I myself and and almost my entire family has used shark movers and always such a pleasant, seamless quality job. I will continue to recommend them. They recently moved my grandmother out of a senior facility, super fast and got it done all with taking the best precautions. Masks and constantly saw everyone using hand sanitizer and gloves when possible. Really appreciated them. read more

These are the movers you want! I had Fermin and his team and I cannot say enough good things about all 3 of them!!! First, they came highly recommended by almost the entire neighborhood! They arrived on time, were exceptionally professional, kind (to us and each other), polite, respectful of us and our home, understanding of our challenging, multi-stop move, resourceful, patient (this is a huge one for me)!!! They work fast, but they work smart. No damage to furniture or the house - we have some tight spaces! They never rushed us, even though they were moving at an extremely fast rate, we never felt like they were rushing to get to another job. Hands down these ARE the GUYS! The best recommendation for movers that I ever received myself. I WILL be using them for my move and YOU SHOULD too!! read more

I can't rave enough about the crew that helped me move! We have a ton of stuff to move from a two-story house and they immediately dove in and loaded everything with Tetris-like skills. They were cautious with our belongings and everything was put back together beautifully in our new home. They even had to deal with rain towards the end and were careful not to track water inside. I am grateful to Eduardo, Mike and Filmen (?) for making the start of our new chapter as easy as possible. read more

I've used Shark movers twice now and have been very happy both times. Stacey, who set up the appointment, was quick to reply and got us set up fast. Fermin and his team arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently all day for us. They are very organized and helped us move into our new home quickly. We couldn't have done this move without them. Thank you Shark Movers for your consistent great service! read more

Shark movers has done it again! They are AWESOME! Our move was fast, affordable, smooth, perfect, and a great experience. This is our second move and we had an absolutely fabulous experience with them AGAIN. Stacey was so responsive in setting up our move and getting it all nailed down. Fermin was wonderful as always, The team was masked, wore booties, and ensured everything was moved with care. The team just wanted to make it happen for us and did everything with kindness and a smile. We had them move things a few times when moving to our new place to ensure we got the right spot and could leverage their help and they were completely willing to help and be patient with all of our requests! I would highly suggest them to anyone! read more

They moved fast! I am so happy! I will definitely use them again. (I think they should consider referral discounts)

I moved from Midtown to the west side of town and Shark Movers made this one of the easiest moves ever! Fermin, Eduardo, Miguel, Angel and Jesus were a dream team. They packed me, efficiently, and unloaded my things into a 3 story house in no time at all. They were professional, courteous, safe and just a pleasure to be around. I trusted them with my things wholeheartedly and you cannot say that for a lot of movers. This was the best experience I have had and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move in Houston or wherever they service. Thanks guys!!! read more

I was looking for a last minute moving company & decided to use Shark Movers. I cannot say enough about how AMAZING this company is. They were able to fit me in on such a short notice (I contacted them via email around 8:18 pm Tues for movers to come Thursday morning, & received an email back followed by a phone call immediately soon after!!)! They're (from the manager, Stacey, to the movers) very professional, courteous, quick, and efficient! I had Fermin and two other guys, and they were absolutely the best! They dissembled our furniture, wrapped everything (neat & tight), transported everything to our storage unit across town (1 hour away), & unloaded everything into the storage unit all within 6 hours -- this would have taken us all day if we didn't hire them. I cannot rave enough about this company and the movers! Highly highly recommend!!! I will DEFINITELY use them again!! read more

We moved out of our home of 21 years, read some reviews decided to try these movers. Fermin and his team were like machines. They never stopped. They were extremely professional, asking if they could use bathroom. They didn't mind moving furniture a couple of tlmes. As a matter of fact when I was undecided they said if you don't like it we will move it again. They pointed out any damage that existed and were very careful with all items. They wrapped everything and took apart all items to move safely. I highly recommend this time. Their response was exceptional. Thank you Shark movers. read more

These movers are fast, efficient & reasonably priced! They handled all my belongings with care and were very respectful.

I have used Shark Movers on 3 occasions and I'm never disappointed! The movers can pack your belongings with care and they make sure that they don't damage the walls or damage your belongings in any way! In fact, one of my recliners were broken and one of the movers fixed it without me even asking. I appreciate the professionalism shown and I will continue to use them in the future. They also followed the CDC Covid guidelines and kept a mask on the entire time for my most recent move! This review is long overdue but if you are looking for a moving company, look no further. You will be very satisfied with Shark Movers! Thanks again guys!!! read more

I have a unique review for this company. I actually liked their work ethic, the guys moved quick and fast, got everything moved, and were very nice and professional. HOWEVER, one of the guys brought the patio furniture through the middle of the house and ruined an expensive rug. They were very apologetic initially. After noticing the stain during payment the guy said if is not cleaned it will be replaced, was verbally agreed day before departing. The guy who dropped the patio water on the $1300 rug even came out next day to try to remove but was unsuccessful. After talking to Stacy (the office manager), the owners decided only for of the guys came back out to try to remove the stain but unfortunately the cleaning didn't make a difference and brown stain was still there. She offered $100 for the $1300 rug. These guys were a referral to me and was told they would ensure all items would be moved smoothly. Things happen sometime (as mentioned everything else with the move was great). But owners need to step up when things go awry. Mostly happy with movers, very disappointed with owners how situation was handled. Took multiple pics of stain on rug. read more

They were/is a great moving company. Stacy, the Company representative is nice, courteous knowledgeable and very prompt with providing any and all information relating to cost, time and scheduling. Shark Movers provided the fastest and most budget friendly quote. The movers themselves, were professional, efficient , courteous and effective, they triple checked ever pieces and provided updates in a timely fashion. We moved a two bedroom apartment from Cypress, Texas to Brenham, Texas. But in their more than capable hands, the move went seamlessly. read more

Juan & his crew did a great job. I've been going out telling friends how happy I am with them. The crew was very friendly, didn't look ghetto. They were very accommodating & worked so hard. read more

Juan and his team with Shark Movers did our move from Woodlands to Champions today. The guys arrived when they said they would, took a quick tour and got straight to work. They wrap EVERYTHING in pads for protection....which obviously takes longer but so far we haven't discovered a single damaged item, which is a lot to be said for a big move. We went from a 2 story 3 bed + Office with All meds & laundry upstairs to a 4 bed 2 story with master and laundry down and it took 8.75 hours including travel and a typical rainy Houston day. Yes it is a bit expensive, but 100% worth it if you like your furniture. I would absolutely recommend Shark to anyone. read more

These guys are amazing. Everyone in my family has used them and they are all very happy. They are fast, efficient, and most importantly they are honest. If you are looking for movers to take care of your items as their own and get the job done, look no further. You won't regret hiring Fermin and his team! read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would! The team of Shark movers were so awesome. They showed up 15 minutes early to find the best parking, find the apt, and go over the paperwork. They began on time, and stayed within my allotted 3 hour window. They covered and wrapped every single item that was not in a box (couches, nightstands, tables, mattresses... you name it!). They even showed up with extra boxes and tape that came in handy for some lingering items. They quickly broke down my beds (Queen/bunk) in 15 minutes, and put them up for me in the new home when they arrived. The red carpet was unexpected and a great plus! I will be referring everyone I know to Shark Movers! read more

I was very impressed with Shark Movers. I hired them to move all of my furniture and boxes from my existing house in Houston to my new house in Austin, and they truly made the move painless. They worked very efficiently and took great care to protect both my belongings and the walls, etc. The movers were all nice and polite. There really isn't much more to say, other than the fact that they did such an impressive job that it compelled me to leave a Yelp review, which I do not do very often. I would recommend them without reservation. read more

This moving company is fantastic and highly recommended. I moved from the suburbs into downtown and they gave me such peace of mind during the entire move. They are very careful with all of your belongings especially those that you care the most about. The guys were on time, courteous, and very careful when wrapping and packing the truck. They continually gave me updates, ask questions, and pointed things out to let me know so I could feel secure and comfortable. Moving is very stressful, but the boys are fantastic. When I called to schedule the move, Stacie helped me and was very informative and sweet when scheduling the date of the move. In the event that I have to move again, I will definitely be calling and relying on shark movers. The work they did was Outstanding. I don't even think they ever took a break. Ha ha they made me feel as though they were moving their own personal belongings, and that definitely made this experience fantastic. They went above and beyond and I could have never asked for a better moving experience. I highly recommend this company because they will take care of you like they are personally moving their families. read more

Fermin and his crew did a 2 day move for us. It was huge. They arrived in a timely manner hit the ground running. They have it down to a very efficient and cheerful system! They took great care with all of our things, pointing out places that were already scratched and protecting things so well. Then they protected my new wood floors with red mats every where they went. And did they HUSTLE! They never slowed their pace. They earned every penny they made. Stacy made sure to communicate often. I have used another moving company highly recommended on this site but believe me when I say Shark movers is heads above the others! I would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

Best experience EVER! The crew was punctual, professional, friendly, conscientious and safe. This is the first time in over a dozen moves (with other companies), that all our furnishings arrived at their destination in the same condition they left their original location. The crew even beat us to the destination! Will happily use them again in the future. Highly recommend! read more

This is by far the best moving company I have ever worked with. The crew was not only on time but EARLY! I was luckily connected with a team of 4 instead of the 3 that was expected. They were incredibly respectful of us and our things during the entire moving process. Nothing was broken or damaged. They helped with anything we asked ie taking apart furniture and putting it back together. Wouldn't choose any other moving company in Houston! Thanks Ferman! read more

This is the second time I've used them, and once again Fermin and his team were awesome! They were on time, brought plenty of materials to protect the items being moved, and hustled the entire time. Couldn't be happier with their moving services. I had to reschedule due to weather and they accomodated me immediately. The move went smoothly, everything was packaged well, and the price was right with no silly additional charges. I will use them again on my next move, highly recommend Shark Movers! read more

We've had movers before, but none quite as good as these guys. Fermin and the crew packed up the big house (4400 sq feet) and moved us in to a new place over the course of two days. They were on time, professional, everything was wrapped, labeled, and not one item broken. The first day, they worked 13 hours stopping for only a half hour break. During the unpacking the following day, the furniture was assembled and placed wherever we liked it. We had a little issue with having too much stuff for the truck and they worked it out with no issue. The initial communication and execution on the move was excellent and they will be our first call for our future calls. They are highly recommended and there is no way you would be disappointed with these guys. read more

I highly recommend. So happy with the service provided twice! Extremely professional, punctual, and the amount of care put into ensuring your personals are secure. They are worth the money spent. read more

We used Shark for a move from an apartment to a hi-rise. Our move required two additional stops and three storage units. Our new home is downtown, which presents its own set of challenges. Shark was punctual, called ahead as promised and worked 12-hours straight with hardly a break. They were courteous and extremely careful. They really cared that we were happy with where things were placed. We had Fermin's team and all four were absolutely amazing. And they came back two days later to pick up our empty boxes. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

I have moved many households, and I have had great experiences and terrible ones. My experience with Shark Movers has to rate as one of the VERY BEST. Fermin is a consummate professional. Stacey is flexible and utterly pleasant to work with. The crew was friendly, hardworking, flexible and most importantly, CAREFUL. Ours was not an easy move-- big furniture, old pieces and fragile artifacts. Everything is in its rightful place. Honestly, if there was another star, I would have given it! This was by far the best moving experience we have had. We used Shark Movers twice, once to move our belongings from our home to a storage unit and then from the storage unit to our new house. The response time to book was fast. Fermin and his crew moved our belongings out and we were so impressed by them that we specifically booked him again for our move from the storage unit. They were on time, courteous, and professional. Not one of our items was damaged. They laid out plastic on the stairs/hallway carpet and had mats at the door so they would not damage the house. Our house is painted white and there was not one scuff or mark on the walls. I would highly recommend this company. read more

After reading all of the rave reviews on yelp, I decided to book Shark Movers for my recent move. Silly me, I contacted them a few weeks before I wanted to move but they were booked 4 weekends in advance. I ended up scheduling a Monday morning move. No worries, I should have been more organized and called sooner. Fermin called the evening before to confirm my appointment. He then called again the morning of the move when he was about 15 minutes away. Fermin and his crew were very polite and professional. Fermin walked through the apartment with me and they got right to it. I had requested 2 movers but noticed a 3rd gentlemen helping some of the time. The wrapped my furniture in blankets and/or shrink wrap to protect it. They worked quickly and efficiently, even disconnecting my washer and dryer for me. My new place was less than 2 miles away. The new place required them to go up stairs and it didn't slow them down at all. They finished the entire move in exactly 2 hours. WOW! So why only 4 stars? There was a discrepancy in what I was quoted to what I was charged. I emailed Stacey at Shark, to receive an initial quote. The quote was as follows: 2 movers ($89 per hr.) or 3 movers ($109 per hour), $65 trip charge, 2 hour minimum. Since I was downsizing from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 1 bedroom, I opted for the 2 movers, especially since we got rid of a lot of stuff (including most of my furniture). When I received the invoice I noticed I was charged for 3 hours. I immediately contacted Stacey. At first she said it was because they ended up using 3 movers instead of 2. I never asked for 3, I booked 2 movers. I then stated that ok, if that was the case I should only be charged an additional $20 per hour ($40 total-2 hours) for the third mover instead of $89 for an extra hour. She then stated that she sent me an old quote because now they have a 3 hour minimum, so they just charged me for 2 movers at 3 hours as it would have taken at least 3 hours if I had only had 2 movers. Again, great service for the actual move and I would use them again. Just make sure you get a clear, correct quote to avoid any billing surprises. read more

Recently moved within Katy, checked out several movers before deciding on Shark because of their 38 5* rating. Fermin and the 2 guys who came worked hard throughout the day, nothing was damaged or ruined. They pointed out all damaged items before wrapping. Everything was wrapped pristinely and they put all the beds/furniture together perfectly. They even moved things around until we were satisfied where we wanted the furniture in the room. Totally professional and came exactly on time at 8am even though the time was 8-9am. Easy to communicate with and the price is very reasonable in line with what others charge. I would recommend them 100% for any move. read more
