Just got back from a week-long RV roadtrip up the CA coast using a 22' 2020 Minnie Winnie from ShareMyCoach and it was a fantastic experience. Aside from the amazing places we visited, the RV was clean and in great condition. The staff was super friendly throughout the pickup process and responsive when on the road and needing some guidance regarding the hookups. The RV was stocked with enough kitchen supplies that, with few exceptions, we only needed to take our preferred cleaning supplies and food. I do recommend a cast iron skillet if you are going to do any camping. Overall it was an memorable trip made even better with the reliable RV and awesome staff from ShareMyCoach.

After having a terrible experience with another RV rental we fortunately got introduced to ShareMyCoach here. We got meet Rudolph who was so nice and extremely helpful. He got us a really amazing RV in such short notice and explained everything so well. We had a great 5 days travel without any issues, Rudolph was there to meet us and check us in after trip. I truly recommend Rudolph and ShareMyCoach.

Service is fake up front alot of pretending for customer service. But on the return it's rude and all about collection time .. what terrible service Joe, he is the owner of the store and the franchisor. Sales rep quickly explains in a rush and is expecting something to go wrong. Gives a tech phone for texting help questions. This guy has a broken phone and can't see the screen so text is a waste of time. Upholstery was torn before starting... this isn't disclosed. I would rent elsewhere, pictures are not a Tru depiction. And fuel surcharge exists. Since these are other people's RV they are as is. Be aware

Joe & his team are so informative & so easy to work with. My family & I didn't know what to expect at all coming here. We have never rented an FV before. They were soooo patience with all of our questions & every RV we wanted to look at. They have so many on the lot, you'd easily find one that fits your needs. Joe even gave us his personal number just in case we had an emergency with the RV. Their rental system is so easy to navigate too from start to finish & really straight forward. You can pick up the RV & leave your car on the lot. Or pick it up & drive it home ORRRR they even deliver!!! (for a charge) Highly recommend this business. For sure will rent again when the time comes.

7Just got back from our 1st ever rv vacation like a lot of folks recently bc of covid, and in short, I would definitely rent from SMC again. To be a fair, honest review that'll be useful for renters, though, I will go over both the highlights & lowlights of the experience which will illustrate why this was a 4 star, above average, but not 5 star, stellar, experience. Moreover, perhaps SMC will take my review as constructive criticism which could help them garner more 5 star reviews if they truly want to improve and not just accept the status quo which would be easy to do right now as they are currently inundated w/ business. First off, the highlights: - Simple, quick rental experience. I was able to get the last available rv they had for my dates and needless to say it wasn't the biggest, newest, or prettiest coach to look at but it did its job and I'm not deducting the 1 star because of the rv itself. Initially I wanted a "5 star resort" rv but I ended up having to settle for the"motel 6"model. The initial rental paperwork, the pickup orientation, and dropoff inspection were quick and to the point - The pickup orientation and online videos were thorough and more than adequate to comfortably get me on the road. - They have a large selection of RVs of all lengths and types. If you are flexible with your dates you'll have many more options than I did. This was one of the things that drew me to renting from SMC rather than from one of the cookie cutter rv places like Cruise America with their tacky billboard RVs. -They offer easy 3rd party insurance coverage if your auto insurer doesn't offer free rider additions to your current policy as was the case with mine(geico). -They gave me some credit for the fact that I didn't utilize any of the included generator hours And now, the "lowlights"/constructive criticism: - While signing up for and paying for the 3rd party insurance literally only took at most 10 minutes over the phone when I finally got a hold of someone useful, it took me no less than 4 phone calls and an email in total to get this squared away! Each time I would give them a few days to see if they would follow through and each time I got nothing until the final call where a very helpful gentleman was able to get this taken care of over the phone. I understand they are super busy right now but it shouldn't take that much effort on my part to get this essential part of the rental taken care of. They could easily just post a link on their website pointing customers to the insurance company they want us to use if they do not want to hassle with this part of the process. - Given the current covid situation, I expect cleanliness to be of paramount importance and wow...the kitchen/bathroom floor was DISGUSTING. They charge a prep and cleaning fee which is all the more reason why my rental should have been clean throughout. Whether I'm renting a low end or a premium rv I expect the same level of cleanliness. In the process of wiping down my rv before I let my family enter it, I found the floor to be FILTHY. Clearly the floor had not been washed in a long time. NASTY. For cleaning equipment and labor to wash that less than 15square feet flooring, you could easily do it properly for 20 bucks and that's being generous...if they don't believe me, I'll come do that job for easy cash. - Realize that unlike renting a car, where little scratchers are ignored and dings smaller than a quarter are not penalized, this place WILL seek out, find, and charge $ for anything they can which honestly makes me hesitant to rent anything nicer than what I did in the future. Some tree branches along the road had rubbed up against the very rear of my rv while driving and caused some very superficial scratches which I only saw when pointed out during the return inspection. I understand that in theory, these RVs need to maintained in a certain condition to hold their rental appeal but like auto rental companies accept some level of wear and tear, so should businesses like SMC; it's part of the cost of this business and when you get tickytack like this it's a real turnoff...I'm sure SMC disagrees but this is just my opinion and an important FYI for those reading this review. To put things in context, it's not like I scratched up a new luxury coach...this was a 12+ year old, aged rv with outside rust spots, water stains, dings and scratches, and peeling components. See pics for examples. Had I known I got those superficial scratches I would have washed and buffed it myself before returning it rather than being charged $120. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend SMC. I doubt my lowlights aren't present from other similar services, and slim pickings with regard to current vacationing options mean maybe you just have to accept some things you normally wouldn't.

Everything functioned in the RV as advertised, and there were no issues that interrupted our drive or experience. The RV had 3 beds that were about full size each, but the kids primarily used the one in the back. We were able to connect their Playstation to the TV which made the kids (and I) especially happy. The RV did get warm from time to time considering we drove during a warm spell, so we just cooled it down with the generator before we started driving and then turned it off and used the main cabin vehicle AC to keep it cool so we didn't used much propane. The bathroom worked great, and the vents/ fans kept the bathroom and coach smelling normal. One of the very convenient amenities was having on-board WiFi which allowed the kids to have all the entertainment options they're normally used to at home. Also, Jane was great in giving me, a first-time RV driver/user, a thorough introduction to all the features and functionality of the RV. There are convenient QR codes throughout the RV that provide instructions on how to use everything. Well thought out. If I were to ask for any "nice to haves", I'd say maybe a little more engine power. The RV seems to be most comfortable between 60 and 70 mph, and you just have to be mindful during uphill climbs. Overall, it was a great experience that was relaxing and stress free for my kids, which is stress free for me. I'd recommend to friends or family. Ed and Arturo took great care of us, making sure that we had everything we needed, and even went over specific tips and tricks we could use to conserve as much power as possible since we were boondocking for the first time. Ed answered my billion questions over the months leading up to our booking, and made me feel very confident and secure everything would go well. Arturo gave us a great walkthrough of all the RV's features and really set us up for success. When you're talking with these guys, you know that they really care about you having a fantastic and easy time on your adventures. The RV was fully stocked with everything we could have needed - linens, coffee machine, kitchen gear, cleaning supplies, the works! I definitely did not need to pack so much, because it was clear that they had already thought of everything their clients might need. The RV was pristinely clean and didn't have a single technical issue. And the fact that they take Sunday dropoffs was a lifesaver! This was the first time we'd ever rented an RV, and the whole experience was so smooth and comfortable that I can't wait for another excuse to go on an RV trip. We definitely will be booking with Road Shark in the future.

8/8/24-8/11/24 Mini-getaway…read more My family and I are not outdoorsy people, but we decided to surprise my kids with an opportunity to glamp with a fancy RV. I did a lot of research on private rental companies vs. owner rentals. I really liked how luxurious the interiors were and how they offered delivery and pick up. It was more pricey but I wanted to be comfortable. I decided to give Road shark a try and it worked out beautifully. *One thing I did not know is how much additional rental insurance etc. you had to tack on with the rental. Besides that, the amenities were suitable for my family of four and my two fur boys. I checked in with Brett prior to delivery date to get some of my questions answered. He personally delivered the RV and gave us a run down of all the amenities and how to operate everything. I appreciated the accuracy of the yelp photos of the interiors. So many times you rent and find out when you arrive, the pictures were very outdated and what you get paid is not what you get. Not in this case. I paid for Wifi connection but they did not bring an ipad for connectivity. Brett apologized and said he would comp us for the Wifi charge. He told us we could just use our phone's hotspot and connect. It worked out nicely, and we had Wifi at the campgrounds. We were comped for it. Brett made sure we understood all instructions before he hailed an uber back to LA. Since it was out first time RV-ing, we went to KOA in San Diego to reduce anxiety. the drive was smooth up to 65 miles per hour. When we exceeded the recommended speed, things would start rattling and shaking. We quickly understood why we had to adhere to the speed recommended to drive. Other than that, my kids were very happy sitting in the back enjoying their onboard entertainment. When we arrived at the campgrounds, went pulled into our spot with full hookups. We took note the black water port did not have an adapter so we could not hook it up full time to empty. I texted Brett and he said we could either purchase a kit that would be reimburses or not empty it (and we would not get charged since no adapter). We later figured out a way how to manually empty as needed. Everything else worked well. I was extremely surprised at how well the convection oven/microwave worked for the kids chicken nuggets and corn dogs. Even though all the kitchenware was included in the RV, we still brought our own pans and disposable dishware. The beds were clean, freshly laundered sheets smelled great but did not fit the beds well (probably a common issue). It only comes with 3 sets of sheets and towels. Only two pillows which I also asked Brett about. He said we could purchase some and they will comp us for the cost. We survived without it. We took a shower the first night on the RV but then decided to transition to the showers in the building due to space. The onboard water temp and pressure was great. I did not have to worry about running out of hot water. The toilet flush pressure was also ideal to combat my husbands bathroom trips. No issues with the kitchen sink or any other appliances. The fridge was a perfect size for all our meats and frozen desserts. The car shades in front and the shades for the interior created a perfect environment for sleep. We really enjoy the outside LED light awnings. We utilized the camp ground picnic table and internet to eat dinners and watch movies around the campfire. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Brett had great communication throughout the trip and the last day as we came home. I let him know we were heading back and he let us know when he would be coming over to provide pick up. We got home, he came to pick up the RV, and he was on his way back to LA. About a week later I received the email about the $1,500 deposit scheduled for refund on our account, and he swapped the pick up delivery/fee with the Wifi charge. I highly recommend renting with RoadShark RV. We had a great newbie glamping experience. The price of a comfortable and newer interior rental made all the difference for me and my family. Thank you again, Brett for the awesome customer service!

Our goal for the trip was to have a fun, memorable, and safe experience in the journey and our Loft camper exceeded our expectations. The vehicle is thoughtfully and beautifully designed and maintained with the traveler's comfort and safety as the forefront in their priorities. From start to finish, altCamp's does a thorough and detailed job of guiding you through the entire process. On the day of our camper van pick up, we met with Adam, the owner. He is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and detailed in walking us through all of the functions and amenities of the vehicle to make sure we understood how everything worked and that we were comfortable with everything. He also provided his contact information in case we needed to reach him during our trip if we had any questions or concerns. Here are some of the highlights for the altCamp's Loft camper worth noting from us- * The performance of the vehicle itself is got a lot of power, great steering, and although you were in a sprinter van, it does not feel big at all. Zero issues with parking the vehicle in a standard parking lot space. * The layout of the interior is strategically designed with beautiful craftsmanship throughout. We were pleasantly surprised by the multiple storage areas and cubbies that made it helpful to be able to pack and bring along with us to have some comforts of home within the camper van. * The bed is incredibly comfortable, and after a long day of adventure, it really did give us a great night's sleep, and helped us to recharge for the next day. * We appreciated the very smart and thoughtful design of the sink and table top area. The stovetop heated up surprisingly fast and allowed us cook and boil water within minutes. The refrigerator and the freezer was very generously sized and we were able to fit a lot of food and drinks in there. * Both the front and back seats were very comfortable when on the road. We were able to configure and move the back seats to give us more space, and swiveling the front seats allowed us to face each other and spend time with each other. * We loved the sound system. There was absolutely no road noise coming into the vehicle, and we were able to enjoy crystal clear sounds, which makes for much more road tripping driving experience. * The vehicle is incredibly insulated, and although it was chilly at night, we found that we didn't even have to turn the heater on. * There is a tent on the top of the vehicle, and it takes seconds to put up and dismantle. * There is a small hose attachment in the back that allowed us to rinse off in the evenings. * There are ample lighting options, both inside the vehicle and outside of the vehicle. We loved the memories we made on this trip- playing cards, making chili spaghetti and hot dogs for meals, star gazing, enjoying the sound system, and just unplugging and spending quality time with the family. altCamp gave our family a great experience and we can't wait to get back on the road again soon with one of their vehicles.
