The purchasing experience of the 2024 Tesla Model 3 was one of the most frustrating I have ever had. The communication from the Shaw GMC team was, at best, disrespectful. Due to an issue with my insurance profile, I decided to switch from financing to paying for the vehicle in cash. Because I was concerned that the process would not be changed in time before the first bank charge, I had to call Shaw GMC around eight times. None of the staff members were available to take my call, and no one could even tell me when someone would return it. None of my messages were answered, and I had to become extremely upset just to speak with a manager. At the time of vehicle delivery, I noticed a defect in the rear left door. This is a serious issue, as the door does not fully seal and compromises the vehicle's safety. This problem was never disclosed during the sale. When I brought it up, I was told someone would contact me about it, possibly to send the vehicle to a body shop. That never happened. Adding to the poor experience, the vehicle was not delivered fully charged, despite this being clearly promised at the time of purchase. This shows a complete lack of basic care and professionalism. To make matters worse, after I took the car home, the dealership contacted me to say they had installed the wrong license plate on my vehicle, meaning the plate belonged to another car. This put me at serious risk if I had been stopped by the police. On top of that, I had to interrupt my workday and wait for someone to come to my home to replace the plate with the correct one, which clearly impacted my daily commitments. All of this might have been overlooked if the service provided by Shaw GMC had been respectful and honest, but that was not the case at any point during the purchase experience. It is completely unacceptable that, when purchasing such an expensive item, there is no transparency or quality customer service at a dealership like this. I will never do business with this dealership again and do not recommend it to anyone. read more

My family has always had GMC vehicles. This was my immediate families first experience buying a new vehicle and I would never go back to Shaw GMC. We test drove a new 2026 Terrain and liked the vehicle but wanted memory seats. We were told that they could get us one with memory seats so we started negotiations. We finally landed on a price and Shaw GMC agreed to throw in car mats to sweeten the deal. We signed the preliminary bill of sale but were told that the VIN would change when they found us the vehicle with memory seats. The next day Shaw had located the vehicle for the deal and went to pick it up. I have text messages with the salesperson confirming that the sales manager approved him going to pick the vehicle up and the price would not change. An hour or so later we started to hear that the price may change as the memory seats come with a tech package that is more costly. So Shaw GMC decided to change our sale price. When I spoke with the sales manager over the phone, he said that I was lying and that he never told his salesperson that the price would be the same. I asked for a refund on my deposit and the sales manager said "there will be no refund, the deal is for this specific VIN number" which we both knew was not the vehicle that was negotiated. So, I loaded my family into our vehicle to go to Shaw GMC and talk with the sales manager and the salesperson to sort this out, but when we got there, the salesperson was sent home for the day, so he could not validate our side of the story. To this day the salesperson has not replied to any communications with us. We ended up having to pay more for our vehicle and at the end of the renegotiations the sales manager wrote into the agreement, that we were to give them a 5-star review. I am writing today with a one-star review because we still haven't received our mats that were written into the deal 3 months ago and both the salesperson and sales manager are no longer responsive. I hope GMC reads these reviews because no customer should have to go through this type of treatment when making a major purchase like buying a new vehicle. read more

Edit: as you can see in the photo attached, the sales manager, Robert Mantei admits that vehicles bought at this location are expected to have some "wear and tear". For your own peace of mind, stay away. Recent Experience February 2025 I recently purchased a used Jetta from this dealership. The salesman ensured me that the vehicle was mechanically sound, reliable and ready to drive off the lot. Unfortunately, this was incorrect. Within the first 10 kms of driving the vehicle, I noticed a constant sound, indicating the car was not in prime condition. I contacted the dealership right away, asking to have this sound inspected. Note this was the day I picked up the car. After some back and forth, the dealership finally agreed to look at the car. After an entire day, I was informed the dealership was unable to determine what was wrong with my car. In fact, when I went to pick it up, they told me nothing was wrong with it but the sound was still there. I called for the mechanics to come back out and they did agree the sound was not normal and they would need to look at it again. I dropped the car off a few days later, which required me to miss yet another day of work. I was told the AC compressor belt and tensioner need to be replaced and was quoted $1250.00. This entire experience has been extremely disappointing as I feel I participated in a dishonest deal. The reluctance for the dealership to look at my car, their apparent disinterest, or perhaps incompetence, in correctly diagnosing my car, and then charging me an absorbent price to fix something they likely knew was wrong with the car when they sold it to me demonstrates extremely distasteful business practices. read more

Further to Mike's response; my warranty was in good standing as proven by the package of email correspondence from their own employees and prior management that I sent to the General Manager. Although my advisors were prepared to go much further, I didn't get into that aspect on a yelp review as the issue is mute based on the 'lifetime" clause. This is why however I am not interested purchasing a new vehicle from this dealership. My review is on the "lifetime" aspect of the warranty coverage - if a buyer determines they are okay with the clause and how it limits the length of coverage, that is their decision to make. read more

I dropped off my 2011 GMC Sierra for an oil change and a set of new winter tires. Part way through the appointment, a service rep notified me that their mechanic had accidentally cracked one of the chrome-clad wheel covers. She apologized and said they would order a replacement. I made a follow-up appointment and returned the following Saturday, waiting for two hours while the shop replaced the damaged wheel. The replacement wheel cover was in poor condition - the chrome cladding was flaking, pitted with corrosion, stained with rust and dull in overall appearance from years of neglect. This was in stark contrast to the mint condition of my original wheel covers, which I routinely clean and polish to prevent weather-related damage. I pointed out my concern to the service rep, asking if they could find a wheel cover in better condition. A few days later, she informed me that her manager disagreed with my assessment and requested that I come back a third time for the service manager to see the issue first hand. The following Saturday I met with an employee who appeared to be the shift supervisor. I showed her the corrosion, flaking and rust stains on the replacement wheel cover. She dismissed my concerns, insisting that the replacement was in the same condition as the original. She then took a photo of the wheel and said she would speak with the service manager. I have not heard back. I'm not upset with Shaw GMC for breaking my wheel cover. I'm upset that they replaced it with an inferior product and sent me on a wild goose chase when I voiced my concerns. I gave them multiple opportunities to make things right. My plan now is to order a new wheel cover and install it myself. Bottom line: they lost a long-term customer over a $100 hubcap. read more

Very personable GM at this dealership. Great to deal with, and I plan to use the the people at Shaw for future vehicle and auto body needs.

I believe that this organization is doing its best to provide excellent customer service and competent efficient auto repairs and maintenance. And yes, the field is so competitive because the tire, lube, and other peripheral operations have entered the field, but this is good, as I think the competition has made the whole industry more trustworthy. When I first talked to service about the failing heat and inconsistent readings on my dash gauges, I had to firmly request honest competent service. Over the years I and others have experienced being maltreated and cheated on auto repairs, and so it was that I wanted some assurances that they will honestly do what's required and no more. They so reassured me... Took it in and left it for almost 2 days: they found that both the water pump and thermostat for the cooling system had packed it in: thus that there was no heat in the cabin and odd over-heating things happening even in -20C temps. They diagnosed the problem effectively, and without charge repaired the car on what remained on my 'powertrain warranty' (had it been more than 5 years, likely I'd be out of pocket $500-1000 for the work they did, as Shaw's exploratory diagnostic alone is $169). Drove away in a revitalized car if cabin heat is any indication. So cool ... so warm! Would I recommend Shaw GMC? Even though they are not close to amenities like restaurants or a nearby mall, their shuttle service is doing its best (Nick), their waiting area is cozy enough with newspapers, TV, and fresh machine coffee, and their service department is on the ball (Dan and others). My wife and I are glad for Shaw's overall honesty and competence! Even if you don't own a Chevrolet, in a pinch Shaw will likely do good by you no matter what you drive. Our next oil change goes there! read more

The dealership and service department are unreal, been dealing with them for years. however the collision department and my dealings with tony the manager, were horrible. Ive bought a half dozen Denali duramax's from them over the years and last year I hit a couple deer and had the repairs to radiator/intercooler/body done there. I went to pick up the truck after it was "repaired", and things went downhill. my buddy from sales met me there on his day off because of the actual dealerships commitment to customer service. the truck was a mess, there was no interior or exterior cleaning done. On top of this the box had a bunch of loose parts and garbage from the repairs rolling around. It was supposed to have had its 36k service done but my buddy had no paperwork or knowledge of this being done even though I was told it was and my gps said it was completed. I took the truck and hit the road and was only a couple blocks up Blackfoot when the truck lit up like a Christmas tree and went into limp mode. It was overheating and the dash said critical engine, transmission, and coolant levels were I. effect. I barely made it off the exit in heavy traffic and no gears. The transmission was toast and turns out there were no fluids in the truck. upon further investigation and phone calls I was actually told over the phone that they knew it was leaking fluids because it had to keep being topped up. Nobody thought to mention this and said it was repaired. Not to mention it was brought down and parked at the dealership and said to have been serviced, which if it had, would've shown that it was leaking. The truck was toast. They gave me bottom value on the trade in due to the Allison transmission being shot. As well as all the other damage. Tony was greasy and didn't live Upto the high regard I have for the rest of the dealership, and as a certified repair center. I could've very easily injured or killed myself or someone else on the road due to negligence. They put all the additional repairs on my insurance and said there was no way they could've known! What about driving it with all the codes going off and knowing it was leaking.? Dealership and service department are great, don't goto the body shop/collision center. read more

I recently had my 2008 Pontiac G6 into Shaw GMC for regular service and once again received exceptional service. I dropped off my vehicle in the morning, received a call that it was ready and when I went to pick-up my vehicle, it had been washed and was ready to go. The bill was as quoted and they took the time to go through my next recommended services to ensure my vehicle stays in "tip-top" condition. I have dealt with Shaw for several years now (both for purchasing and servicing of my vehicles) and they have always looked after all of my vehicle needs. Anytime I have a question or concern, they always get back to me quickly, explain what is going on (in layman's terms) and my pricing is always as quoted. I would highly recommend them when considering the purchase or service of your next vehicle!!! read more

The worst service. Unfortunately got them to do oil change and alignment. And a diagnose Took them 4 days to do that and left the shop with wrong alignment and broken lognut. Trouble service.!!!! I bought a car there I was not happy with the service and the screwing me around. the car ad said it came with a remote control.it did not come with remote.i still have none. I have the ad I argued with the sales man and the manager.the manager started saying you need to buy a remote control or they said they would take it off another used car when it came in. 3 months later I still have no remote no response back . I finally got ahold of the manager again .i said hey give me a remote control the ad says remote control he offered for me to pay out of pocket $300 to program and buy new remotes. I wrote a long winded review in their site about a failed box liner. it is a spray in box liner which they sprayed without Any type of prep work whatsoever it has failed almost immediately. I also paid extra for the spray on undercoating, which was sprayed right over mud etc, and all over the exhaust system causing the truck to stink of burning rubber for weeks after getting it home. They are unwilling to come up with any sort of reasonable offer to make me at Least a bit satisfied. I couldn't be more unhappy with the workmanship from the Shaw bodyshop. They have said I could bring it back and leave it there a couple days and they would cover the liner under warranty, but I am from out of town so by the time I get a hotel room, rent a car to get around, time lost from work etc it'll cost me way more then the liner is worth. All I was looking for was even a partial refund on the cost so that I can put that toward getting this box liner removed ( (super easy job) and getting a new one from a reputable body shop (whitestorm in Cranbrook does amazing work) read more

Absolutely horrible customer service, from the used cars management to the service and parts. Bob and John are nothing but snakes in the dealership world, I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere and not let them take advantage of you and your money. They sold me something without releasing information that any person with a little human decency would tell you. I took the car back hours after I brought it home and they tried to cover it up and offer me something else where I had to pay MORE money for something not broken after what they already sold me. They take advantage of their employees and had my sales person quit in regards to this situation, very very sad people. Please don't give them your business. They have been reported. Terrible!!! I dealt with Michael, one of the sales coordinators trying to buy a Jeep for 2 days. All he did was run me around and pass me off to people who had no idea what I was talking about. Kept promising people would get back to me. Ignored calls and texts. They're losing a sale because of him. I also left messages for John and Piotr to try and resolve this and they ignored me as well. I bought a new truck a year and a half ago. Within 6 months I had two broken piston arms, but I was assured they would be fixed and the truck would be good as new. After six weeks of it sitting in the shop I finally got it back. I had mentioned I would prefer to have the truck replaced, but they declined saying they wouldn't. Almost exactly a year to the day later I am back in the shop having fuel injectors replaced. I am not hard on the truck at all, no off roading or anything like that it only has 26k kilometres on the truck, so fuel injectors should not need replacing at this point, again I tell them it's a lemon and I want it replaced. They again decline. Brushing me off. Within the last week I was contacted several times by the sales manager telling me he had a buyer from the states looking to buy used vehicles like my truck who is willing to pay above market value.At first I'm seeing red flags, but when I find out it is in fact Shaw contacting me I decide what can it hurt to go talk. The sales manager 'Curt' assures me the assessment will only take 15-20 minutes so I go in. The assessment lasted nearly two hours. I explain to the sales rep my payments etc. They offer me about a thousand more than I owe on my truck (I made a down payment of 15k initially) and tell me my new payments would be nearly twice as much. I looked at my truck on several sites, most having more kilometres than mine and they are listed at 10-15 thousand more than the dealership offered me. So much for a buyer willing to over pay. I smelled a scam from the start, but thought they were better than that. Has been a horrible experience read more

A few months ago I booked an oil change like I usually do. At the point of booking I was told they couldn't give me shuttle service. I've dealt with them for about a decade & was surprised & disappointed. But that's not the end of my ordeal. The booking agent said she'd make an exception to her supervisors new policy and provide me shuttle service. I agree to get my oil change; however, was driven home BUT could get shuttle service to pick me up. Found my own way back to pickup my vehicle not after being told I'd have to wait another day. When I picked up my vehicle I was told nobody wanted to pick me up. So, now even makes by a complaint was lead to believe I couldn't lodge a complaint either. I come from a community that bought a huge amount of vehicles from this dealership. For them to suspend such a service & for their drivers to refuse to pick me up despite numerous calls of "they are on their way..." my vehicle is due for another oil change & I really don't want to go back there. I have 20 free oil change points with any GMC dealership. Can I go somewhere else? I'm just saying every time I go here it's an issue with something or other. I made a complaint directly to their head office in Ontario but really no apology or guarantee for shuttle service anytime I go back. read more

I just bought a vehicle at Shaw GMC and it has been a horrible experience. I had problems with it the first day I got it. It randomly will not go into gear and then I am stuck and blocking traffic. They had assured me that if something happened in the first week they would take care of it. When I had problems they recommended that I take it to a Kia dealership. They don't answer phone calls. They have told me that they tried to call me (my phone works) when they obviously hadn't. They has so far offered me not compensation. I am surprised they are still in business. read more

I've reviewed before but it appears to not have shown up :/ WORST company ever and even worse if you're a Single Woman. I got nothing I was promised: - keyless entry - on-Star free for six months - bluetooth You know...all those things you would expect on a vehicle made in 2015. Despite being told all those things were features on my truck, not one of them were delivered. I did get told after the fact that I should have asked better questions, questions I did ask btw and was lied to straight to my face! I have not encountered such a LACK of KNOWLEDGE of their own Inventory ever, I'm talking ALL of the staff they kept throwing at me - not a SINGLE person knew ANYTHING about my truck. They just randomly lie then send you on your way, like you're not going to figure the lie out. They simply look at it like it's their first day on the job. When asked to respond to me by Email only, I get zero response - not unexpected for a company that literally every word they spew is a LIE, would definitely not want to put in writing their false promises, right? Even when handing them their own mail, sent to my house, with my new truck's description would they honour their promise...."yea, that's just spam, sorry but no, you don't get that" Truly AWFUL people taking advantage of Single Women while promoting to help them - Disgusting! Was promised a 45 day check-up - on them - another pile of crap, they just wanted me to use up one of the oil changes I'm supposed to get free (which I still don't believe) - 45 days and my truck needs an oil change, really? They won't respond to me via email and I think they believe I will just cower away as they expect a Single woman on her own to do - well guess what Shaw, it's not happening! You WILL honour your promises or you WILL take your piece of junk back! I have brought my 08 avalanche in twice last year. both times the planned service work ended up with a bunch of other things that need repair .... $600 planned job escalates to $3000 I imagine the quality of work is good but I hate it when they insist its life or death for a bunch of work that never caused issues driving. read more

They are just so unprofessional. Worst service I've ever got in automotive industry! I was there for a test drive, the guy was crying to sell me a car. Felt so uncomfortable that left. After couple month he is still following up and bagging to make a sell. Stupid! Never had such experience in any place. Won't accept a free car from them, since the guy probably will be in my trunk. This review is for the service center only. Worst customer experience of my life. Avoid this service center at all costs. I brought my 2008 Equinox in Feb 6, 2018. I met with Virginia O'Dine (apparently does not work there anymore) and explained that I had issues with my doors not locking electronically, and that I had a warning light on that said Service Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS). I was told that they could fix the locks, but they could not do anything about the TPMS because one of my tires had a bulge and it was not safe to take it off and put it back on. BUT, no problem, because I could buy new tires from them for $700. I did not think I needed new tires (side note: I had purchased the tires from THIS service center only a couple years previously) but I was busy at work and trusted what I was being told so I just agreed. Virginia told me the total cost for everything would be $1915. I said go ahead, put on the new tires, fix the TPMS, and fix the locks on the doors, thank you. I went to pick my car up a couple days later and paid $1915. That weekend I realized that the rear driver side door lock was still not working. I took the car back in. I was told that it needed a new actuator and that they could fix it for another $700. I tried to explain to them that when I first came in I was experiencing issues with multiple locks, and that they had quoted me a price (which I paid) to fix them. I didn't agree to pay that price to fix some locks and then leave some of them broken. They said this was a communication error, and they were sorry for not letting me know that the cost was only to fix the passenger door lock. They acknowledged that this was a mistake on their end. However, they were not prepared to offer me a refund or a discount. Then, while I was dealing with this issue (speaking with assistant service manager Janece Crocker and service manager Michael Tichbourne over a period of weeks) my TPMS light came back on. Essentially, they had not fixed any of the problems I came in with, and charged me almost $2,000. I could not believe they refused to offer a refund or even to fix the problem. Eventually, after A LOT of arguing and wasted time, I was offered a refund of $280. I was simply too busy to keep arguing and fighting with these people, so I took the refund and took my car elsewhere to have the work completed. I am extremely dissatisfied and I feel that I was scammed. I was also treated very poorly by assistant service manager Janece Crocker. Michael Tichbourne was a slight improvement, but I am still perplexed at how this situation was dealt with. I am not someone who normally writes reviews or complains, but I have never had an experience like this and I would warn anyone who is considering this service center that they are crooks. They will find reasons to run up your bill, and the quality of the service is 0 out of 10 as far as I'm concerned. read more

I've had a disappointing experience with Shaw GMC Chevrolet Buick after searching for a new vehicle. After making it clear exactly what I was interested in, many times, I was presented with more expensive models that didn't fit my needs or interests. After settling on a general model and trim, and indicating I was considering it alongside other makes/dealerships, I put down a $100 refundable deposit under some pressure for the dealership to search out the corresponding trim level. Later that day, after closing the deal for a different vehicle from another dealership, I contacted Shaw GMC Chevrolet Buick to request a refund of the deposit. After no follow-through, I called the dealership twice more and emailed once during business hours, leaving messages with different people, all of which have received no reply. Shaw GMC Chevrolet Buick didn't listen to me in the buying process, and they're not listening to me now. I feel that all they wanted was my money through outdated sales tactics. I suggest that you avoid Shaw GMC on Blackfoot Tr. for your vehicle servicing and repairs. I purchased new winter tires for my vehicle. It took three return visits to get the tire pressure sensors working properly and another three when the summer tires were installed again. On a number of occasions they called me in to collect the car and it was not ready for several hours. Three out of the four wheel covers have been lost over the course of these visits and the problem has not been resolved by the management. Avoid at all costs. read more

I brought a used Avalanche from the used car department. At first I wasn't sure, as buying a used vehicle can be such a pain and I'd gone to a number of dealers over a few days and was about to give up due to my overall frustration. at Shaw I met a young sales person Peter that I could tell was new and green but I give him credit because willing to earn the business. The used sales manager initially ticked me off because he couldn't give me a trade value right away but I take partial blame because I wasn't understanding and was drained from the running around looking for a good truck at a good deal. When I realized he wanted to talk to a few others to get a better price for my trade I appreciate him more after finding that out. I can't spell his name otherwise I'd put it in here. It started with a G. He ended up being amazing and made the purchase a reality. I did have an issue with the truck with in the first minutes of taking the truck on delivery with a check engine light the came on. The check engine light actually took 3 return visits to rectify the issue and I know it wasn't cheap but Shaw take care of it all...Outstanding!The service dept. representative Clint took my already great experience to whole new level. Clint is excellent to deal with and a good communicator but mostly I appreciated his genuineness. People in my sphere of influence value my understanding and knowledge for buying vehicles. I have had numerous trucks over the years from a number of different dealers, Shaw GMC has made my recommendation much easier as they will be the first dealer I suggest people to go to. Worst service experience ever with a dealership, they actually broke parts on my truck, stuff was missing and the work done was shotty at best... i will never go back, and if you value your vehicle, you should think twice about getting service here... i have no experience buying here, but if service is any indication of their standards and quality i would not buy here either. I dropped my truck off last week for some minor services, new windshield, change to summer tires, and decided to overpay and have it detailed so i didn't have to drop my truck off twice.. later i was told i needed a wheel alignment, i didn't notice any problems, but it was possible so i ok'd the work. The next evening when i went to pick up my truck i noticed it was parked in a pile of dirt, and the exterior was noticeably dirty, there was dust covering my truck, someone had rolled down the windows when they were wet, there was wax spots covering my entire truck, my topper and truck bed were not even touched, and there was dried water stains below all my door handles where water had dripped out after the wash.. but the inside was mostly clean and i had things to do. (by mostly i mean only the areas that were immediately noticeable, IE. the cup holders and most other crevasse were not even touched, aswell all my service records that i keep in the back of my seats were soaked and mostly ruined) i returned home, (20min) when i went to open my door i noticed that my door handle was broken, snapped in two places. I called immediately to inform them of the damages and they asked me to come back so they could look at it.. it was a couple days before i had the time to return, only for them to inform me that this is a common problem and they would not fix it... Completely disappointed with the service and performance of the body shop this week. We brought our 2017 Chev Silverado in for an estimate on a small dent Monday and were told just leave it with us, as we can get it today "we are not that busy". We were told that we would have the truck back Wednesday morning no issues! Along with the small dent in the hood, there were some other minor scratches and things, which we were assured would be fixed. When we called Wednesday, they apologized for the delay, however, promised our truck would be ready Thursday and they would call when ready! "No call back Thursday", so we just drove over Friday morning after again not hearing from them and our vehicle was still not ready, so we waited outside for about an hour. Upon inspecting our vehicle the additional touch ups promised were not completed. My wife waited until they called someone to fix one of the repairs, however, now we have to rebook the vehicle again to have the other scratches repaired. Terrible service and communication, so very, very disappointed with the body shop folks. Note: after speaking with the manager, he says is also disappointed with the service we received and apologized, also stated "he was going to review our service and performance" with his folks in the body shop!! We have been using Shaw GMC for the last few years for service to our trucks. Although there have been some small problems, we generally feel satisfied with the outcome. This is not the case this time. We dropped off one of our trucks early January to be fixed and inspected during our slow time and the bill was a little more than expected, just over $4000. I informed a lady by the name of Pat that this is the slow season for us and we would have to wait til the end of the month or mid Feb to come pick up our truck as funds come in. She said that this was fine as they had a big lot in the back to store our truck for us. When we contacted Shaw to pay our bill and pick up the truck their service manager Brandon then told us that we would have to pay $30 a day for storage which at the time came to $1500 since it was there for a month and a half. This is absolutley ridiculous and Pat had told us that there would be no storage charges at all and would be no problem picking up the truck. Needless to say we were not going to pay any of the storage charges as we were again told we would not have to. Shaw GMC is still charging us $30 a day and the bill is over $3000 alone for the storage charges. They are trying to bully us into paying these ridiculous charges by saying they will send our truck to the auction if we do not pay. I went into Shaw and talked to Brandon Mandell 2 weeks ago and had $5000 in hand to clear up not only the repair bill but to pay for the bailoff that they have hired to send the truck to auction. Brandon again did not budge on his storage prices and told us that they will be sending the truck to auction and that there was nothing we can do about it. You would think that someone from Shaw GMC would try and rectify this situation but instead they laugh in your face when you try and talk to them about it. They should be responsible for there own staff especially when they tell us one thing and when that person gets fired they all of a sudden bring in these so called storage charges. I will never use this company again and will make sure everyone i know that needs this type of service hears about how they treat there so called customers. read more

There is nothing I like better than to give my opinion !!! So if I may : I would like to offer you my opinion of Shaw GMC. They are truly wonderful !! We recently purchased a new vehicle at Shaw from a Salesman named Gordon Betts. Now I could go on about the vehicle. ... because it is wonderful ... but the thing that I would like to tell you is about, is the patience and honesty of the fellow who sold us that automobile. We started seeing Gordon about 1 year ago for a completely different vehicle We didn't even know what we wanted at that time. Gord went through the pro's and con's of each one, and luckily for us, he really knew his stuff. He took the time whenever we called to go over the questions we had.... and there were many. We changed our minds about the vehicle 2 or 3 times,...and not once did he appear frustrated or make us feel uncomfortable. He was always friendly and patient and sincere in his efforts to make sure we got the vehicle "that was right for us". As a senior couple, you don't ever want to feel you might be taken advantage of ..... I believe that Shaw and Gordon Betts are two things you can trust. I would highly recommend this pair for your automobile needs. read more

My fiancé and I went to Shaw GMC this evening to pick up his truck from a recall service appointment. We arrived just after a thunderstorm and three of the four windows were down about 3-4 inches. There was water pooled in the front and in the back on the floor of the truck. Service had left his keys under the drivers mat and locked them in as we were to get in the vehicle with the spare keys. That would've been great except I was able to unlock the doors by climbing in the box of the truck and reaching my arm in the window of the back seat. Anyone would've been able to take this truck off the parking lot. To top it all off, the key drop was unlocked when we dropped the truck off the night before. We were able to access everyones keys that had dropped off their vehicles for service! I have never been so disappointed in a dealership before. I have never experienced such awful service. I would never recommend anyone purchase or have their vehicle serviced through this dealership. read more
