When we got our meal hubby ordered the beef and chicken combo shredding pieces on top of rice nice and tender had a lemony taste to it and I had the assorted shredded soft beef on top of seasoned yellow fluffy rice. I couldn't stop eating the rice, but I had to cause I was getting too full that we had take out containers and can I tell you the leftovers was even better! I opted for the chicken shawarma plate, and it was great. Creamy hummus, a light/fresh salad, a good amount of perfectly cooked/seasoned rice, and the fresh shawarma chicken rounded out this great plate. It comes with pitas which was nice for making small sandwiches, and also came with an interesting hot sauce/garlic sauce. A quarter of my plate was lettuce with raw onion (which I really love to eat on my sandwiches). There were Also two pieces of naan that were both about the same size as the plate. My husband had the Butter Chicken and he says it was good and unlike any other Butter Chicken he has tried in the past (other places make it with more of a tomato flavor). It also came with rice (he could choose rice or naan) The Shish Kabob meal includes rice or naan on the menu... but she told us that there is a separate charge for this. She said prices for Halal meat have gone up. She did not charge us this time but will next time and instead of $8.99 for the Shish Kabob meal, we were charged $9.99 which is not a big deal. They also automatically add a 15% gratuity charge to the bill. I have seen a charge like this at other restaurants for large groups but never just for me and my husband. If they don't include the naan or the rice I don't think it would be very filling, I would rather see them have an updated menu with the correct (increased) pricing which includes naan or rice. If this is not an option, at least tell us when we are ordering. If you plan on dining here I suggest asking for pricing if your paying with cash to make sure you have enough money with you. The chicken quality was no good and the dish reminded me of leftovers that had been in the fridge for days. Ate a few spoonfuls, had my husband try it to make sure it wasn't just me ( it sure wasn't) and threw the entire thing in the trash. Gross
