I had not heard of Shark before, but they were highly recommended on our neighborhood face book page, so I decided to give them a try. Stacey, who handled our initial phone call was extremely helpful and friendly. We moved from a 4,600 sqft home and we had a storage unit full of furniture, as well. She was very thorough in her explanation of pricing and the logistics pertaining to our move. Some companies require an online questionnaire be filled out regarding how many boxes of this or that, how many rooms of furniture, etc. We were too overwhelmed to think about those details and that was another reason we chose Shark. Fermin came to our home and walked with me from room to room to help make the assessment. When it came time for the move, the movers were all extremely polite, efficient, careful and mindful. Every aspect of our move was thoughtfully organized. Their customer service was on point- each mover always had a "yes, we can do that" type attitude or response. We have a large shuffle board table that they moved and set up with total ease. Some companies would not even consider moving it for us. My 9 Year old son recommended Shark Movers for our current local move after seeing the Shark Movers truck in an area. After additional research, Shark Movers stood out from other competition based on past reviews on great professionalism, being respectful, experienced and careful packers. Our experience was great from the time I called Shark Movers office. Sales/Dispatcher Point of contact was easy to talk to, respectful and understanding. Reservation went smooth. On move day, Shark's crew lead by Fermin and supported by Juan, Orlin and Devin arrived on time around 8 am. Fermin as a lead was great. Quick to learn the situation and lead the time with packing and moving activities. Juan, Orlin and Devin were great team members and supported Fermin well. Good team work from the team. Most important, the team was respectful towards family members and managed all moving activities well with kids around. Price point, Shark movers are not the cheapest but you get great service and don't have to worry about safety of your stuff. It's worth it. Overall, had a wonderful experience moving with Shark team. This is the second time in 1 year Fermin and his team from Shark Movers have helped me. I knew with this second move, I only wanted them. They are the best. They take care of your belongings as if it were theirs. They work tirelessly and never complain. They are super respectful and responsive. They ask me exactly where I want each item and don't stop until I'm happy. I don't think I'll ever use any moving company but them. We never have any issues with this company. I've called Stacey 3 times to move both my date and time and she has always been so helpful and kind. It's stressful to move 2x in a year but these guys really come to the rescue. My son recommended Shark Movers to me on our move and they were fantastic. Easy to set up the move over the phone and all costs were discussed ahead of time. The movers were punctual, friendly, efficient, hard working and treated our possessions as if it were their own. Every item was carefully wrapped in blankets and or plastic wrap and carefully loaded on the van. The moving team didn't take breaks and worked hard. They used up to date equipment, put down runners to protect floors and were extremely careful to not damage our furniture, but also made sure no dings or bumps into walls or doors. We had nothing damaged. If you live in the Cypress, Tx area, you should definitely consider Shark Movers for your next move. At the completion of the move, all materials and trash were removed and I was asked to inspect the inside of their truck to ensure that nothing was left unloaded. GREATTTTTT!!!! I had the pleasure of having Auturo, Marcos, and Juan as my movers. Let's start by saying they're amazing. I was a little frantic at first when Arturo told me everything had to boxed. Long story short I was moving and my fiancé was at work. Can you say nerves shot?! Well Arturo and squad put my anxiety to rest. He actually helped box some of my items that needed to boxes so that could move it all! These guys are the best. They work fast and they're friendly. I know I wasn't the nicest when they first got to my home because I simply didn't read the whole email that was sent to me by Shark Movers. That was my fault. But Arturo took charge Ana helped me box shoes so that they could move them with no problem! Would I recommend them again?! HECK YEA!!! This is the 2nd time that I have used Shark Movers. Fermin and his crew are efficient, punctual, and professional. I have worked with many crews before and there have been times where 1 person on the crew is great and they others are just dead weight. Each member of this crew respects the client and they respect each other. The communication between Shark Movers and the client is also second to none. They take the time to clarify pricing by sending over the invoicing beforehand and discussing before they begin work. It was raining pretty hard and Fermin let me know that they may not move as fast because of the rains, but he will definitely not sit and wait around. He will wrap all the furniture in the house while waiting for the rain to subside. See? Again, complete clarity. Recently moved about ten minutes from one townhouse to another in Katy, and asked for several quotes before settling on Shark Movers. I picked Shark due to their excellent reviews, reasonable prices, and the professionalism shown by Stacey who answered my questions, and responded very quickly at every contact. Even with having to change my move date due to construction delays, Shark was accommodating, and made the change with no issue. The day prior to our move the driver contacted me and confirmed their arrival time and the address, and they not only showed up on time, but ready to get to work immediately. They carefully wrapped all furniture to make sure nothing was damaged, and quickly moved to get the job done in a very quick amount of time. I am a local Realtor and have been asked for 10 years for moving company recommendations. I never refer one because too many times people have issues with moving companies. However, I had a client that moved to New Jersey and paid a deposit to a moving company. On moving day, which was a Sunday, a local friend agreed to meet the movers...they never showed up. Wow is all I can say. We just used Shark Movers for three separate moving situations over the last week and they were amazing. One team came one day, a different team came the second day and both teams ended up coming to help the last day. They moved 1-2 bedrooms from a house to an apartment in a little over three hours, took apart beds and put back together and set up for us. They also loaded a 16 foot moving truck completely full from to back in under two hours, including appliances and a piano. And lastly they moved my business from one location to another which included a 350lb printer. Everything was wrapped and packaged and protected during loading and unloading, they were super fast, very knowledgeable, very careful and very precise with everything. From the beginning, Stacey R. was great and responded to my Yelp quote very quickly and followed up with me via telephone to confirm our move. On moving day, Fermin and his crew were amazing. They were on time, very friendly and went above and beyond our expectations. Not a single item of ours was damaged. I know our move wasn't easy (starting at a 3rd floor apartment and then to a home), but they were very prepared and did not slow down. My parents were also at the final destination with a Uhaul truck and Fermin and his crew stepped in quick to help us move a heavy dining table (so nice of them!). Setting up the appointment with Stacey was so easy and she answered all my questions and managed my expectations and anxieties. Fermin and his team met me at a warehouse where we were storing our furniture and they promptly inspected, wrapped, and HUSTLED! Boxes, several armoires, big pieces...all taken care of and nothing broken or scratched. This was a 2-day job and they never missed a step. We were extremely pleased with Shark Movers when we used them to move this last week. I first talked with Stacey, who explained the process and listened to my concerns about protecting our floors. I liked that she explained the costs upfront so there were no surprises. A few days later Fermin and his crew came and worked efficiently and carefully with our possessions. They put Shark's red "carpet" on our floors and stairs to protect them, and even wrapped the staircase posts with moving blankets to keep them from getting bumped. As they were finishing, they asked if we needed help with anything else, and they ended up unloading our vehicle that was full of boxes! We really appreciated their professionalism and consideration. I cannot say enough about these guys. They were phenomenal. Absolute professionals who went above and beyond. During our move, we had to stop at our storage unit before our final destination. Once we arrived at the storage unit, we found that our unit had gotten about 4 inches of water in it during Harvey. These guys told my wife, not to worry about touching the wet boxes to go through them, and they removed everything for us to examine the contents. They moved everything to one side that had to be thrown out and repacked items that were ok to take. I don't even think they scratched one wall in the house moving in. Fermin and his team showed up early and ready to work! They were professional and hustled the entire time. The 3 guys wrapped all my items up and were careful not to break or scratch anything. We had them take apart furniture, load, make a stop at our storage to load more items, then make a 30 minute drive and unload all items and build the furniture. These guys got it done in 4 hours! Juan, Mike, and Eduardo did a fantastic job moving my apartment into a 4-story home. They called ahead, were on time, and took great care of my belongings while being extremely efficient with their time. Eduardo even noticed some loose chair legs as he was wrapping them and took the time to tighten them before wrapping and moving them to make sure they didn't get damaged. They moved heavy items up two and three flights of stairs, didn't take breaks, and worked together extremely well. They also moved a peloton with great care and set it up perfectly.
