This is a LONG overdue review of DV Trailer employees: Jody, Colton, & Sergio. Late in August, I found myself driving a few miles away from home when my car starting to act funny. I turned into the closest side street. My car shut off completely and would not restart. I had been on the phone with my husband, who has our insurance information but... his phone had just died. He was also driving, and he did not have a charger. I looked around: I was in some sort of industrial area of Stanton. I had no cash on me. I had no one to call. There was no way I was going to push my Jeep by myself. I suddenly became very aware that I was a woman, by myself, dressed in scrubs, in some sort of backstreet/alley of Stanton. I tried to start my car to no avail. Thats when I noticed three guys were closing the gate to DV Trailers. (gulp) JODY & COLTON, & SERGIO walked over and asked if I needed help. They had heard me trying to start my engine. Very politely, they asked if they could help me. They were so kind, so courteous, so professional, and so sensitive to my situation. They made me feel comfortable and safe and they went above and beyond anything they had to do for me (a total stranger, after their workshift had ended) to diagnose the issue (I had ran out of gas... AH!). They hurried to get me a little bit of gas so I could drive to the nearest gas station. THANK YOU JESUS! It was Friday, like 5pm. I imagine they were eager to get on with the weekend. They could have easily walked past me, gotten in their cars, and drove home. Instead, these guys came to my rescue like 3 guardian angels sent from above. I asked how I could repay them, and you know what they said? "Pay it forward" (I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying!) When I am rating a place of business, to me, service is EVERYTHING. These guys represented the courtesy, professionalism, and attentiveness that any employer would be proud of. If they are any reflection of the company they work for, DV Trailers must be amazing. My Husband was told he would have a part for his trailer after 2 -4 weeks. He had to call them constantly. 6 weeks later. They tell him to come in the following day. He did and they almost turned him away. Staff and owner were lacking customer service. He didn't even to want to talk to him or help with other services. I think the is definitely overwhelmed. Lots of people hate their job - I get that. The staff here wants to make sure you know, though. I walked in first thing in the morning with full intentions of leaving with a trailer that day and asked one of the ladies in the office if she could show me the different models and help me compare and figure out what fit my needs best. She walked me outside to the trailers, handed me a brochure, and told me she'd be in her office if I needed her. After wandering around trying to match up what I was seeing in person to the different models in the brochure, a helpful guy from the trailer fabrication area walked up and answered some questions for me. He pointed me in the right direction and I did end up buying a trailer. If it wasn't for him, I likely would not have bought anything. He walked me back into the office and the lady who initially walked me outside wrote everything up to complete the purchase. Now, about a year later, I brought the trailer back to have some options added. They did complete the work in the timeframe that they promised so I was pleased with that. My only complaint is that the phone call I received when the trailer was ready was a little less than pleasant. The lady on the other end of the line made it sound like it was a hassle to call me and let me know it was ready. As a side note, they didn't entertain the idea of negotiating the purchase price of the trailer. I started off by asking if they'd throw the spare tire in for free and was told it wasn't possible. By the end of this negotiation (or lack of) I think I was asking for $25 off the purchase price just to leave with a sliver of my dignity. Didn't happen. Response to Dennis V's comment: Thank you for responding to my review and clarifying the available discount. However, I think you have me mixed up with another customer. I picked the trailer up an hour after I received the phone call that it was ready since I needed it the next day. Furthermore, I did not mention anything about your service rates. Maybe instead of trying to find a fault with your customer, you should focus more on working with your sales team to make the purchase process more enjoyable. My review was focused on the less-than-pleasant customer service I received at your establishment and I see that you refrained from addressing this in your response. Good customer service is what turns a one time customer into a repeat customer - just a tip. read more

This company went out of the way to accommodate our needs. We needed a trailer right away although the specifications we needed was not available. They loaned us a trailer until our trip was over and then picked up our trailer when it was completed. Oh, no charge fo the trailer we borrowed either. Everyone was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The afternoon I left to pick up our new trailer I was running late. The girls in the front office waited for me to arrive after hours as well. Their trailers are well built and priced right. They added extras to the trailers with no questions that fit my needs for what I was going to use it for. You have lovely Angela who can tell you everything you need to know about the trailers.
