Fish Tacos ( 3 per Order)

Crispy rice is all time fave dish. Bao buns were very delicious. It did take a bit to order food and wait so def suggest ordering ahead .

The secret seemed to already get out about Santo Ceviche: this is the place to come for simple, fresh, authentic and non-authentic ceviche. This is complemented by a simple, clean ambiance with outdoor seating available. Add some plantain chips at the suggestion of a friendly counter staff and a solid, healthy meal can be attained in a strip mall that's full of culinary hits. Side note: we had planned on visiting Simply Southern, but they stopped seating over an hour before the posted hours on the door.

Stopped into this place for a bite when we saw the menu outside. Had 10/10 pork buns and blackened shrimp tacos. The customer service was so wonderful she informed us the bao buns will take a little while and gave us this delicious desert because we waited (we didn't even wait that long in my opinion) highly recommend .

Stopped at Santo Ceviche on our way home from Sandy Hook. We called in our order and by the time we got there, it was ready to be picked up. It seems like a semi-permanent food truck spot with some nice outdoor tables with umbrellas. We decided to go all out and get a bunch of things, but made the dumb mistake of not trying at least one ceviche. Fish tacos were really good and extremely filling. The ceviche tostadas were good, very tiny little shrimps, but really messy to eat - they were probably my least favorite. But the ABSOLUTE BEST was the tuna tartare sandwich. Holy hell, it was so good. Fresh tuna with some Asian-style flavors wedged between two crispy green plantains... whoever invented this is a genius. It honestly didn't look very appealing when we opened the container, but this is why we don't judge based on appearances. Will definitely be back for some fresh ceviche after the beach!

Great beach spot. Had a late lunch there for two- healthy, tasty, and light on a brutally hot day. Tuna ceviche, shrimp tostadas, and sweet plaintains. Had a chicha morada to drink which is refreshing and not something you see on too many menus. Friendly service! Wonderful addition to belmar.

Very friendly service and we were given great advice on what to order. We never had ceviche before but absolutely loved what we got. Everything was so fresh!

The menu is a fantastic blend of authentic Peruvian flavors with distinct Japanese and Chinese influences that make this cuisine so unique. The atmosphere is modest, warm, and incredibly welcoming, and our server was absolutely terrific. I had the Bistec a la Pobre ($22) -- a perfectly-marinated hanger steak served over generous portions of french fries, white rice topped with a freshly fried egg, and a side of grilled sweet plantains. YUM! The flavors were absolutely spot on. My dining companion loved her Pollo Saltado ($19) -- a generous portion of tender, boneless marinated chicken sauteed with onion, peppers, and tomato served over french fries with a side of white rice. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home to enjoy with your meal. Peru Chikann is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: Bring cash. Peru Chikann has added a surcharge for using credit cards to pay for your meal.

Was around the area and wanted something different. Couldn't have meat today and they were able to do the green spaghetti dish with shrimp instead of the usual steak. :) he recommended the soup with chicken (going to taste the broth but I've never tried Peruvian soup before), and their purple corn drink (highly recommend) which I also never had. The soup (pic below) is so good with that squeeze of lime and the Peruvian hot sauce (it's not that spicy but gives the soup EXTRA flavors that my mind and heart is so grateful for! Oh and taste buds! lol :) And Peruvian cookies are so good! lol I highly recommend this place!

From the outside it doesn't look like much but when you walk in you feel like you 've walked into a restaurant in Peru. You can tell where the authentic food is by observing who eats there. Juan attended to us immediately and we ordered the Chicha Morada, A popular drink made from Peruvian purple corn and pineapple. Very delicious and highly recommended! I ordered the ceviche seafood mixta and my wife ordered the Whole Fish with fried yucca. We shared our plates and everything was more than delicious. We have experienced Peruvian food at another popular Peruvian restaurant is not which does not compare to the food offered here. We will definitely be returning to sample some of the many authentic dishes offered on their menu. I highly recommend this modest restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious dinner!

The only reason why I would not give this five stars is because they don't do any desserts with the all you can eat. I love ending my meal with some green tea ice cream, so that was a bummer that I couldn't get it at the end. But overall, it's in a beautiful location the service is outstanding, and the inside is beautiful!
