They are topping off drinks with water when you ask for less or half ice... I ordered brewed tea not water, some people actually like the taste of strong tea vs. watered down "tea". As far as I can tell, this is what I would call "shady business practices"... used to like this place but I'm good on it now after seeing this happen to my drink. I should have went with my usual jasmine tea with lychee boba. This time around I decided to be more adventurous and went for the peach tea with Aygi (spelling?) jelly and kiwi because the picture looked so damn refreshing. And I even asked for no sugar in anticipation of the jelly and the kiwi fruit being sweet. Refreshing it was not. Went to their friends and family event yesterday and it was quite crowded! I ordered the classic pearl green milk tea (30% sweet), a strawberry tea with aloe (0% sweet) and the coffee ice blended with ice cream. They were very friendly and answered all my questions! They have quite an expansive menu! The milk tea was delicious and their boba was great! Not too soft or hard, perfectly chewy. The tea drink was refreshing but not overly sweet and the aloe was a nice add on. The coffee drink had a good flavor but wasn't well blended. There were lots of ice chips and my boyfriend gave up trying to drink it. The scoop of ice cream on top was yummy though! Only complaints would be the wait (over an hour!) and the blended drink needs to be smoother and have a better consistency. Love this chain, got a Matcha Milk Tea for my daughter. First time trying this location, it had a lot of signage but I understand they have to advertise their new products. I did love the interactive white board for people to be artistic and share their favorite drinks with everybody. The cashier was very friendly to my daughter as she took her order. Sharetea has been popping up in lots of places around the OC. It's consistently good and they always have some new drinks that are featured. Since I'm a milk tea with boba fan, I always get some variation of it whether oolong tea, black tea or anything with milk and boba. When in doubt, get a nice milk tea and make sure to add boba for that texture. You can ask for your drinks with less ice or adjust sweetness level. The Ginger milk tea was really tasty and it was my first time having it here. There's a little zest from the ginger which goes great with the silky smoothness of the milk added to it. We come to this store many times. It's my first time to have issue with the service. We came in the first of the batch crowd on a Saturday. The ordering kiosk I used was stuck midway through the order. As other guests behind me used the other machine to order one by one, I still patiently waited until one staff was freed up to tell her the machine was non responsive. She told me she can take my order directly but give her a few minutes to wrap up works at hand. I patiently waited another 5-7 min until she finally came back to me. After the order was in, I mentioned shouldn't our order go first as we first came and were stuck by the machine for a long time. She responded she'll fix that for me. We've waited and waited, and nearly everyone coming in after us got the drinks while we were still waiting. I finally walked up to the counter and ask didn't she say she'll address our order first. She simply apologized and told me we will work on your order now. That's another wait until we finally got our orders. Granted, the staff kept polite attitude. But it should almost be a common sense to address a belated order for your customer due to your equipment malfunction. An unforeseen delay is okay. But lack of proper service training made this experience terrible. read more

I ordered the QQ Happy Family milk tea with less ice today. But what I received was a cup half full with ice. I've been coming here several times, so figured it was a mistake. But when I asked for it to get fixed, the guy there said, "less ice is half ice." Really???? I've been here so many times and that's never happened. Not even at the Irvine location. When I said to still fix it, he kept giving me reasons that there's no point to, so I left not wanting to waste my time. Kind of disappointing. If you look at someone else's picture from 4 days ago with less ice ordered, it doesn't look like the one here. Same drink too. Update: why ask customers for the ice level if they insist it doesn't change the quality and they don't honor the request? Reading Nicole's comment, I know how the drinks are made... however I did not ask for a drink filled half with ice. Again, never had this issue before...all you had to do was take ownership and acknowledge it was a mistake and train the team to produce consistent drinks. 1. Not everyone drinks their beverages fast (ice is obviously going to melt), so the claim from the manager that the quality wasn't affected is not true. Some customers get less ice to mitigate the chance of dealing with over-diluted drinks. With teas, it's not tasty. Which DID happen. I even bought a 2nd drink that day for a friend, and he mentioned the same thing. By the time I gave it to him, it was watered down. 2. Nicole's comment about quality of service... I think your team could've just fixed it by putting in less ice. I asked for it, but did not get any. That wasn't good service. It even says 'less ice' on the receipt. I'd hate to see what "normal" ice level looks like... 3. Taking ownership and acknowledge the mistake. I think that would've been enough to change my mind but the response was disappointing. Quality of tea is masked by the amount of sugar used in your drinks. Every time I've gone in, your employee tell me to do 50% sweet because the drinks at 100% is too sweet. In my experience it was definitely not a 5/5 cleanliness. As for the mojito you can always make adjustments, you can't tell me you cant calculate for a higher drink volume to give a better portion for the price that is being charged. I like this franchise. They are really good at making their drinks. I went tonight and I usually get less ice but there was so much ice in my drink! I come to this location maybe once per month and this is the only time my order was kinda wrong. But if I'm paying over $5 for a drink I'd want it right I guess. Everything else about here is great. So happy there is finally a good Boba place in Lake Forest. Just recently discovered this thru IG ads and finally got to check it out 2 weeks ago. Apparently this place is popular among the teens. I ordered their Taro blended boba which already comes with pudding and it was good. You can also have the option to adjust the sweetness and ice to your preference i.e 50%, 25 % etc. The only thing was they gave me the wrong drink. The cashier mistook Taro for strawberry blended, a common problem with wearing masks, but they rectified it right away. They also gave me a Share card which i had stamped on next visit. I had a great experience at this location. It was my 1st time here and it did not disappoint. I have never been to a ShareTea before and was pleasantly surprise with the many options of drink. They had milk-teas, smoothies, and even mojitos. The mojitos are virgin, they just make it have a mojito "flavoring." One of my favorite things about this place is that they have milk alternatives. I have lactose intolerance and I am so glad that I can get almond/soy milk in my boba instead of suffering from a post-boba stomach-ache. I ordered a Wintermelon Milk Tea with boba, herb jelly, and almond milk. I got light ice and 30% sweetness. It was one of the best Wintermelon drink that I have tasted, and I will go back for sure! The service was friendly and they had great COVID-19 precautions. They had the glass and only allowing 5 people inside at once. After ordering the drink, you have to wait outside to wait for your number to be called. If you do not like that, just order online for pick-up. read more

So first and foremost I want to say that Im soooo glad we finally have a good boba place in this area! I no longer have to drive 10+ miles out of the way to get some good boba tea! I came around 12:40 pm-ish and was lucky that there were only a couple people in line ahead of me. There were also a few people waiting for drinks. The woman that took my order gave me great service and was very nice: she repeated my order and also asked if I had a stamp card yet. She promptly gave me one when i told her i hadn't yet and double stamped it b/c of their promotion. From the time my order was taken to the time i received it was probably about 10 min or so. This is a little longer than average wait time but understandable b/c they are in a "soft opening phase" and are still trying to streamline everything so I didn't mind at all. My order consisted of: Mango Passion, 80% sweet, light ice, boba Fresh Milk Tea (oolong), 50% sweet, light ice Matcha Red Bean Milk Tea, 30% sweet Everything came out REALLY good and the boba was fresh (and was a generous scoop). Even my picky grandma LOVED her matcha drink lol I would say the standard sweetness for the drinks is pretty sweet (like most boba places) so take that into account too. I might try the 50% sweet for my drink next time. I would definitely recommend coming here if you haven't tried a Sharetea before! the taste is pretty consistent with their other locations (LB and Costa Mesa). I will definitely be coming here frequently from now on! :) Side note: I asked if they were considering online ordering in the future. They said they're eventually going to do it but not considering it until after their soft opening and until they get everything situated! I think a lot of people were asking about this. Went here for the first time today, not only does it stay open late, til 9, the store is clean, staff is friendly, oh and the drinks aren't too bad either. My go to drink is a milk Jasmine Green Tea. They didn't have this but they recommended a jasmine tea and adding almond milk to it. It was so good, the amount of boba was nice too, definitely more than what I'm used to at some places. This place is located across from the El Toro library, even though there is a fence in the way there. My friend liked the Sharetea concentrate that one could buy from 99 Ranch so she wanted to try a physical location to see if it was any different. We decided to get some and she said it was good, though she didn't like the flavor I ordered when we shared some of it. I had no issue with the flavor so maybe it was just our differing taste buds for the flavors we ordered. There was no line at the time so we could decide at our leisure and it didn't take long to come out. They had a tiny discount if one paid with cash, so I gave them cash. Based on a quick calculation this amount is approximately the same as a transaction fee. At the time they had a buy one get one free on some flavors so we took advantage of that. There are PokéStops in the library so one can collect items but they don't seem close enough to sit in the building to utilize for lures. read more

Wow! This place was super busy today, but they did a very good job of pumping out their teas/bobas. I wanted to give a shout out to the staff as this lady had erroneously place an order for a drink online and was demanding to cut in front of everyone to get Boba added to her drink. The female cashier was patient and friendly eventhough there was a line behind me. The two employees at the back were super busy making the orders ( they were able to keep up with the orders). Since this is new, they will learn to adjust but I do hope they will add one more employee at the back and one more blender to keep up with the demand. Unfortunately, today I learned that they've transferred to a digital loyalty program using a Clover app. Perfectly normal, same thing happened at another establishment who still honored my card by swapping my incomplete card for a free drink (which was extra generous because I only had a few stamps on that one). But at this Sharetea, the employee said they wouldn't accept the card. A card that was already filled out 100% from purchasing 10 drinks! Nice boba/tea place in Mission Viejo/Lake Forest border. They have a lot of items on their menu and lots of customization (sweetness, ice, topping, etc). My family and I usually order the classic pearl milk tea with black tea and boba. I also tried the peach tea with aiyu jelly. It was great! I really enjoyed it. The staff are always friendly.
