    Five HUGE stars for Enterprise in Lexington!…read more I may preface this by saying that I was definitely born in the wrong century in that I despise using computers/apps for every transaction nowadays. It is a true godsend to do anything these days without it turning into a major stress event involving ill-programmed websites/computers/passwords, absence of human communication/interaction, customer set-ups designed solely for the business-owner advantage, automated telephonic nonsense, computer-cryptic hidden fees, etc. Here's the story: My car croaked and I needed to rent a car. In fear of what I have described above, I boldly decided to risk it and simply just walk down to Enterprise at opening time to see about renting a car. I was stressed already and anticipating "the usual" like being told "you have to book this on-line" and/or "you need a user ID to access a new account" and similar such nonsense. Instead, I was welcomed by a very pleasant lady (Abigail) who was well spoken. She clearly stated the rental information and answered any questions I had. She booked a car to fit my needs and the price was clear and all info was up front. Before I knew it, I was led over to my car, and I was driving off on my merry way all within 10 minutes or less of my arrival. I literally left with a smile and low-than-ever cortisol levels. At the end of the week, I called Enterprise and spoke to Richard on the phone, and I informed him that I needed a week-long rental extension and he set it up via phone in seconds. He was very helpful and pleasant and a good communicator. It later turned out that my own car was now repaired, and I didn't need the rental extension after all. I called Enterprise and Richard answered. I informed him of my situation and said to "just return the car when you like and everything will be all set." The return process was a snap. Everything was lickety-split and totally "user friendly" and all info was clearly and concisely presented. Best of all, everything was accomplished without my ever having to touch a computer -not even once. No run-around, no confusion, no hidden fees, real people, etc. Old school and I'm lovin' it! Thank you, Enterprise!

    theCARS Company, as mentioned by other reviewers, deserves 5 star ratings across all boards…read more Service is extremely quick (usually takes a couple hours for normal maintenance; few minutes for an oil change) and fairly priced. They have appointments open constantly and 'reservations' are easy to make. In terms of quality, I have been in there twice--once because my 'check engine' light lit up and the other for the 45,000 mile routine maintenance--and the results couldn't have been better. Problems are discovered quickly and solutions are provided even faster. What sets theCARS Company apart from any other car shop I've been to is their customer care. Point in case: recommending a cheap buff-and-polish job for the many bumps and scratches on my car as opposed to an extremely expensive paint job. Need another example? They offer discounts and coupons constantly. They don't hide them from you. In fact, make sure to politely ask if they have any available and they will respond honestly. Believe me, they've got your back and they're looking to protect your wallet. They seem genuinely interested in your best interest and not on making a quick buck. Very professional, well-organized, and reasonable prices: what else could you ask for?

I have to say, I was very happy with this place, particularly the service of the mechanics that work there and their willingness to help me, despite my strange requests. That's the short story. The long story is, I noticed a very unpleasant smell in my car (a few months after I spilled some bean juice in my car, and I thought I had cleaned it up). It seemed to be coming from the back seat, so I went crazy trying to mask/clean it. i used baking soda, whole bottles of Fabreeze, even bleach, still no luck. Finally, I decided I had to look underneath my seat (its a bench seat) to see if there was some kind of bean juice cesspool growing down there. Now, I have no idea how to get this seat up, so I had no choice but to swallow my embarrassment and ask help from someone that would know. I'm sure these guys thought I was crazy, but they were very nice to me all the same, and obliged my request to pull the seat up. They didn't notice it at first, but when they pulled up a cloth sound barrier, it hit them like a wall! They recommended I replace it and even called dodge to see if they had a part for me, but they couldnt find it. I endued up wiping down the underside of the seat and bleaching the sound barrier. Car has smelled fine ever since! So basically, I was just really happy that these guys were willing to help me and didnt give me as many strange looks as I probably deserved. This may have not been a typical car problem, but I could tell by how they treated me and carried themselves that they were professionals.

Spoke to Steven who was nice enough to explain to me what they do and gave me a number to Enterprise rental. Later that year I was ready to get a new car and was looking for a similar auto broker in my area. I found none, so I decided to dial these guys to check if they could deliver to NC. They said that they could do any city in the US. I was really skeptical all the way through but no dealership could match their price. I got my 2013 Nissan Murano SV delivered to my house for the price of $269 per month for 39 months, $1000 out of pocket. Imagine my excitement after driving a used Toyota and paying $388 A MONTH FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS WITH $4000 DOLLARS DOWN PAYMENT. STEVEN AND ALLEN, YOU ARE THE BEST! (Sorry that I gave you such a hard time)

    I would never ever use Hertz at this location!…read more 1. The first time ever car rental with such dirty condition. Dried mud everywhere. I wonder why Hertz did not washed car before the rent. 2. Tank was 3/4, agent told me that I can return at 3/4 of gas. Well, it is not easy to fill at 3/4 but I understood that as I thought the agent is transparent and with integrity. 3. 60 miles were driven from the contract record! 4. The location is satellite of either Newton or Needham. I am GOLD and thank you Hertz for boosting me up to Five Star. I am generally happy and satisfied with Hertz rental in many locations from EWR, PHL, SJC, SFO, ORD, YYZ, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and many other locations including suburban areas. Never had such complaint like this. BUT, THIS LOCATION IS THE WORST. AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RENTING HERTZ FROM ANY SATELLITE LOCATIONS! I liked Hertz optimized process in many location, confirming the level of gas, mileage and always transparent with integrity. I never expected such things could happen at any Hertz location, but I realized the employee education is not done throughout entire region unfortunately. Since this experience, I am taking photos of meter, body of cars, photos with neighbors and surrounding buildings. I sent question to verify@hertz.com with all the pictures, still no response from Hertz after 8 business days (13 days). This is very disappointing and very sad as I loved Hertz.
