Nice dining area inside and out. Service was great, had many recommendations provided without asking. Nice parking lot out back for easy access.

Outside, to the right is passageway to parking

This place is right across from the big Piedmont hospital Marcus heart center. There is street parking if you can safely get it but probably best to park in the lot behind, just enter along side of CVS Then walk through a short passage and your there. This is a one man operation and it appears the guy is the owner. He is friendly and accommodating. There are tables inside and outside where you can eat there, or take it to go You can pretty much see all the options as the food is in these metal bins and he assembles your order in front of you. I presume since he is alone he fills these bins before opening. He makes each order from those bins. He stayed pretty busy when I was there. You see it all too as you are one side and he is on the other. I was there about 130p and he was already out of one of the meats. What he has was room temp and probably already sitting in the bin for some time. The finished menu item I got was room temperature. I expect others get the same. I have had shawarma many places before and when it is served warm it is far superior. So for that reason, 3 stars max here.

There was indoor and outdoor seating and we chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful night. We had amazing service, great food, in a really cute neighborhood. We were especially impressed with the staff, and we had a member come out more than once to check with one of the people dining with us who had food allergies to ensure that how they were offering the food would be safe for her. It was also impressive that this restaurant was so busy on a Monday night. There were three of us dining, and we didn't even order any of the meats, and there was plenty of food for us. From the Mazzes, we had the Omani Shrimp, which had a great dipping sauce and the Beet Carpaccio. (they were very accommodating and put the whipped feta on the side). For the Spreads, we did the hummus with mushroom, shisito and egg, which was amazing and the labneh with pickled fennel on the top. It's served with taftoun bread which I would describe as a mix of a cracker and pita with sesame on top. We also enjoyed a raw vegetable dish with radish and the most delicious apple slices. Their heirloom tomato salad was beautifully presented and plentiful. They had a flight of condiments and we were able to sample zhoug, spicy tahina and torshi, which was a mixture of pickled vegetables. We ended with a pistachio lava cake with the most delicious cardamon gelato. Overall, we had an amazing meal in their beautiful outdoor space, and we thought the food was really reasonably priced. There's something for everyone on this menu whether you're vegetarian, vegan or a meat eater.

We were greeted by smiles and a welcoming team at the host table and I quickly appreciated the Mediterranean charm of the restaurant -- I felt like I could have been in Rick's Cafe Americain or the Blue Parrot! The dim lighting offered a great blend of intimacy and privacy, while still letting me see the people at my table and the food! And the food! My goodness, the food! We had a wonderful sampling of shared appetizers. The hummus and Dill labneh were solid and would have been deemed more than worthy by my Lebanese grandmother! Olives were a revelation, and were done in a preparation that included pomegranate which paired really well with the brine of the olives! The star of the first round, however, was the whole cauliflower, roasted and spiced. Without reservation, I can say it is the most I have ever enjoyed cauliflower - and I shall return for it again! I was already full by the time my falafel arrived for my main course. Falafel was exactly as it was supposed to be, and it was good. I ate it all, and then, a la Violet Beauregard upon leaving the chocolate factory, had to be rolled out of the restaurant! Our server and his food runners were all gems! The manager also came by to chat with us a couple of times. Great people at Delbar!

The restaurant itself is gorgeous, warm, inviting and calming. We were sat out on the covered patio section, with the lovely wisteria above us and a water feature behind our table. We chose to have the Spring Tasting menu, which includes a mezze platter to start with bread, your choice of entree and a dessert platter. I chose the Kafta and my husband chose the chicken shawarma. The entrees come with a generous side of Lebanese rice. We also ordered the City of Salt cocktail and a mocktail. Starting with the drinks, they were tart, tasty and refreshing. Everything was great, but the mezze platter was the highlight. The babaganoush was the best I've ever had. It had a deep, smoky flavor and was garnished with pomegranate seeds which provided such a great burst of sweet to balance out the savory. The stuffed grape leaves and falafel were also standouts. We also ordered the pickle plate because it was calling to us and what a great idea that was! The flavors here are very intense and might not be for everyone. But if you really like pickles you should give them a try. The pickled beets were our favorite. Our entrees continued the same theme of being positively packed with great flavors. The harissa and toum complimented the meats very well. And the grilled vegetables and rice rounded everything out perfectly. The baklava on the dessert platter was also the standout. This is not the baklava you'd buy at the grocery store and was the perfect end to our meal. It's not overly sweet and is balanced with a slight savory flavor, and the texture was fantastic. There was a depth of flavor in everything that shows care and consideration while crafting the menu at Zakia. You can also see this care in the decor and ambience. I will absolutely come back again in the future and would happily recommend Zakia. I would lastly like to thank our waitress Helen in particular for making our experience so lovely. She was so friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a nicer night. Everyone at Zakia made my birthday a memorable one.

The ambiance is stunning--featuring a flower-covered ceiling, a beautiful bar, and plenty of seating. The service was excellent, and the drinks were a major highlight; both the cocktails and mocktails were impressive, especially the Sunset in Tyre and the Habibi Colada. The food was incredibly fresh and vibrant. We started with the quail, whipped feta, and shrimp, followed by the brussel sprouts, batata harra, and a mixed platter. While everything was delicious, the quail, brussel sprouts, lamb, and Lebanese rice were the true standouts. Highly recommend for a stylish night out!

I went for lunch with a friend for a bday outing. Since it's cold, there's a black covering that makes it looks closed, but don't worry, they're open. The inside is clean and pretty much looks new. We were greeted by a hostess when we got in and promptly seated. We started our meal with the hummus and lentil soup. The hummus is the smoothest I've ever had and was paired with some warmed up pita. I'm usually not a big fan of lentils but the soup was good. The broth had a nice flavor. I got the half order of Shish Tawook for myself and my friend got the falafel wrap. The half is quite filling and still very delicious. The chicken was moist for the most part as in between the pieces they felt kinda overcooked but all in all very good and seasoned well. The vegetables were also seasoned well. The hummus came topped with fried chickpeas, which was such a nice addition-- I'd never had them prepared that way before, and the crunch added great texture. The fries had a nice cut and flavor, but they weren't as crispy as I'd hoped. I'd order the hummus again, though probably not the fries. Once we finished our appetizers, we were escorted to our table, which ended up being a pretty tight fit. We were seated at a two-person table between two larger groups of four, so it felt a bit cramped. Honestly, had we known the seating situation beforehand, we would've dined at the bar since it felt much more comfortable for dining and conversation. By that point, we were slightly full from the appetizers, so we decided to share just the Hanger Steak and the Polo Sefid. The steak smelled incredible and tasted just as good-- definitely a great choice! As for the rice, I may have gone in with high expectations after seeing so many pictures of it on social media, but for me, it was just decent. My boyfriend and I weren't huge fans of it since the grains kept getting stuck in our teeth. The service throughout the night was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was warm and welcoming. Our server, Lance, was attentive and helpful with recommendations, refills, and checking in on us. I also loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. From walking through the doors and sitting down, everything was pretty. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend checking out Delbar!

I had no trouble entering my order, but was unable to pay because the kiosk's tap-to-pay wasn't working. So I dug out a physical card and tried swiping the card. That also failed. I got out a card with a chip and inserted that card, and finally was able to pay. About that time an employee came out and gave me a warm greeting. I also asked the kiosk to print out a receipt, which it failed to do. Nor did the employee provide one with my order. I asked the employee if I could get a cup and get my drink while my food was cooking, which he allowed (but hadn't offered). I noticed the peach and lemonade drinks were nearly empty (see my photo), but since I was getting a soft drink from the fountain it didn't cause me an issue. Their fountain isn't balanced and an excess of CO2 caused the dispenser to spit out mostly foam and it took a long time to fill my small cup. Speaking of which, a small drink costing $3.25 seems a bit steep to me, although the food items seam more reasonably priced. The dining room is small and all the hard surfaces and cheap metal chairs and stools makes for a cold, uncomfortable, and uninviting space. There is also a bar at the front window with stools. The food was surprisingly tasty. I had the gyro platter with feta and a side of tzatziki sauce added. The meat was very thinly sliced but good quality and a generous portion. The feta topping was pretty bland and unimpressive quality. The tzatziki sauce was good. The fires were crisp and nicely seasoned. The pita was the thinnest I've ever seen, but were soft.
