Maid Kept™ began in Atlanta during the pandemic — not as a business plan, but as a lifeline. Our founder, a busy mom juggling everything at once, discovered something she didn't expect: a truly clean, organized home didn't just look better. It changed how she felt, how she worked, how she lived.
She built Maid Kept to give that same experience to others. What started as one woman's personal reset grew into a trusted maid service for Atlanta's busy professionals, families, and high-rise residents.

Hi, I'm Aqeelah, most people call me Lala.
I founded Maid Kept because I lived the problem I now solve. As a busy mom running businesses in Atlanta, I learned firsthand that a consistently clean, organized home isn't a luxury it's the foundation everything else runs on.
I bring 27 years of operations experience to housekeeping, which is why Maid Kept runs differently. Every Keeper is trained in The Kepté Mindset, my standard of precision, discretion, and pride in the details most services miss. Our signature deep clean, The Clean That Changed My Life™, is named after exactly what it did for me.
