I've had a couple unfortunate incidents this year with (2) vehicles that forced me to need a rental vehicle. In my experience from other car rental places, I've always left with a sour taste, due to poor customer service. I work in sales and deal with the public myself, and take pride in doing what's right and making the client as comfortable as possible and taking care of their needs. Well that's exactly what the manger Nin did for me both times I was there! This location can get very busy with phones, walks-ins, etc...and you can tell she is a pro at handling it all (with a smile)! Not everyone can deal with the general public well...but Nin and her crew did a great job to all clientele and myself each time I've dealt with them. Keep up the great work! Best Regards, -Ryan

    Title: Charged for a full month of protection I did not authorize…read more I want to share my experience to warn others about a billing issue I encountered with Enterprise. Initially, my insurance company arranged a short-term rental (about 5-6 days) for me at this location. When I picked up the car, I purchased protection coverage and paid a little over $200. I clearly told the staff that I only needed protection for those few days, and asked them to inform me if there would be any additional charges later. After that, my insurance company extended the rental to about one month. I called the branch to confirm the extension and explicitly told the staff that I did NOT want to continue the protection coverage for the extended period. I was told that it would be taken care of. However, after returning the vehicle, I found that I was charged for approximately 30 days of protection, totaling over $900. I never authorized this, and there was no written confirmation. Additionally, I was told I would receive a follow-up call, but no one ever contacted me. I am currently working with my bank to dispute this charge. If I cannot recover the money, I may have no choice but to pay it. I am sharing this so others can learn from my experience: - Do not rely on verbal confirmations - Always request written proof for any changes - Carefully review your final receipt after returning the vehicle I hope this helps others avoid a similar situation.

When your car experiences issues while a customer is driving it and costs the customer their time and money - you do what is needed to make things right - . Apparently this is a tough lesson that Hertz Quincy mgmt staff will need to learn via this review and all whom may encounter it. Details: While I had a car from the Quincy Hertz the check engine light came on. When I called road side assistance they explained that although it is the weekend - there's a location about an hour away that can take the car and give a new one. I was out of town at the time in another state so I decided to make the trip just to be safe. After arriving there the lady at the desk tells me she has no cars available and she told the rep I was working with over the phone that she didn't have any. There was nothing they could do. There goes 2 hours of my time I'm never getting back. When I brought this up to the manager of the Quincy Hertz I expected there was something that could be done for the inconvenience I experienced. You would think they would want to make things right for the sake of returning business. Nope. Nothing they can do - is what it is. I won't be going back to give Hertz any business and I sure won't be recommending them to anyone I know. That's for sure!

    I have no complaint against the local agent or the truck, but the reservation process has been a…read morenightmare twice in a row. Each time, I was unable to submit the online form because even after completing it, the form insisted that there were fields that needed to be filled in...even though they already were. So I had to make a phone reservation instead, which takes a LOT longer. The second time I tried to use the form, it somehow remembered me from before and offered a nice discount. But again the form failed to submit and I had to phone it in, but by then the discount code had disappeared and I couldn't get that deal. Also, I understand about outsourcing call centers to India or whatever, but both times I'm pretty sure my operator had never heard english spoken before. Neither of us could understand what the other was saying. The entire process was a prolonged agony of repeated spellings/corrections/respellings of my (very ordinary) name, street, town. I even had to spell-out "comcast" in my email address for god's sake. The operator kept calling it "concast." Budget is providing strong incentive to switch to another rental company.

Our plane was 4 hours late arriving after midnight on Sunday. David was right there in one of their wonderful cars . He was phenomenal and delivered us to the Cape at 2:30a.m. and was charming. He not only got her to campus safely, but waited while she got checked in, took her bags to her dorm, and sent us a pic of her in her new space. It was so much more than we could have hoped for. My daughter was delighted with the surprise of chocolates and water in the car and she loved chatting with Todd. He is an absolute gem. I wish I could give this company more than 5 stars. Truly. If you need a ride and you're around the Providence/Boston area-don't hesitate to give them a call. You won't be disappointed!
