Since many Mexican restaurants serve them automatically, seeing them as a paid appetizer felt a bit disappointing. Fortunately, the entrees more than made up for it. The Shrimp Fajitas arrived sizzling hot and packed with flavor, featuring perfectly seasoned shrimp and fresh vegetables. The Shrimp Quesadilla, prepared fajita-style, combined those same bold flavors inside a crispy tortilla and was a standout dish. The Blackened Seafood Burrito was another excellent choice, loaded with well-seasoned seafood and substantial enough to satisfy a healthy appetite. What keeps us coming back to 10th Avenue Burrito Co. is the consistency. The food is always flavorful, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

We also have been coming to 10th ave for years and it's a favorite for the whole family. My wife and I have been coming since we were in college and now we bring our kids. Sure maybe the food has changed over the years and gotten a little more expensive but what hasn't? We love to come for some of their special nights like Quesadillas on Wednesdays or wings on Thursdays. Their "Baby Dilla" is an unbeatable deal for the kids, I think it is $4 for a small chicken and cheese quesadilla... and the staff is always super accommodating to our little ones! You know what you're getting at 10th ave, a cold beer, good wings, chill people, and a nice night out in Belmar we will keep coming back for years to come. Hope this 5 star review balances out a ridiculous 1 star review. Sincerely, A Yelping Hand

The execution of the food was decent and the decor was lovely, but given that we were the only folks in the restaurant for some time, this is NOT a restaurant I'd recommend for folks looking for a great lunch in the area.

When we picked up takeout the other night they mislabeled a few of our tacos but thankfully the order was correct. My go-to the order is the Baja mahi taco and the garlic shrimp taco. I stared right into her eyes as I walked in and greeted her with a smile and said hi. She just looked at me as if there was a fly on my forehead. I awkwardly stood there to read the menu and ended getting the mahi taco and the garlic shrimp taco all for a combo. Combo comes with nachos, beans and rice. I would skip this as the beans and rice were bland. They didn't add any seasoning but honestly it's kind of hard to mess rice and beans up. The chips were ok but you'd need queso cheese to compliment it which is extra. The mahi taco lacked so much flavor and the fried fish was cold. I was so disappointed but still ate since the food here wasn't exactly cheap either. Fortunately, the grilled shrimp was the come back for flavor here and saved the day. Maybe just don't order the fish from here? The chef was in an F it mood tonight? Who knows but lord knows I won't be making the same mistake twice. The salsa bar there was intriguing but the flavor and spice disappointed just like everything else on the menu. I don't think I would come back to surf taco.
