The white sauce couldn't be more flavourful. The spicy sauce was a hit with me. Nothing special about the side salad. So due to pricing I might try it again but nothing stood out as a shawarma place. I've been to this fairly new shawarma place a few times in the past few months. I really wish this place was a lot closer to where I live as I would make weekly trips here or at least every other week! There are a lot of shawarma places out there for sure but this one has delicious eats for amazing prices! The current promo is $8 for 2 regular sized shawarmas (or falafel wraps) or you can get a generously stuffed shawarma plate for the same price. I usually get the chicken shawarma, falafel wrap or the mixed plate, which are all flavourfully stuffed with choice of protein, veggies, seasonings, rice, hot sauce and garlic sauce. I really hope they keep this deal for a long time as you get so much for what you pay for - such a steal! It takes some time for food to be made after ordering at the register but it's worth the wait as the staff are nice and their food always tastes so fresh and looks carefully put together. Located at the corner of Dundas and Wolfedale just down Mavis. This is a very clean place with friendly owners & staff! Hope they keep their price for a while longer (2 for $8 shawarma!) Your choice of beef, chicken, mixed, or falafel. Hot sauce was really spicy for me!! The shawarmas are toasted in a panzerotti shape and they are pretty hefty in size! My favourite is the beef shawarma with extra garlic sauce. Falafels ok, kind of crumbly in texture and not as dark in colour. Update: finally got to try their rice platter! Garlic sauce is yummy and Afghan style rice. Well seasoned too. You can ask for half fries and half rice. Also they use costco style fries and theyre the best! So crispy. Dropped by this after seeing all the good reviews as a post workout meal. Given that even fast food and cheap meals costs $9+ tax these, to see something under $8 was quite refreshing. I ordered the falafel plate (w/o garlic sauce - as that contains dairy) for $7.99. It came with 6 falafels, a heaping portion of rice (which wasn't plain white rice, but it seemed to be possibly long grain or basmati rice?) and the standard Mediterranean vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, radish, pickles, tabouleh, etc.) and hot sauce. I thought the meal was quite tasty but not overly greasy (unlike some places that serve similar dishes). The falafels were cooked very well too. I read good Google reviews, but I'm always skeptical so I had to try it for myself! Absolutely no complaints about their 2/$7.99 wrap special! I was able to substitute a falafel instead of another shawarma. Sizes were quite big, hot sauce is fairly HOT. Not "White man" hot. Man who took my order was friendly and had a smile. The rest of their menu is quite affordable, considering their competitors price. I'm guessing it's low for now as they just recently opened. I love this place!! Just wanted to say that off the bat. The shawarma scene in Mississauga has been sad lately with the closure of many solo spots & the downfall of many of the big chains. There are such few restaurants now that give you fresh, quality food that is worth the continually rising prices. Whenever I go to a Middle Eastern restaurant, I usually order a platter. I love that it gives you a variety of a carb with salads, dips & pickle in one plate that you can enjoy your way. For me it's also a way to check the level of freshness & authenticity the restaurant is offering. Shawarma Flavors has been open for just 3 months in a busy auto mall near Mavis & Dundas. When I went, there were a few takeout customers waiting for orders and the owner was prepping everything with another employee. Service was fast and happy - they were both so nice and happy to add extra garlic (love!). I got a mix platter (chicken & beef) to go which had half rice & half salad (tossed & tabouleh) as the base with the meat & sauces on top. It was prepared with care - the rice & meat were hot, salads were cool & crisp, the dips weren't flat or watery like a lot of other places. I noticed that even the turnip pickles were better quality than what I've been getting at bigger chains! It was a big, full platter for $7.99+tax - wheeeeere can you see prices like that for a good meal??? I really enjoyed every bite! They have a special going on right now - 2 shawarma wraps for $7.95 which sounds great too! Judging by the platter, I'm sure the wraps will also be made well. The service was nice here but neither my friend nor I can approve of the food. Initially this place caught my eye on yelp as the pictures look similar to the Halal Guys carts they have in NYC. (Quality of the Halal Guys here is not at all the same). We were hoping this could be a fun new local dupe so we were pretty excited to try the food here. We both ordered mix plates with all the fixings so we can try the chicken and the beef, this was takeout but we were in and out in about 10 minutes. The flavour of our shawarma plates were just... off to us. There was this strong vinegar-like flavour (not sure) in the rice that we both could not get past. it was overpowering the flavour of the chicken and the beef. This place opened up right in my neighbourhood. I'm a fan of Osmow's and Lazeez, but since they are within walking distance, I thought I'd give them a shot. The food here is great! The shawarma is very flavourful and the vegetables they use taste fresh. Their opening special is a great deal (2 shawarma wraps for $7.49). Seating space is limited, but I've never had an issue finding a place to sit while waiting for my food. Just a note, they don't take credit cards. read more

Was just sooo hungry and everything was closed so I went here and I specifically asked for sauce on the side and they put their white sauce all over my shawarma dish.... I hate when things are too saucy and it was drenched. Not to mention their sauce was gross it tasted like chalk. It was definitely not garlic sauce. They only accept debt or cash ( no credit cards) which i see it as a negative point, I usually use visa card -i was lucky to have some change - In general I loved this place and will come back to it . Nice place on Dundas West in Mississauga. It is quite new and clean. The menu is a marvel in simplicity. The main dishes come in at$10 including tax which is a deal (but no flat bread). Picked up two chicken shawarma wraps and one mixed shawarma platter. The first bite of the wrap was a mouthful of garlic sauce, not the best first impression but once you eat a little more its not that bad only complaint is it was a pretty thin shawarma barely any meat in there. The mixer grill platter was ok for me it wasen't balanced enough to much acidity maybe if there was some cucumbers on the salad it would cut some of that acidity instead they give you two thin slices of tomato and pickles. The beef was pretty dry and looked kind of old pretty sure it was from the day before. Flavours are not bad just need to balance them out and quality of products should be improved. You know when someone cooks with love you can taste it.... I dont get that from this place. read more

I tried the beef shawarma and the chicken shawarma. Both were terrible. They had a weird taste to them, that I've never had in a shawarma. I didn't like the way they wrapped their shawarma either. I tried the beef wrap and plate and the meat is succulent, not overly dry or gamey or overly salty. Also their prices are hard to beat. 7.99 for two good size wraps or a plate the can feed two people and the food tastes great? That's hard to pass up.
