This is the second time we have rented an RV from this company. After some disappointment from the last time we rented, I told my husband to go there a few days ahead of time MAKE SURE it would be ready for Monday morning pick up. He did this and was told everything would be ready to go on pick up day. Just like the last time we rented from them, IT WAS NOT READY! The batteries needed to be changed out and a few other things. So, here we are ready to get out of town and on our way to enjoying a vacation and we end up sitting there for almost 2 hours waiting for them to do what needed to be done! -- all while still paying for the whole days rental!! When we got to where we were going, we couldn't even use the canopy because it was ripping at the corner and we were afraid the wind would take it off. Mind you, we are in the desert and it is hot and shade is needed. So much for that! Prior to leaving with the trailer we asked for compensation for the first day since it was not ready when promised. We were told we would get a free day the next time we rented. There won't be a next time with them. I plan on disputing the charge! Just got back from a week-long RV roadtrip up the CA coast using a 22' 2020 Minnie Winnie from ShareMyCoach and it was a fantastic experience. Aside from the amazing places we visited, the RV was clean and in great condition. The staff was super friendly throughout the pickup process and responsive when on the road and needing some guidance regarding the hookups. The RV was stocked with enough kitchen supplies that, with few exceptions, we only needed to take our preferred cleaning supplies and food. I recently booked an RV Rental from a private owner (Not Share My Coach) through the Outdoorsy app. This was a planned trip to EDC Las Vegas that was booked 6 months in advance for me and my 7 friends. Everything was going according to plan with Outdoorsy until my booking was cancelled with only 1 week before my trip. I was left in a state of desperation. If it was not for Share My Coach, I would have lost over $1000 and missed out on a trip I had been planning for almost a year. Share my Coach was able to provide my group and I with a luxury Diesel pusher that accommodated all of our needs, when seemingly no other RV rental company could help us. We were able to secure this RV at the last moment for a fair price, all with excellent customer service and guidance from Share My Coach. As someone who is not experienced in RV travel, I felt right at home when greeted by Joe and his team at Share My Coach. They walked me through every step of the process and were able to easily explain how everything worked in the RV. They also provided personal phone numbers of employees who would assist me if I encountered any issues during my journey. I encountered a slight issue with the RVs AC unit, but I was able to easily resolve this issue after speaking with team member Jesus. The only advice I'd give anyone renting an RV is to take lots of photos of every part of the RV before leaving on your journey. Also, be sure to take note of any technical issues that may be present in the RV. Rental RVs are not brand new so there may be scratches or slight issues present in the RV. I encountered one issue where there was a bit of confusion regarding whether or not a scratch was present before I rented the RV. Thankfully I had a photo to show the scratch was already present. Share My Coach verified this and provided a full refund on my security deposit. 7Just got back from our 1st ever rv vacation like a lot of folks recently bc of covid, and in short, I would definitely rent from SMC again. To be a fair, honest review that'll be useful for renters, though, I will go over both the highlights & lowlights of the experience which will illustrate why this was a 4 star, above average, but not 5 star, stellar, experience. Moreover, perhaps SMC will take my review as constructive criticism which could help them garner more 5 star reviews if they truly want to improve and not just accept the status quo which would be easy to do right now as they are currently inundated w/ business. First off, the highlights: - Simple, quick rental experience. I was able to get the last available rv they had for my dates and needless to say it wasn't the biggest, newest, or prettiest coach to look at but it did its job and I'm not deducting the 1 star because of the rv itself. Initially I wanted a "5 star resort" rv but I ended up having to settle for the"motel 6"model. The initial rental paperwork, the pickup orientation, and dropoff inspection were quick and to the point - The pickup orientation and online videos were thorough and more than adequate to comfortably get me on the road. - They have a large selection of RVs of all lengths and types. If you are flexible with your dates you'll have many more options than I did. This was one of the things that drew me to renting from SMC rather than from one of the cookie cutter rv places like Cruise America with their tacky billboard RVs. -They offer easy 3rd party insurance coverage if your auto insurer doesn't offer free rider additions to your current policy as was the case with mine(geico). -They gave me some credit for the fact that I didn't utilize any of the included generator hours And now, the "lowlights"/constructive criticism: - While signing up for and paying for the 3rd party insurance literally only took at most 10 minutes over the phone when I finally got a hold of someone useful, it took me no less than 4 phone calls and an email in total to get this squared away! Each time I would give them a few days to see if they would follow through and each time I got nothing until the final call where a very helpful gentleman was able to get this taken care of over the phone. I understand they are super busy right now but it shouldn't take that much effort on my part to get this essential part of the rental taken care of. They could easily just post a link on their website pointing customers to the insurance company they want us to use if they do not want to hassle with this part of the process. - Given the current covid situation, I expect cleanliness to be of paramount importance and wow...the kitchen/bathroom floor was DISGUSTING. They charge a prep and cleaning fee which is all the more reason why my rental should have been clean throughout. Whether I'm renting a low end or a premium rv I expect the same level of cleanliness. In the process of wiping down my rv before I let my family enter it, I found the floor to be FILTHY. Clearly the floor had not been washed in a long time. NASTY. For cleaning equipment and labor to wash that less than 15square feet flooring, you could easily do it properly for 20 bucks and that's being generous...if they don't believe me, I'll come do that job for easy cash. - Realize that unlike renting a car, where little scratchers are ignored and dings smaller than a quarter are not penalized, this place WILL seek out, find, and charge $ for anything they can which honestly makes me hesitant to rent anything nicer than what I did in the future. Some tree branches along the road had rubbed up against the very rear of my rv while driving and caused some very superficial scratches which I only saw when pointed out during the return inspection. I understand that in theory, these RVs need to maintained in a certain condition to hold their rental appeal but like auto rental companies accept some level of wear and tear, so should businesses like SMC; it's part of the cost of this business and when you get tickytack like this it's a real turnoff...I'm sure SMC disagrees but this is just my opinion and an important FYI for those reading this review. To put things in context, it's not like I scratched up a new luxury coach...this was a 12+ year old, aged rv with outside rust spots, water stains, dings and scratches, and peeling components. See pics for examples. Had I known I got those superficial scratches I would have washed and buffed it myself before returning it rather than being charged $120. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend SMC. I doubt my lowlights aren't present from other similar services, and slim pickings with regard to current vacationing options mean maybe you just have to accept some things you normally wouldn't. read more

I can't say enough great things about our RV rental experience. It was our first time ever RV camping. The staff at Share my coach is spectacular. Very knowledgeable and patient. The variety of coaches and RVs is extensive. We were going to do a BIG coach but I was nervous so we decided on a Minnie Winnie . 26ft 1972 RV. Came with everything you need including pot and pans , utensils, toaster, coffee maker . The staff makes sure you know how to operate everything before you start your trip. Joe , the owner , even gave us his personal cell number if we couldn't reach anyone for assistance. We never had to use it ! We were able to bring our dogs with us on our trip and it was amazing. Sharemycoach we had alittle trouble with the security deposit and Joe Hill the owner gave me the info necessary so I can dispute with my friends bank. At first I thought they (sharemycoach) charged me but the owner got in touch with me and proceeded to give me the information necessary so I could dispute with the bank since the bank was pointing fingers but now that I got prove they didn't charge me I can proceed and argue it with the bank. Great business with them. They inspect the rv before u leave and take pictures of everything and if it was any trouble within the inspection they fix it before you leave. The female Filipino owner, "Gina H." messaged me shortly after the post went live to tell me that I wrote a "wrong review" and that "you didn't cancel on us! We cancel on you!" I had a good experience during my first time renting an RV. However, in terms of COVID safety, people inside put their masks on only when a customer walks in, and some take it off at their desks with only a tiny piece of plastic shield in front of them. It seems there is no regard for how air circulation works, and how COVID spreads through airborne particles. One employee was even wearing his mask below his nose the entire time when interacting with customers. Everything else was good, but I felt compelled to point this out in case there are others who feel like me and want to know they are safe. Finally, on my way out after returning the RV, I saw a new Trump flag (post-election) flying in front of the business. I really didn't want to know that my money went to support that. :( read more

We rented unit 1891 for Thanksgiving, I kinda was on the late freight in looking for a unit and the ones I wanted were already rented, so Edgar pulled up a couple with the features I was looking for and he found one for us and because I was on a certain price range he was able to work it out with us so we got one with the features I was looking for and for the price I was able to afford. We've been renting from them for years now and we tell anyone who is looking to go there. When ever there are any issues they go above and beyond to rectify any inconveniences and I have to mention one huge difference that sets them apart is I don't have to clean it or dump the poop tanks, that's a huge plus in my eyes. DON'T EVEN DARE! THEY GIVE YOU FAULTY RV'S THEN CHARGES YOUR INSURANCE. (I've rented from a lot of different places and most of them offer this american choice insurance, which is about $15 a day. Joe Hill didn't even offer this to us) I'm so mad! Supposedly, Joe Hill gave us a RV with brand new tires after 2 hours of driving it, the tire exploded into the drainage system. When we tried to get a hold of him, he didn't even care about our situation. So the whole weekend we didn't have water or anything. On top of that, he said we broke a light reflector and wanted to file a claim with our insurance for $8600. We got quotes from other RV repair shops for $100-200 bucks. TOTAL SCAM M-FER. read more

READ THIS AND ALL OTHER ONE STAR REVIEW, BEFORE YOU AGREE TO THEIR CONTRACT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! This place was recommended by a friend who only used their services once. I was very excited to rent an RV and selected a coach size. I paid for the RV way in advance and every time I would call with a question, I was told about a new fee. I wasn't happy about it but I went along. I paid everything in full and at time of pick up, I was yet told about a $2500 deposit. That was never mentioned to me, nor was it in my contract. One new thing after another. Very annoying. Fine, I gave them a copy of my credit card to have on file. In addition, I chose to purchase the insurance for the RV through them, which was $210 for 6 days. At time of pick up, one of the guys (can't recall his name) quickly reviewed the RV with us and tested the water and generator for no more than 10 seconds. Well, of course it worked. I specifically asked the guy, 5 TIMES, if the water tank is full as I didn't want to have any issues with brushing my teeth or take a shower. He assured me that they did. Once we left the parking lot and arrived our destination, we had nothing but problems with the RV. 1. I wanted to take a shower and the tank was empty. 2. I turned on the generator to make coffee and the alarm inside the RV kept going off. Something about fumes inside the RV. 3. Generator worked on and off. Didn't always work. 4. When the generator worked, the inside of the RV smelled like propane. And yes, the windows were closed. 5. I filled the water tank twice in the 3 days that I camped. I didn't even wash the dishes inside. Just took shower, to only discover that the water tank was leaking. I finally just had enough of the RV and cut my vacation short so I returned the RV one day early. I requested the one day refund and yet, 7 days later I have not heard from the owner of Share My Coach. Furthermore, when we drove to the mountain, the tree branches touched the RV so some marks were left on the RV, which came off when we wiped it. After 6 calls, I finally spoke with the owner (Joe) who told me that they want to investigate if the marks were there already there and then he will refund me the one day early return. I told him I already purchased insurance through them. However, his response was that there is a $2500 deductible to the insurance. WHAT?!?!?!? No one told me that when I paid for the insurance, nor again, did receive any papers on my contract stating that. I can go on and on about the service I received with them. VERY POOR AND THEY TALK TOO MUCH ABOUT WHAT CAN GO WRONG WITH THE RV INSTEAD OF ADMITTING THAT THE RV WE GOT WAS NOT THOROUGHLY INSPECTED, NOR CLEAN. Did I mention they charged me $75 for cleaning!!! When I picked up the RV, the guy stated that they didn't have enough time to clean the RV well because someone else had it before us. I should have gone to El Monte RV rental. I will NEVER use ShareMyCoach. Don't be fooled by their friendly personality. They are FULL OF IT!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE. This is just a little piece of my issues with them. My children hated the experience we had with this RV. Last, I've been calling and got the chance to speak with Joe, the owner, twice. Both times he said he'll call me back and that he will refund the one day, but I have not yet to receive a call back, nor a refund. I went to this place because a friend had a good experience. First of all, ShareMyCoach saved my butt! The rental place literally down the street (Best Time RV) wasn't going to let us take the RV that we had reserved and pre-paid for because we arrived 5 minutes outside of their 3-hour pickup window (out an entire day? Yes, I know, weird AF.) "Furious" doesn't describe how I felt after the rude and dismissive employees I had to deal with at Best Time RV (FYI, they told me to get a hotel room near by and come back the next day b/c it was 5 pm and they were closed now). The difference in customer service between ShareMyCoach and Best Time RV was NIGHT AND DAY. The ShareMyCoach reps and owner were AMAZING! Friendly, helpful and gave me a great deal so that I could drive a coach off the lot that night after walking in right before they closed. Please don't do that to them (e.g., walking in right when the close) but wow, talk about STELLAR customer service! I give especially high props to Edgar and Jose, both super, super great. The experience from checking out to checking back in 2 weeks later was really wonderful. I had never rented an RV before and they were patient, kind and just all around genuinely nice people. You know. You wish certain type of business to do well. What a great business idea. Sharing other owned RV's and renting them out to others. You want to see the business succeed! And give a certain leeway. But when you have ownership that is haughty, unprofessional, and just plain rude, what can you do?!? However when the owner did greet us after a little wait, she said to just go out into the lot, you'll find the #s on the RV that correlate with the website. So, When they're not in any sort of numerical order. It's frustrating when you're walking in 90 degree weather. Their lot is huge and their numbers ended up being inside the coach on a peice of paper. So you can't quickly surmise which is the coach is which. But no problem, my daughter and toke on the challenge to find the right RV. After spending 45 mins looking on our own at RV'S we were finally helped. A Young gentleman named Rodolfo helped and started the process of choosing the RV to rent. After gathering the information needed we went home to plan our trip and select the right RV for our family First RV Trip! Our kids we excited! We started reseaching and making call to booked RV sites. It was tough since it was last minute, but got the job done. After communicating with Rofolfo. I went in and booked the RV for the trip. However, a few days later a change of plans and needed a smaller RV instead. Went in, unfortunately he wasn't working. We waited around for someone to help. There were 3 ppl, one gentleman did greet us & said he'll help once he finishes up his customer. But the other 2 sitting behind their desk never acknowledged us. But after 20 mins we decided to go to one of the other employees, which happened ro be the owner that told us to look around the lot in our initial visit. We took our first RV trip with our friends for Easter break. We had coach 1649, the 35 ft. Alegro. "Roughing it smoothly" emblem on the back. I found out about Sharemycoach.com from one of my buddies at work who's used them at least a half a dozen times. He recommended them, so we booked our Yosemite campsite in North Pines, which was very unlikely that we'd get it, but we did anyway, which was amazing! And we got another spot for our friends and decided to do the trip. They also rented from Sharemycoach.com, and had the 34 ft. Simba diesel pusher. I have to say, the entire process went better than I had expected, and despite s few glitches on the rig we had, which was resolved, the entire experience was phenomenal. My wife's been nagging me for years to buy an RV, and I've said no, so I figured we'd take a 1 week trip and see how it goes. It was the best vacation she's ever had, and the kids loved it. Such an awesome time. Joe was my contact, until Edgar came in to complete my paperwork. When we were on the road, and had cell coverage, someone was always available to answer my questions. It was a white knuckle experience driving this HUGE behemoth. LOL. But, by the end of our trip, I was driving this thing like it was nothing. Joe, Edgar, Shane, Mark, and the entire staff are not just doing this as a job. This is their passion and it shows, and when you deal with people who love what they do, your experience is going to be much better. Our rig had a few issues, but it's expected, and the tools they provided along with the service number to call made it work out. They were even going to call someone to come to us in Fresno, when the stairs on our rig wouldn't retract. But Shane walked me through the disassembly of the motor, and putting it back, and that fixed the problem. Sure I had to get under the rig to do it, but it's all part of the experience and one of the most memorable times we will ever have. The pick up process was seamless, and thorough. It's a lot to take in, but we spent a nice 45mins to an hour covering all the different features, emergency items, etc., and I felt comfortable that would help when we arrived at our home to load the RV, and at the campsite. And it did. The return process was just as seamless too. I pointed out the issues we had, it was noted so it could be addressed for the next occupants. The team went through and checked everything out and gave us the all clear. We were over in miles, not by much, and I wasn't charged for it. Which was a nice thing to do on their part. And, Joe and Edgar were there when we did our drop off. I haven't compared them to anyone else, and I'm sure if I do, I'd end up using Sharemycoach.com because of the entire process from start to finish. One thing I really appreciate is that Joe (the owner) videotapes the rentals so you can see them online. Then you can narrow down your choice and go see the coach in person before you rent it. I have used Share My Coach 7 times in the past two years. They are great communicators and always strive to get you the best price. We just spent 10 nights in a 23' Salem Cruise Lite and had a blast. The RVs here are well maintained and everything was fully functioning. About a week from my initial date, there was a problem with the owner of the RV I was supposed to get (he decided to sell). Big shout out to Edgar, Rudolph and Jose for getting me into an identical coach on extremely short notice (this saved our trip). Excellent customer service. If you are a newbie to RVs, I highly recommend renting a couple different models before committing to purchase one brand new. I have rented 4 different model travel trailers and now I know exactly which one I now want to purchase. You can rent first to be sure before you put down $25k or more for a new one. It's a smart financial decision people. You will be walked through the unit before departure to make sure you are comfortable with using the unit. Great place to rent a RV. Customer service oriented and helped us out a lot. Never used a RV before. Was glade we came here.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. Clearly explained everything, the rental process, insurance coverage and how the RV worked. Rental process was quick, we filled out the forms and were told how to add the rental to our insurance. The pickup process was slow, didn't have enough staff and waited around a lot. We were told that the pickup process would be about 20 minuets. I was disappointed that the process took more like 2 hours. Delaying our scheduled departure, we were on a tight schedule due to road closures in our route to our destination. We literally made it 10 minutes before the road closed, after we had to rush our drive. If we hadn't made it we would have been stranded on the road all night in the forest. The orientation was very detailed. I'm not sure how the pickup process can take 20 minutes. The drop off was easy and quick. I appreciate that they refunded me for a replacing a part that had broken during our trip. I would definitely recommend this place for renting an RV. What I liked the most is that the price is final except for additional miles charged. I've been quoted at other rental places and they seem to have several additional charges added to your bill that add up quickly and make it a little more complicated. If their promise of completing the orientation before the rental or 20 min pickup time was factual it would have been a 5 star. The delay was very disconcerting since we were traveling in a large group that was waiting around getting anxious. read more

The RV was great but when upon renting the vehicle we were rushed to do a quick inspection as if nothing was wrong. Well low and behold when returning the RV we had someone else check us in and they marked every little ding and very minor scratches that were there before renting it. So if your going to rent from here, don't let them rush you when you are inspecting the vehicle, take your own pictures up close of every little scratch even if this mean it will take you and hour because they will question it when you return it. I rented the RV to go to the lake now mind you there is nothing for you to hit the top of the RV with since the lake has no infrastructure but lots of curbs and open area. Moral of the story is to have the same person who checked you out check you back in and take your time in inspecting the vehicle. This is worse than a rental car. At least the rental car places don't give a rats for the small dings unless it's a size of a tennis ball or golf ball. I won't ever rent here again! read more

We have used ShareMyCoach to obtain an RV for our family vacations for 3 of the past 5 years. Each time we were able to rent an RV that was perfect in size and layout for our needs. The rental process has been simple and straightforward. The RV's have all been in good condition with all systems working. That's not to say every little thing was perfect though! RV's are complicated machines. You need to understand how to operate and maintain those systems so they will continue to work well for you. We are experienced with that and have never had any serious problems with the systems on any RV we've rented from ShareMyCoach. Amazing!!! Edgar is the best. We are trying out several RVs to see which we would eventually purchase in a year or 2. We rented an awesome 28' RV and everything was so smooth. From drop off to pickup it was flawless. There was everything inside you would need and very comfy bed and AMAZING storage. It was fairly easy and the perfect size to get around all the different state campgrounds. We rented it for 10 days and had the best family vacay EVER!!! The owner, Joe really has an awesome company and Edgar made our experience that much better. Next we will be renting a diesel and we cannot wait. read more
