Total disaster Reservations mean nothing. Just had to cancel my trip since they had given away the car I reserved never using hertz again. They told me I could go to Marlborough to pick up a car instead and they would stay open late for me so I called an Uber and went all the way there and they were closed! BUYER BEWARE!!! I rented a vehicle from Hertz at Fort Meyers airport. When I rented it at the Hertz desk the fee was 720.00 and the customer service representative told me to go to the car garage and pick any car from the GOLD SECTION. So, I went to the car area and chose a car that was in the GOLD section and drove to the gate. The person at the gate took my paperwork and my license, he then did a few things in his computer and gave me back the paperwork. When I got back home I checked the paperwork and the fee was increased to $1,220....ALMOST DOUBLE. When I called HERTZ the customer service person told me that I took a more expensive car. I told her I took a car in the GOLD section and the person at the gate should have told me that THEY PUT THE WRONG CAR in that section. She said that there was nothing they could do but she would file a complaint. This is a clear BAIT AND SWITCH and HERTZ needs to make good on this. Here's my experience, which in summary I would advise never to use this location (or probably Hertz). I paid for a weekend rental using Priceline. I was staying less than 1 mile away from the Natick location, and I called to ask if they might be able to pick me up. The employee said that I could pay for Uber, and they would reimburse me for it. I then specifically said (and called back after this exchange) that I pre-paid using Priceline, so I wanted to confirm they could definitely credit my payment. He assured me they could. Two weeks after returning my rental, I called the office to inquire why I hadn't received the credit. The employee said they couldn't credit me, because I paid through Priceline. I told him the story, how I specifically asked about this and how they promised they could. He offered a $15 Hertz credit, which I refused because it wasn't what I was explicitly promised. He put me on hold, after a few minutes he spoke to his manager and said they WOULD credit my charge, and it might take 2 weeks. Fast forward 1 month after the call above happened. No credit on my card, no follow-up call. I called the office, and was put on with the manager, who said they attempted to credit my card and it failed. I asked why they never called me, he said they just got the alert the other day. Again offered the $15 rental credit, and that I was misinformed. In summary, I was lied to twice, with no resolve. Complete waste of time and money. They rented me a car with an expired inspection sticker. Expired FOUR months ago! I didn't notice until I got to NYC. Had to park it the entire rental period. Wasted time, money, gas, tolls - and needed the car for a funeral. Going in tomorrow to complain and fight the charges. UPDATE (7/22/19). Went in and complained 6/24/19. The manager agreed that I shouldn't have been rented an unusable vehicle. He promised to refund the full rental charges - all rental fees/costs, as well as the FastPass fees and tolls. A refund of all Hertz charges. He also promised to "try" and get me my fuel costs reimbursed. I confirmed the agreement via email that afternoon. Well, nothing at all as been refunded. In fact, ADDITIONAL charges for FastPass fees and tolls were charged after the promise not to do so. I've been into the office - and was again told the refund is "being processed". Same story in multiple emails with Sean Coen, the location manager. It's been a month. So, I'm not left with any option but filing complaints with the various state Consumer Protection and Business Regulation offices/departments, and the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT RENT HERE! We had a reservation for 3pm pick-up. I called the day before to confirm and then they called me the day of to confirm. We got there and there was no car! We had to wait till almost five for the car to be ready causing us to be leaving during rush hour traffic which we were trying to avoid. The car was also coated in a thick terrible cologne sent and gave everyone headaches. And black grease was all over the dashboard and steering wheel. read more

I needed a rental car while mine was in the shop for repairs. Herz worked directly with my insurance company and the repair shop to coordinate my pick up and drop off. The customer service was excellent and the car was inexpensive and in great condition. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was I asked for the most fuel efficient car they had to help with the commuting gas prices and the Chrysler 200 I got didn't seem to get very good mileage. Maybe I'm more used to my Prius, maybe the Chrysler was the best they had, or maybe I could have emphasized my request more clearly. Regardless, I will definitely go back to this Herz if I ever need another car. read more

This pretty small, so be sure to call ahead to know that have cars. Their rental rate was about $70 less per day than all the other rental places (including Hertz) at Logan! The guy here was super helpful and friendly. I added an extra day, no problem, and although they close at 6, they have a key drop-box and I returned the car without any issues after hours. I have used this location twice. I picked up a car here in April and just dropped another one way rental off. The staff couldn't be nicer. They were helpful and accommodating and there were no surprises. They were efficient, friendly and professional. They even went the extra mile for me when a personal issue arose. My only negative comment is that there is not a lot of room in front for parking, if you are dropping or picking up someone. I DO recommend this Hertz location and the prices are competitive. read more

I needed a replacement vehicle when my car was in the shop after an accident. I didn't have insurance coverage for a loaner, but the assistant branch manager, Vladimir Faynberg, was as kind and helpful as he could possibly be. He found me a good car and gave me a better price than I deserved and really seemed to care. I can't recommend him more highly. read more

Caution!!!! They ripped me off!!! They purposely sold me insurance that I didn't need! $500 worth of charges! "Joe" is the guy who said my insurance, or the woman who hit me would pay for "everything " in no uncertain terms. He lied!! His manager Sean will not get back to us or our insurance agent to come to terms. Very unprofessional and will cost you money! Be aware and cautious in using this rental company. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. The people working at the location are nice, but it seems to be dysfunctional due to corporate problems. The location itself is disgusting: as dirty as a gas station bathroom. When I picked up the car I was given one key because that's how it was returned with no hook. And the car was a push start so I lost the key about 10 times. The attendant asked if I'd be returning the car at around the same time but never said I'd be charged another FULL day if I didn't. I returned it 5 hours late and was charged a full day and told I'd have to call the location to get anything changed. The location said the rental was closed so there was nothing that they could do. I called customer care and they were extremely rude and unhelpful. I'm seriously considering telling Amex not to pay the bill. This customer service is outrageous. At the very least, I'll never use hertz again. Also when I picked the car up the other employees were too just to pay attention to me because another 4 people were yelling at them because they gave their rental to someone else and ruined their entire Labor Day weekend.
