I finally decided to take a chance and hire Nancy, and I can't tell you what a great decision that was. She's an expert organizer with 20 years of experience, but just as importantly, she has this wonderfully calm energy that makes the whole process feel positive--and somehow even enjoyable. Since then, I've hired her to help me tackle 20+ years of clothing, multiple closets, and now my son's closet. She's so good I keep thinking, "What else can I possibly hire Nancy to organize?" What I didn't expect was how much lighter I would feel afterward. Having less and knowing where everything is has genuinely given me a greater sense of peace and clarity. Hiring someone to help with something I technically could do myself initially felt like a bit of a luxury, but after experiencing the difference it has made, I can honestly say Nancy has been worth the investment.

It's hard to pin down exactly what Nancy Meck's expertise is--because she seems to do everything…read more On paper, she's the master of bringing order to chaos, whether it's a cluttered closet, an out-of-control kitchen, that dreaded junk room, or an entire house. But reducing her to just an organizer would be missing the point entirely. Nancy first came to our home when my wife was juggling too many projects at once and feeling frustrated by the lack of progress. I sure as hell wasn't going to be the one to make sense of it all. Enter Nancy. She didn't just tidy up--she reimagined our space. First, she tackled the office in a way we never would have considered. Then the kitchen. Then the closet. By the time she was done, she probably knew where everything was in our house better than we did. But that was just the warm-up. Fast forward to our international move. The smartest decision we made? Bringing Nancy in to quarterback the whole thing. She handled everything--coordinating realtors, hiring movers, clearing out what we weren't taking--while somehow making an overwhelming process feel completely manageable. But Nancy's real superpower isn't just her ability to organize. It's the confidence she instills in everyone around her. She's unshakable. In all the time I've known her, I've never seen her frustrated or frazzled. When Nancy's involved, stress just doesn't stand a chance.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura over the course of several days to tackle some…read moreof the most chaotic spaces in our home - and the results were nothing short of transformative. First, she began by organizing our basement, which was previously difficult to even walk through without tripping over something. She worked side by side with us to sort through boxes of memorabilia and family heirlooms - a process that could have easily felt overwhelming or emotional, but she approached it with empathy and patience. Her ability to guide us in categorizing items while respecting their sentimental value was remarkable. Due to the size of the project, Laura also brought an assistant one day who was able to help me with basement tasks while she came up with a game plan with my husband to organize his office. Next, she moved onto organizing our garage. With a keen eye for efficiency, she created a practical layout, grouped similar items, installed a clear labeling system, and helped us make full use of our shelving. Instead of my car door constantly hitting the bike and other items around it, the garage now feels accessible and functional! What stood out most is how thoughtful and realistic Laura was throughout the process. She came in with a clear timeline, helped set priorities for each day, and paced the work in a way that kept us engaged without burning out. Her professional yet compassionate approach made the entire experience manageable and left us with a feeling of empowerment and accomplishment. If you're looking for someone who can bring calm to your chaos with kindness, structure, and serious skill - look no further. We highly recommend her!

We were downsizing from a 7-year lived-in townhome to a 2 bedroom apartment with a family of 4. It is very hard for me to get rid of things and not accumulate more things. What I was and am most impressed by with Sasha is her genuine kindness, humility, cheerfulness despite setbacks and obvious passion for truly helping us get to "A Better Life". Most recently, she has done a beautiful job with organizing and providing neat solutions for my walk-in pantry that was atrocious. She has also been instrumental in getting my closet in order. I have adult-diagnosed ADHD, and her approach and kindness towards me and my mind blocks are so refreshing. For these reasons and so many more, A Better Life Organizing company and Sasha will be a cornerstone in my family now and forever. :-) Thank you Sasha for being an angel on Earth. You are such a blessing to my family and so many others. I pray that God continues to pour out His richest blessings on you and your company.

My home was an absolute…read moredisaster, and I couldn't even pick a starting place to declutter, let alone organize anything. Sasha came in twice to help me out. The first time, she made a plan to declutter and organize the main spaces in my home, and she helped me clear out a ton of junk, as well as designing a system for storage. She was kind and supportive while we went through my things, understanding the nostalgia attached to the most ridiculous items, while gently guiding me to get rid of things that were broken or outdated or unused. Sasha has a great network of contractors and was able to arrange for a handyman to take care of minor issues throughout the condo. She helped me sort items for donation and took care of taking them to the charity drop instead of leaving it to me to handle. She gave me 'homework' after every visit, and followed up frequently to offer guidance and motivation. She made the process feel easy and manageable. At the end, I had so much more space and everything had a place of its own to return to after use. My condo felt so much more like a home instead of a storage area. The second time Sasha came to my rescue, I was renovating the condo and needed to get everything packed and into storage in a very short window of time. Sasha and her assistant came in and got it done! She also handled arrangements for junk removal and movers to take everything to a storage unit, which was a huge weight off my shoulders. I would work with Sasha and A Better Life again without any hesitation. She is very responsive, communicates clearly and made a very difficult process as stress free as possible. I would recommend A Better Life to anyone who needs assistance in their decluttering and organizing adventures.

Shortly after our convo, she sent over an email confirmation for our first meeting including the Client Agreement. The document was clear, concise & consistent with our conversation. After our first meeting, I was very excited, and looking forward of the rehab of my apartment, and Shannon exceeded my expectations. Despite this process being a very personal one, she was always professional. She was always on time, and I never felt like she was "riding the clock." Shannon was able to tackle my bedroom, bathroom, linens, shoe closet, kitchen, and laundry room, in addition to finding places for everything else within 3 visits.
