Tried this place out for the first time as it was recommended by a coworker. Ordered the lamb and it was extremely delicious and flavourful. They give a lot of rice and lamb as you can see from the pictures- had enough for lunch the next day too. Food came out fairly quick and the staff were very polite and friendly. The inside of the restaurant and the washrooms were clean. They also have a drive through option which is a nice bonus! Overall, would definitely come back and try their other dishes!

This is my absolute favorite place to eat. The food is incredible, and the customer service is truly the best in Mississauga. I feel so lucky to have found this amazing restaurant; hands down some of the greatest food ever. Thank you so much for everything. Wajdi provides the best customer service I've ever experienced and always takes such amazing care of me. He is incredibly kind and generous, and that's a big reason why I keep coming back, along with the outstanding food.

The second you walk in, you are embraced by the essence of lamb but you adjust quickly. There are booths, tables and floor seating available which I thought was a unique feature which caters well for this particular type of culinary experience. They offer complementary coffee which was extremely watered down but nice gesture regardless. Onto the food, I got a mixed plate which was accompanied with a lentil soup. The soup itself was tasty but watered down. The rice was absolutely delicious, each bite was full of flavour. The chicken was cooked to perfection and was falling of the bone. The lamb itself was cooked well and very easy to eat. The food itself is very basic, Rice and Chicken but since it's very enriched with flavour it works. A Salad would have elevated this dish to another level. Overall, it was good

I loved my experience trying out Mandi for the first time at Mandi Afandi. The restaurant is located near the Dixie Auto Mall in Mississauga, close to the 401 exit. It's in a large plaza with other various restaurants and plenty of parking. You order your food, cafeteria style, as you order and pay, then they assign you a table. They deliver your food to the table once is ready. We ordered the two lamb dishes, the Haneedh (spice marinated lamb, grilled on low heat) and the Zurbian (slow cooked lamb with potatoes and caramelized onions). They start you off with a Lentils soup that's included with the dishes. The lamb was so tender that it literally fell off the bones. No knife was required. The rice was so good and flavorful. I'm definitely coming back to try the rest of their menu.

The Ambiance is casual with the Saudi/Yeamni traditional music transform you to the lands far away. Food is spot on and many various varieties of Emarati, Yemen and Saudi style of biryani. Must go again! Service is counter style but very fast.

I have always heard about the Mandi. This is the result from my search on Uber eats. It really was an amazing experience. The rice was long-shape and dry, but very flavorful. The lamp was not very tender, but still delicious. The fried onion is very special. I actually love it! The soup tasted very good, like some melted potatoes and something I could not recognize. However for the Kunefe, it was a bit too sweeter for me ( I am not a sweet tooth), though i love the crunchy feeling in my mouth.

Nice little gem for Yemenite food. Fantastic rice and lamb dish.

Large portions. Plates can easily be shared with two people. They have delicious free black tea, spiced Arabic coffee and dates. Kunafa was delicious abd not overly sweet. Beat are counted very well... they fall off the bone!!! Will be back.

They were also slow to refill the buffet (the kebab took at least 45 mins & the drinks got quite empty too) & they started packing up at 855pm, 5 mins before the official 9pm end. Nothing was labelled except coffee & tea so unless you know what you're eating you'll need to actively find out. Though it was $55, the only seafood items were fried fish (with quite soft flesh), grilled whole fish & odd deep fried shrimp (even less recognizable as shrimp than Japanese restaurant deep fried shrimp [ebi fry]). Most desserts were disappointing. Drinks included with the buffet were coffee, tea, tamarind water?, orange cordial & Vimto. There was live music, but half the tables were smoking shisha so the room got quite smoky after a while. It looks like they put sparklers on birthday cakes (or allow that anyway) which is fun.

The seasoning was nothing fancy but it was good lamb so the simplicity brought out the natural flavour of lamb. Unfortunately the bread got soggy because it was put underneath everything. The fries were dusted so they had a nice crunch. They were also slightly seasoned, giving them a hint of more complex flavour. The meat quzi (lamb shank) came with 2 types of flavoured rice. The shank itself was ok but there was no sauce for either the lamb or the rice so it was slightly dry overall. There was a lot of rice. The shank portion was OK. It was also served with baked beans - presumably the (Maraga) Yegi broth of the day. That was really weird since it was plain baked beans. Tanoor bread on the side was decent - it's just a long flatbread. Raisin juice (zabeeb) tasted like it sounds. The lentil soup was very plain. Otherwise it was ok. While waiting for my order I helped myself to the free hot tea (sweetened to taste), which was pretty good.

The family was actually sitting down to dinner at the end of the day when I arrived approximately an hour before close. It was wonderful to see them eating together. I was immediately greeted by one of the employees. He was very friendly and allowed me to take my time. I wanted to try a falafel because I love to try several menu items. He accommodated that and allowed me to order a single falafel patty to try. I was stuck between choosing the Palmyra Platter or the Mixed Shawarma plate because, as I said, I like to try several items. I ended up choosing the mixed shawarma plate and ordered it as is. The falafel was crispy and I could taste the herbs mixed in. The sauce drizzled over the top was the perfect addition. I was so glad I tried it. I was so eager to taste it that I forgot to get a photo. I chose the mixed shawarma plate thinking it would be a more manageable serving for me to finish than the Palmyra platter. I was sorely mistaken. It was easily enough food for at least 2 people. This was well worth the price point. The salad was fresh and crispy with a good variety of vegetables in it. I really enjoyed the vinaigrette they used for it as well; just tangy enough. The chicken and beef were crispy on the outside and tender inside. They had good flavor and were not dry at all. The spicy potatoes were a tad spicy for me but I still ate them. The rice was ok in my opinion. I had enough left over to eat a second time. I will definitely visit here again on a subsequent trip so I can try more of their menu items. Overall this was a good experience for me.
