Their salesmen were very unprofessional when I called. Cars are priced way above market listings.

From start to finish, this was a great experience. Guys from Prestige Motor Sales were excellent. I…read morefound the car on cars.com and emailed the dealer. He responded right away and set up time for me and my wife to come to the dealership and test drive the car. When we arrived, the car was even better than we expected. We test drive the car and knew right away that we wanted it. Alex helped us every step of the way with financing and he gave us a great deal with the decent percentage and he also was incredibly patient with the paperwork and walked us through the entire process. I don't write a lot of these reviews, but when I have a great experience I give the credit. I will definitely share this experience with my friends. Thank you Alex and Prestige Motor Sales for another member in our family.

I picked up the vehicle on April 1. On April 6th, an independent mechanic found several issues that had not been addressed, including concerns with the O2 sensors, exhaust system, error codes, and worn tires. That evening while driving on the highway with my kids in the car multiple warning lights came on and the car began shaking while driving. We had to arrange towing back to the dealership at our own expense. While they did perform some repairs (including replacing the O2 sensors (these are brand new!), a follow-up inspection still showed that the exhaust will likely need replacement, the radiator was not actually new, and the Run-Flat tires had been repaired rather than replaced. Overall, the vehicle was not delivered in the condition promised, and we spent significant time arranging transportation and following up. I would strongly recommend having any vehicle independently inspected before purchase. Based on this experience, I would proceed with caution.

Just about everything they told me was a lie. First, they told me that their mechanic had "thoroughly" gone over every major system in the car to make sure it was working properly. Complete crap. They don't even have a mechanic. Next, they said they needed time the day I was picking up the car to detail it. No problem. Only later did I realize that by "detail" they meant "peel the stickers off the windshield". Nothing else. I should not have been so trusting when I bought the car, as when I got the car home I discovered the car had no spare tire, a half-assed cellular vehicle finder device was hack installed in the car and one of the halogen fog lights was burned out (they must have missed all this when they "thoroughly" went over every inch of the car). The car then failed NH state inspection because of a defective parking brake. Turned out not only was the parking brake not working, the entire rear brake system needed to be replaced. I called them and they told me they would repair the brakes less a $100 deductible. Once I got them to see how ridiculous it was to ask for a deductible on a car I just bought and would not pass inspection, they ordered the parts to fix the brakes. They gave me the name of a repair shop near them were I would need to bring the car to get it fixed (remember they have no mechanic). The parts took a took a week to come in even though they were in stock at 2 local auto parts stores in my area. I ended up going on vacation that week and the brakes failed completely and I ended up fixing them out of my pocket. Not their fault I was on vacation but very aggravating. They should have fixed the brakes immediately If you really want a car from this dealer, take it to your own mechanic and have it fully checked. These guys do nothing to the cars they buy other than put them on the lot and slap a sticker on the window. They can't fix anything and don't have the expertise or honestly to disclose any issues with the cars they sell.

There are many other used car dealers and mechanics operating in the greater Boston. That vehicle they are selling that you really want will be available somewhere else soon. I went to view a rare luxury vehicle. There were signs that this "business" was shady from the beginning. Owner Eddie did not let me take the vehicle on a test drive myself and refused to let me take it for a pre-purchase inspection because he said he only had one dealer plate. He only lists on Craigslist and does not use Carfax in order to save a few bucks- pretty laughable for a place that he says has been in business for thirty years. After negotiating, I purchased the vehicle. When I took it to my mechanic a few days later, he discovered serious issues. When I told Eddie, he outright refused to take my car in for repairs within the 30 day warranty period set by the state for qualifying used cars. He soon blocked my number. Weird considering he bragged about how he goes above and beyond for people that buy cars from him. The main issue was a sunroof that did not properly close causing water to flood the car. Eventfully, the electronics failed because of water damage. It was estimated by the dealer to be a $9,000 fix- far more than what I paid. I filed for arbitration through the MA Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. Eddie was flustered, emotional, and could not explain himself. The arbitrator ruled in my favor and he was forced to write me a check for the original purchase price due to Autotech's illegal business tactics. It appears from reading other reviews that they sell vehicles purchased dirt cheap at auction with major issues. They have gone by many names including Autotech, Autotech II, DC Automotive Malden, and Eddie's Autotech, probably to run from the bad reviews. They also appear to have multiple Facebook pages. The Office of Consumer Affairs and the Attorney General's office- just to name a few- are now aware of the kind of business being run here.
