down my face, the dentist just does not have the skill to numb me properly. I have never had this happen. I've had root canals with just numbing with no issues. I asked the provider if he could make sure that I'm fully numb before proceeding. He seemed annoyed by my request and states, " if you're not numb I can just put a temp on it and will have to send you back to the VA" no apologies, nothing. Now I'm thinking, there is no way the VA can get me in in 2 weeks do I spend my Christmas with a temp? I just cried thought the pain so he could finish. Then he kept digging the tooth mirror into my gums, I could literally feel it cutting into them. I have a dent in my gums from it that I still feel the next day. I rose my had and let him know that his mirror was hurting me. He did apologies for that. Also, not to mention, I could hear the client screaming in the booth next to me getting her tooth pulled. Should we be in this much pain? I felt so bad for her. I could hear her provider say to her, "what do you want me to do, I've given you so many injections" I almost fainted. Where is the compassion for patients? I also did not see the dentist wash/us sanitizer between patients (he only changed gloves).. I won't be returning. Save yourself some pain and go elsewhere. read more

I cannot say enough about how incredible this location is! I had breast cancer in 2010 and have an autoimmune disease as well that makes it difficult to "open wide" for any dentist... and I knew my teeth needed much work because I had not seen one since 2010. I met with Dr. Foulger regarding my teeth and what was needed - we previously consulted about maybe having to do a deep clean and more- but after xrays and new methods, I had been doing a decent job regarding my oral hygiene and only needed a cleaning by them and, oh also five cavities! In one appointment, I had those cavities filled and my teeth cleaned so so well and it was absolutely PAINLESS. No even kidding! His staff and, he himself, gives a very soothing "bedside manner" if you will, and I was relaxed the whole time and left SMILING. Yes, that's right! I smiled (it was crooked because of the numbing, but a legit smile!). I cannot express my deep gratitude enough for this location's staff and for Dr. Foulger. It was absolutely the best dental experience. Lastly, I live in Stone Oak. This location is in Schertz. WORTH EVERY MILE! Trust these professionals! read more

This was my first time going to comfort dental I had Dr. Thad he was awesome I need to get a Root canal done . I was worried I would feel pain but it was actually not bad at all. He made sure Constantly that I wasn't feeling any pain and gave me Breaks in between To relax my jaw instead of just going at it straight for hours. But his assistant Lexy was the one that stole the show. She was so nice and polite. She made me feel super comfortable. You can just tell she loves her job and truly cares for her clients. She explained every step we took and was super organized she cleaned and sanitized everything as we used deferent machines. Overall this is the best dentist location I've ever been to . Thank you so much comfort dental for giving me the best experience ever (even with getting a Root canal) lol read more

I'm glad I checked Yelp before going into a closer dentist! I went in today for an overdue, routine check up. I did all of my intake paperwork, the front desk lady was super nice and helpful, the hand sanitizer they had was a nice brand of hand sanitizer (that gives a LOT when you pump too!), there was only one other person in the sizeable waiting room, the front desk lady also watched my bike for me, and the dental assistant and dentist were both so kind and walked me through everything they were doing/were going to do. Sadly I only remember the name of the dental assistant (Crystal), wish I could name everyone who helped me! I didn't have to wait long (I did arrive early to do first time patient paperwork), x-rays were over fast, Crystal also sanitized the lead vest after I used it, and the dentist was in shortly after and explained my x-rays to me. I was supposed to be in just for an x-ray first, but because they had time they asked if I just wanted to knock out my cleaning then and there! The cleaning was fast and thorough - I felt/heard Crystal polish EVERY individual tooth, and then after she rinsed my teeth she went back over teeth that still had stains! I had HEAVY stains, being a smoker and a "drink coffee all day" person. After Crystal, the dentist also took two other tools over my problem spots! Waiting for the dentist to come back in was maybe the longest wait, wasn't even that long - maybe ten minutes? And keep in mind this is already extra so I have no complaints! They also spent extra care on my "hard to reach" area, Aka where my bottom permanent retainer sits. After they were done, they asked if I had any questions and they answered all of them honestly and backed them up with facts so I understood. I also got a goodie bag of a toothbrush, small dental floss container, and travel sized toothpaste. Then I was walked to the front, made my 6-month follow up appointment (they also gave me a card with the date and time of it plus their address and phone number), and was out. All in all, took maybe an hour and a half. Location is also easy to find! My insurance (Tricare prime) covered everything, too. read more

I attempted to make an appointment at this office but they were unable to verify the Tricare dental insurance despite my providing the appropriate phone number and ID number. I even called myself to ensure that it was not a Tricare issue. Nope, there was no record of them even attempting to call. Hopefully whom ever runs this office will see this and be made aware of the customers they are losing out on. I'm sure I cannot be the only one to have run into this issue. read more

Dr. Thad has helped me so much since I began my treatment a couple months ago. He came highly recommended from a co worker and his bed side manner and dental treatment skills are unmatched. I spent my childhood being very deathly scared of the dental treatment and my teen years nor being able to afford treatment for my teeth. I am SO happy that I found Comfort Dental and Dr. Broderick. My husband and I own our own business and are self pay. I needed a tooth extracted and posted on the Universal City facebook. A couple people suggested Comfort Dental. I was in and out in an hour and a half to get my tooth pulled and it was a GREAT price!!! Dr. Broderick was super friendly and SUPER good at his job I felt very at ease which is odd because I am one of THOSE people who are terrified of the dentist. I totally agree with everything Jordan B. said. My teeth problems are different, though. The clinic is clean and well maintained. The staff are very nice and Dr. Taylor is a great Dentist. I would recommend you get the Comfort Gold Plan if you have a-lot of work needing to get done. I hate Dentist and have put things off way too long, now I'm paying for it but saving a lot of money thanks to this plan. read more

Take my word for it, anything that can be done in a persons mouth (from a Dental perspective!) - has been done in mine! And no one has ever done it better than Dr Chris & Dr Thad here at Comfort Dental. These two guys really care about their patients. They spend a lot of time before, during, and after any treatment to make sure that the right procedure is being done at the right cost. That's a big deal, in my book. And I want to give a BIG shoutout to the young ladies who assist here as well. These are courteous, knowledgeable, professional dental assistants and staff who know their stuff and really try to make you feel at ease during your visit. Unfortunately, NO ONE enjoys going to the dentist, but I think the folks here have found a way to make getting your teeth worked on as enjoyable as it can get. I have had some horrible experiences with other dentists in my area, and broke my crown a few days ago and was in extreme pain. I decided to call Comfort Dental and I am so glad I did. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted and taken care of right away. I was taken care of by everyone, from the front desk clerk to my new dentist... Dr. Thad is great.
