I needed free-backing drum brakes installed on my boat trailer, along with all the wiring. My trailer originally didn't have brakes, and I thought it would be a simple project--but I was completely wrong. I found this company on Google, gave them a call, and just three days later they came out to do the installation. My first impression was excellent. They were friendly, professional, and even cracked a few jokes while explaining exactly what they were going to do and how long the job would take. Their work truck was clean, they were well-organized, and all three technicians were professional and respectful. I left them working in my garage while I went to work, and when I came home a few hours later, everything was finished. The installation was outstanding. My garage was spotless, the brake system looked professionally installed, and all the wiring was neatly hidden inside the trailer frame instead of hanging underneath. The attention to detail really stood out. I've already put a few hundred miles on the trailer and launched my boat several times, and everything has worked flawlessly. I am very disappointed because when Alberto and I spoke earlier in the year I advised him of the purchase I would be making and the repair it needed and was assured that his mechanics would do a great job as I was confident in their integrity and their work ethic. Noone has returned any of my calls the mechanic stopped answering refusing to return my vehicle and I've been disrespected and disregarded now I am forced to take legal action against you. I left a review on their google business page a month ago someone hearted the message but never responded as the owner often replies to reviews left. The business number is still the same goes to vm and has been since 12/2025. Sent a demand letter with a packet of proof that this busienss was in possession of my vehicle that was returned at this point a lawsuit is the only move to make. God will work it out for me. It's pretty disgusting.

Within 45 minutes of contacting him he showed up to where my car was in Anaheim and did all 4 of my brakes for literally an eighth (yes, really an eighth) of what other places would charge. My car was completely disabled and the brakes were grinding metal to metal and in less than 1 hour I was up and running again! I figured I'd have to pay more for the convenience of having him come to me and for the speedy service but it was the opposite. What a pleasant surprise! I will never use another mechanic again.

Nick showed up three hours after he said he would, and didn't bother to call.. also didn't answer when I tried calling him, luckily I hadn't left work yet because he finally just randomly shows up. Takes a look and says I need a control arm and end links for the front seat bar. He goes and orders them and says he would be back the next day... he never showed up and wouldn't answer his phone. He finally shows up the next day(again just randomly showed up). Thankfully once again I was still there at work... he showed up in a pickup truck that was his personal vehicle because "his work rig was in the shop". Ok no big deal.... he does the work and I ask to test drive it before he left. The steering was really loose and unresponsive. Also there was a clunking sound. He said he had to go and would be back to work on it again. Next day driving it back to work to meet nick as he requested, steering was really sloppy and unsafe. Nick never showed and never answered my calls. I took it to another shop and had them look at it. He forgot to replace a couple bolts and put the wrong control arm in. After a few days, I finally got ahold of him and told him and he swore up and down he would never forget to put parts back. And that he got the correct control arm. He said he would be back to check his work and never showed. I was never able to get ahold of him again Fast forward a good few months and the car is in the shop having the front control arm replaced along with the front sway bar and the end links he forgot to replace yet charged me for. So now I am down $400 for the wrong part and missing end links that he never installed and another 500 for parts and labor for the new auto shop to do the work correctly. I really wanted to like this company as I love the idea and convenience of the idea, and nick really was a nice guy, but man I really got screwed by these guys... I'm really tempted to look into what I can do legally at this point. I hope this review helps anyone else that is looking at going through this company. Also, before I'm told the same as the others about contacting drivers directly, the number was the one listed here on yelp and have documentation to prove so.

With hesitation I am writing this review that it may be me more time to get an appointment but this guy is the most honest mechanic that I have run into. And we are lucky to have him here in HB. I further attempted to explain I had power of attorney and a letter from our legal department validating said authority. The manager said no. I will not name him since I feel this is a broad issue with the company. The manager was very rude he did not even ask to see the documentation I discussed. I was already heading to the yard and I was planning on arriving before LA traffic started to get bad. Had to reroute and find another yard that understood business 101. Luckily found one by end of day, but would not be able to store until documentation was reviewed. Rental was approved early the next morning. Unfortunately I had to drive an additional 60 miles from where I was and could not avoid traffic. Lost several hours and an additional day since I had to rebook. I do not recommend this business at all. Common sense, knowledge and respect our not available at this business.

My main concern was whether he could match the factory-style orange peel texture. He told me he could and initially quoted me $500. I specifically explained that I would inspect the work closely and expected a high-quality finish without paint runs, pinholes, visible defects, or other flaws. He then increased the price to $650, saying that level of finish would cost more. I agreed because I wanted the job done correctly. I was originally told the car would be ready in one or two days. When I went to pick it up, there were two very noticeable paint runs behind the license plate. When I pointed them out, he said he assumed they would not be visible under the plate, even though they were clearly noticeable. He kept the car for several more days to sand and correct the issue. At one point, he said he had sanded too much and needed to keep it longer. In total, my car was there for approximately one week. The orange peel texture was also not matched. When I asked why, he told me it could not be matched because the area had been painted and sanded several times. This was frustrating because matching the orange peel was one of my main requirements, and he had originally assured me that he could do it. The area around the four license plate mounting screws was also badly damaged, with paint peeling away around the holes. He blamed the hot weather, but the license plate had been removed and reinstalled several times previously in both hot and cold weather without this ever happening. Although the paint eventually looked acceptable from a distance, it still had multiple visible flaws, including small holes, dust-related imperfections, and other defects in the finish. When I asked him to correct them, he said the paint needed time to cure and promised to come to my home afterward because the bumper is removable. After waiting approximately two weeks for the paint to cure, I contacted him to arrange the correction. He saw my message but did not respond. I contacted him again and still received no response. I paid $650 for a finish that was specifically supposed to be high quality and free of flaws. Instead, the job took several attempts just to reach an average result, the orange peel was never matched, the license plate mounting area was damaged, visible paint defects remain, and I am now being ignored. Unfortunately, I am very dissatisfied with both the quality of the work and the lack of follow-up.

He did warn me that it could be a little wait due to high volume of clients. I ended up going with a muffler delete and replaced my suspension with coil overs. Yen took care of the muffler delete and Lee and two other very helpful gentlemen took care of my coil overs. I have to say I am very satisfied with the quality of work for the value. They quoted me way under anyone else that I had called prior to going with them. I will recommend A-1 Muffler Express to all of my friends and family. They all make you feel that you're part of the family. They offered me coffee and cold water while I waited for my car to be done. One thing to remember, they are experts in mufflers, exhaust systems, and not any other type of work. But it never hurts to ask if they can do it for you!

Scheduling was easy, and I was able to get an appointment the following Saturday morning. I dropped off my car and took a walk to a nearby café to have breakfast while they worked on it. They also have a nice air-conditioned waiting room if you prefer to wait on-site. I returned about 90 minutes later, and waited while they finished up. I take great care of the car, but every time they're done with it, it looks better than day one off the dealer floor. Steve informed me that the PPF and ceramic coating was in great shape. He also educated me that the ceramic coating on the hood wears faster than the rest of the car. They re-coated the hood for no extra charge. What service! Again, I left Elevance very happy with my initial choice to have them apply everything and returning annually for their customer only inspection and detail service. Steve and his staff are extremely professional and friendly. If you need PPF, wrapping, ceramic coating, or window tint, check out my previous reviews and go with Elevance!

However, the more I continue to see all the errors and defects on my vehicle the more dissatisfied I feel about the results. There are multiple areas crinkling and bunched up, even right after my wrap and more so now down the line. I've added some photos for reference but there are waaaay more I'm not posting that I'd like to count. My biggest issue that has been on my mind to this day is that my cars mileage increased 30 miles from when I initially dropped it off. I brought this issue up to Steve and he explained it's because they did my wheels, the body work, and test drove it but thirty miles is excessive in my opinion. One of his workers I feel definitely took my car for a joy ride and perhaps Steve is covering for them. The mileage doesn't bother me, it's the negligence, irresponsibility, and disrespect for my property of whoever drove my car. Again, Steve has been responsive since day one but his staff (who worked on my vehicle) on the other hand fell very short of the quality and expectations his shop seems to give out through their platforms. I feel like I was one in the hundreds of people who had a really bad job done. No one is perfect and I'm just that one mistake of a customer, unfortunately. All in all, zero stars for the wrap job and 3 stars for Steve's efforts and customer service and 4 stars for the body work and wheels. However, I would recommend to keep an eye on your odometer when you drop it off since it seems like his employees might have an inclination to have some fun when no one is looking or when the "test drive" is being done. I have a camera in my vehicle but when I checked it someone disconnected it almost immediately after dropping it off according to the time stamps. Little sus to me. Thank you, Steve for your kindness and doing your best to resolve each issues you may not have had your hands on directly but if I could truly resolve my dissatisfaction (especially for the money I paid) I'd prefer to redo my wrap in all the area it was defective.

They were able to help diagnose my problems. They found a few other things that I was not aware of what is most important to me is that they showed me exactly what was going on they explained it to me in a way that I could understand and we're extremely friendly. These guys are Masters at the craft. They helped me prioritize what was most important but also worked with me to stay in my budget. I have a list of future work that they also helped me prioritize. I want to keep my 7.3 diesel on the road for a long time this is the place to get it done. I'll be returning there pretty soon to rebuild my front end and a few other things that needed to get done. Dan is very helpful and patient so please be patient with him. Allow yourself some extra time but trust me this is the place you want to go with your Ford diesel. I hang out with a few other guys that also have 7.3 diesel engines. This is gonna be our spot. I think even more importantly is that each thing that was explained helped me leave with a better working knowledge of my engine. They even gave me very solid maintenance advice that I could either bring to them or do you want my own. If there was 10 STARS I WOULD GIVE THEM 10 STARS. I went into American Camper Shell to get info on different products and i can truly say they where very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I wanted to buy from a brick and motor business and have them install so i would have a place to go if i needed warranty work done. Well this is were they earned 10 stars. I was having excessive wind noise coming from my top so i went down there and my original sales rep Kyle stop what he was doing and took a look at top. He located where the noise was coming from and notice somebody tried to pry open the shell. Kyle had one of his installers come over and they where able to fix wind noise with new weatherstrip and charge me 60 dollars. I was shocked it was only 60 dollars since i was on my iphone when they where installing and could not find the weatherstrip under 95 dollars and thats not even counting labor. I have referred 3 customers in the last 2 months and everyone thanked me for the referral. Thanks again you guys earned it. read more

After I expressed my frustration and with their service they agreed to fix it at my expense. I love their parts but their installation service/customer service is some of the worst I've experienced. Flat out scary that they make racing trucks.
