I cannot say great enough things about my service from the sharp electric. My fuses kept going out in my home and we have not had electricity for over a week. My home warranty sent me three different electricians who could not seem to figure out why the fuses kept blowing out. The gentleman that came was the only one that actually took time to go above and beyond just changing the fuse. Instead he noticed that there were several wires that were loose and he took time to check them and to tighten them. Because of that when he replaced the fuses my electricity is still on and everything is working as it should. This is a honest company and I would definitely recommend them. read more

Sharp Electric - Business card - Electricians Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

We've Been using Sharp Electric since moving to Mesa from Phoenix in 2020. We called to make an appointment for some electrical work in our home. Hector arrived on time and we discussed my project on converting numerous ceiling fixtures from incandescent to energy efficient LED. Hector took measurements and worked up and estimate for user provided lighting. Hector returned a week later with the materials to begin our large project. Hector was very efficient, extremely organized and respectful of us and our home. When finished Hector cleaned up the project areas. As a result of his work we've had him back to replace 5 ceiling fans and install a matching one in our new room addition. We a very satisfied with Hector and Sharp Electric. read more

Hector is great! We hired him to install some ceiling fans and outlets and we liked him so much that we are having him come back to install dimmers and some more ceiling fans. Can't have too many ceiling fans, right? read more

Hector came out to address an issue with my living room ceiling fan. First time with this company and I was totally impressed with the Professionalism, honesty and straight forward evaluation. Not too many companies I give a 5 Star rating to but this one is well deserved. read more

Hector did a fantastic job--showed up early and stayed until the job was done. He even took care of a few extra items that we did not discover until he was on site. Please give him your business! read more

First off I am in Tempe AZ, not San Francisco. Hector came out this morning and he is wonderful to deal with. We are in an old house with a fuse box and began having intemittant problems. It took him a very short time to remedy the situation and at a reasonable cost as well. So we are good to go until we can upgrade which we plan to do, God willing, about late October when the heat breaks since it takes all day. However that is great to know as well. Some places tell you, you'll have to leave the house for several days. I don't know what the going price is for the repair and service call he did, but it was a lot less than we expected. Thanks for the peace of mind too. Highly recommended. read more

Responsive and professional. Fixed electric outlets. Came on time and dealt well with animals. Will use them again

Hector of Sharp Electric came out to one of our rental properties to help us troubleshoot an open ground wiring issue on one of our circuits. We thought it may be a long shot to find since it could be a loose ground wire in any number of connections within the house wiring. He skillfully deduced the probable outlets and switches that could be the culprits and he went to work systematically checking each of them, and he actually found the loose ground wire connection in one of the wall light switches. Brilliant! A needle in a haystack found! Bravo, Hector, you did good - 5 out of 5 stars! read more

Hector came to assess my outlet for a home warranty claim. He quickly replaced the switch and was very kind, courteous and professional while explaining what he was doing and answering my questions as someone totally ignorant to electrical systems. I definitely recommend Sharp Electric! read more

The power went out on our kitchen wall, rendering our fridge, coffee maker, and microwave without power. I called Hector and he said he was able to come over within a few hours on a weekend and said he should be able to repair the issue within an hour. Not only did he show up earlier, he repaired our circuit breaker, three light switches and a power problem to our security light all within an hour. He also gave us excellent advise on what would make our house safer and how to go about replacing the older switches in our house. He is a fantastic guy, very professional and exceptionally helpful. I would give this company 10 stars if it was possible. read more

If I could give more than five stars for Hector and Sharp Electric, I would! Not only was he super response via the Thumbtack app, Hector also utilized texting for keeping me up to date on when he was going to arrive and if I needed anything after our appointment that I could reach out to him. The best part of the visit was the fact that Hector took time out to explain what he was looking for, what was broken, and how he was fixing it. He also offered suggestions on what we could do later down the road to make sure we were utilizing the electricity the best we could. The fact that he was available within 2 hours of my first initial contact with him was amazing. I don't know if that's how it always is, but it was great for us! The prices were very reasonable too. I would assume they are right in line with what others charge. read more

WOW ! Have had real difficulty finding good repairmen since we moved here and Hector was totally awesome. Fast, efficient, professional, showed up on time, diagosed the problem, fixed it and was gone in an hour. Installed a new outlet for us and did a great job. My husband was very impressed with the technology he used. Have run into SO many incompetent and dishonest workmen in Arizona, this guy was incredible turn for the better. Next time we have a problem we will call Hector again for Sure ! read more

My 45+ year old home blew a circuit on a Sunday. I contacted a contractor friend and he recommended Hector Torres with Sharp Electric. Thinking I would leave him a message, I was surprised when he answered! We worked out a time that fit my Monday schedule. He arrived on time and explained everything in details I could understand. He fixed one issue, and we decided to wait on a further fix requiring attic time (it's 113° today!) until the weather cools. Hector is personable, professional and honest in his dealings. I'm a single woman in my 70's which makes me vulnerable. I completely trust Hector. He's had 15 years experience working with his father. They own Sharp Electric in Tucson. Hector is bringing their established business to the Phoenix area. I couldn't be happier to recommend someone. We're lucky to have him in the area! read more

Hector from Sharp Electric is absolutely wonderful. He came out to check a breaker that kept tripping. He was ontime, friendly, polite, professional, and honest. He did not have the part on his truck that was needed and instead of just putting the old breaker back in because it was still working, he took the time to go to Lowe's to get a new one to ensure everything was correct. He certainly went out of his way. I am very pleased with his service and would highly recommend him. Thank you Hector. read more

Fantastic service was provided by Hector. I had talked to him previously on the phone before he came out. During that conversation he had given me a time when he would be out and true to his word he was there promptly as promised. He was attentive, professional and courteous. He repaired 2 bathroom exhaust fans and both are working perfectly now. As part of his repair, he covered things up as to not make a mess, and when he was done he vacuumed up everything to leave everything perfectly as when he arrived. I would recommend Sharp electric for any repair work. read more
