The secret seemed to already get out about Santo Ceviche: this is the place to come for simple, fresh, authentic and non-authentic ceviche. This is complemented by a simple, clean ambiance with outdoor seating available. Add some plantain chips at the suggestion of a friendly counter staff and a solid, healthy meal can be attained in a strip mall that's full of culinary hits. Side note: we had planned on visiting Simply Southern, but they stopped seating over an hour before the posted hours on the door.

Crispy rice is all time fave dish. Bao buns were very delicious. It did take a bit to order food and wait so def suggest ordering ahead .

Stopped into this place for a bite when we saw the menu outside. Had 10/10 pork buns and blackened shrimp tacos. The customer service was so wonderful she informed us the bao buns will take a little while and gave us this delicious desert because we waited (we didn't even wait that long in my opinion) highly recommend .

Stopped at Santo Ceviche on our way home from Sandy Hook. We called in our order and by the time we got there, it was ready to be picked up. It seems like a semi-permanent food truck spot with some nice outdoor tables with umbrellas. We decided to go all out and get a bunch of things, but made the dumb mistake of not trying at least one ceviche. Fish tacos were really good and extremely filling. The ceviche tostadas were good, very tiny little shrimps, but really messy to eat - they were probably my least favorite. But the ABSOLUTE BEST was the tuna tartare sandwich. Holy hell, it was so good. Fresh tuna with some Asian-style flavors wedged between two crispy green plantains... whoever invented this is a genius. It honestly didn't look very appealing when we opened the container, but this is why we don't judge based on appearances. Will definitely be back for some fresh ceviche after the beach!

Great beach spot. Had a late lunch there for two- healthy, tasty, and light on a brutally hot day. Tuna ceviche, shrimp tostadas, and sweet plaintains. Had a chicha morada to drink which is refreshing and not something you see on too many menus. Friendly service! Wonderful addition to belmar.

Very friendly service and we were given great advice on what to order. We never had ceviche before but absolutely loved what we got. Everything was so fresh!

I walked in and two super nice young ladies were making and serving the food. I appreciated that I was greeted right away and my order taken right away. If Yelp had star options for both the food and the service, I definitely would have given them 4 or 5 stars. I almost always go completely overboard when I try a place the first time. I picked up almost $80 worth of takeout so that I could try a little bit of everything. I really, really wanted to love the food here but I didn't. Unfortunately I didn't really find anything that I ordered that flavorful. The food wasn't bad by any means, it just didn't have the delicious flavors that I normally associate with great Puerto Rican food. As I mentioned it was an unbelievably hot day so maybe the cook was having an off day because of that. If I'm ever driving by there, I'd probably give it another chance since it has such great reviews from other people.

I would definitely stop in again or order takeout from here. It's a nice family restaurant with authentic cuisine. Parking might be an issue since it's in middle of New Brunswick.

The reasons I'm not giving 5 stars is because they always bring the appetizers at the same time they bring the entrées, and the beef empanadas have no beef, only potatoes and onions. There was very loud bachata music and out walked this person that I can't call her a waitress, I have respect for waitresses they work very hard, she comes to our table we say hi and all she said was "what do you want to order". We put in the order and she turns up the music and starts singing in the kitchen. We ordered the bandeja paisa when it came out the pork was tasteless and very chewy, the Colombian chorizo tasted and had the consistency of cardboard, the rice was good and so was the steak. And then she turned the music louder yet I had to call her almost yelling to ask for the check it was almost like a comedy show. My other half and me looked at each other laughed and just said. NEVER AGAIN!!! What a disaster. If you want to have a half decent dinner don't even think about this place. Service 0. Noise 90 decibels. Food 1.
