Melanie is the most appeasing and soothing person, with a Gentle touch. Redheads are known for their sensitivity and RED Temper, contradictions! Melanie, when she washed my hair, her fingers touched my tender head with thorough "Merciful" fingers, then converged through my long FRIZZ hair. It has been over a decade of years since I could find an "adequate" hair stylist, more a knowledgeable Stylist who is not daunted by curly fizzy hair. Soothing and comforted.....what a great combination. MIRACLES do happen! More, I wanted to keep all that hair long as possible, HUGE CHALLENGE!! Melanie did not flinch instead - confidence exuded; she knows how to create miracles. Asked questions, mapped out her skills with her shampoos, conditioners and scissors. Melanie is soft spoken, likes to laugh, and when I sat in her chair, with my Service Dog whom Melanie was very wise and accommodating, bringing my Service Dog a beautiful soft blanket for her to lie on. What great treatment. Melanie washed and conditioned my hair and trimmed all the RED FRIZ away and still I have longish hair. I can't say enough about my experience. When entering the warm Hether's Salon, I was immediately greeted, sat in a comfy chair, allowed to be quiet, (this is so nice of them cuz of my Sweet beautiful Service Dog draws attention!) Hether's and Melanie are Keepers, they understand and perfect hair, they Listen to their customer needs. Lots of parking on the streets, and lots of stores and possibly some good eats around Arvada after some comfy treatment. Holly is an amazing beautician and extremely talented!…read more I've been lucky to get on her schedule for 5 years and each time I get my hair cut she's extremely fast to help me get scheduled, stupendously personable, and always leaves my hair extremely well cut (been getting a modified undercut for years but Holly is always down to test new directions and I trust her steady hand and creative vision without question). As a 35 y/o male with thinning hair, getting compliments on my hair for weeks after Holly helps me has been a constant that I try not to take for granted (but always seem to get from all directions). I've chatted with a few of her other clients and know she has the "chops" to handle more complex hair than mine. Holly's shop always has awesome art, plants, posters, and energy. Very conversation starter space that feels relaxing and rejuvenating weeks after my appointments.
