We have used ShareMyCoach to obtain an RV for our family vacations for 3 of the past 5 years. Each time we were able to rent an RV that was perfect in size and layout for our needs. The rental process has been simple and straightforward. The RV's have all been in good condition with all systems working. That's not to say every little thing was perfect though! RV's are complicated machines. You need to understand how to operate and maintain those systems so they will continue to work well for you. We are experienced with that and have never had any serious problems with the systems on any RV we've rented from ShareMyCoach. Amazing!!! Edgar is the best. We are trying out several RVs to see which we would eventually purchase in a year or 2. We rented an awesome 28' RV and everything was so smooth. From drop off to pickup it was flawless. There was everything inside you would need and very comfy bed and AMAZING storage. It was fairly easy and the perfect size to get around all the different state campgrounds. We rented it for 10 days and had the best family vacay EVER!!! We rented a trailer from Share my Coach that they delivered to our home and we stayed in it while we tented our home for termites. We had rain and had the awning out. The rain stayed on the awning and ripped the side of the awning. We told them what happened when they picked it up, They charged my card for $2,000.00 for replacement of awning...btw they never informed me. I just saw it on my credit card. When we called to find out why so much they said they would find out and call us back. No calls back....So I decided to get my credit card company involved. And because of the contract they have you initial they can charge you whatever they want for replacement even though the awning and stitching was clearly worn by many previous rentals. An awning should not tear because of rain...thats what they are for. Never will I use this company again! read more

Everyone at SMC, was incredibly helpful, responsive, and polite. Our rented coach had some issues getting out of the gate and the team worked quickly to get everything fixed before we left for the road trip. When we had a few problems on the road, the team got on the phone to walk us through some potential fixes and then helped us locate a mobile RV tech to get repairs completed. Check out was smooth (including reductions to our bill covered by the "vacation policy"). We were so exhausted that we left some items behind in the coach. When we emailed to ask about the items, they placed them in their offices so we could swing by and pick everything up. I would've loved to give them five stars. And honestly, I would give 3.5 but I was generous and round it up Booking the reservation was easy, I negotiated with the person working there and was able to get a discount. I originally agreed upon one trailer, and the week before going to get it, I was advised that the owner sold it and it was no longer available but they were going to give me something comparable at the same price I got to the location in the trailer that they were giving me was much older than the one I thought, and had mechanical issues preventing it from being used. They gave me a replacement, even older. But this one seemed to work better in terms of the layout and design. We drove about 20 miles and realize the fridge was not getting cold at all, and they advised to give it a couple hours before it got cold. It never did. Upon stopping in 20 minutes into the drive to get ice after determining the fridge was not working, we had a tire blow while sitting in a parking lot. After several calls at 9:30 PM, the customer service was outstanding. They were answering the phones, working on solutions, and assured me that they would have a replacement available the following morning and would bring it to us So fortunately, I got to spend the night in a Walmart parking lot. Sarcasm. But the following morning they arrived with a late model replacement which was nice. It worked very well, and it was a pleasant experience after the point. Overall, make sure you check and doublecheck what you're getting, and be prepared to have other options should years not work. It was nice that they had replacements available on a busy weekend. They reimbursed for the space that I lost by being stranded Of the other options around, this seems like it was the best and the fact that they stand behind what they rent, is a good thing. I rented a class C motorhome for my family vacation. When I arrived at ShareMyCoach and got a tour of my unit I noticed that some of the specifications would not work with the location we were going. This was my oversight, however the team at share my coach did an amazing job to help me solve the problem, find another RV that would match the price, and it was a class A. The team on site rushed around to get the new coach ready for my rental, and worked very hard to make sure my experience and vacation were perfect. We had such a great experience with Sharemycoach. I highly recommend them for renting an RV. We rented for 2 weeks in July with a road trip through over 2500 miles. I'll chime in with a lot of the other reviews that everyone there is so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Every person I came into contact with at this company was so friendly and helpful and was invested in ensuring I had a great experience. I stopped by to look at a few of the coaches that were available, and Emily took the time to show me through the coaches on the lot.  She never rushed me even though they were busy. Her knowledge was key to helping me decide on which unit to rent. I came back a few days later to rent the unit I chose but during checkout, there were some issues with our RV. The owner, Joe quickly got involved in trying to get repairs made. They determined after inspecting it that it could not be rented that day. I was beginning to panic, given the amount of work I had put in to planning this trip. Luckily, there was another RV available, and they were willing to upgrade me to another beautiful luxury coach. This is one of the advantages of renting through them versus renting from a private owner. Another great thing about our experience was that Jesus was available anytime I had questions about the RV. He always responded promptly and patiently guided me through each issue. It really gave us a sense of security knowing he was always available, and it helped that he really knew the coach inside and out. Again, it was such a positive experience but their real strength is being able to pivot and take care of problems at any point in the rental process that makes them stand out. read more

We rented a RV to go to see the eclipse with my son and 3 of my grandchildren. The staff were very helpful when we signed up to rent the RV, explaining they only had one left for the time we needed it. Luckily the one available suited us fine. The pick up was very easy and everything was explained throughly to us. We were first time users of an RV. The return was very quick and easy. Do not deal with the owner at this location. She is a piece of work and I'm shocked she is even in the retail/customer service business. My family had rented a RV through this company. There was a change in the number of people going on the trip, so we decided to downgrade to a smaller vehicle. The original sales clerk we worked with was friendly and helpful during our original transaction. However, when we went back in to make changes, the owner, this older Filipino lady ended up helping with us. I don't know if this woman woke up on the wrong side of bed that day, but she was a total bitch and had absolutely no knowledge of what customer service is about. She was rude, threw papers down in front of us and basically threw a tantrum because we were quoted a lower price originally by one of her sales clerks than she was comfortable with. We ended up cancelling our rental due to her absolute lack of manners, her poor customer service skills, and shady business practices. Our family and friends will never do business with this location ever again because of this shitty owner. The other sales rep there ended up apologizing for her and told us we can go to another location since they are all privately owned. But be aware, this owner will try to screw you over. read more

We've rented about 6 coaches from Share My Coach and we've had the best service from them. Whenever anything goes wrong we've always been able to get in touch with Joe and/or his crew and they've given us a solution. We were new to renting/driving RV's and have three kids so we wanted to have a strong service and support from our rental place for anything that we might need or if a problem arose. We've even returned coaches with problems that occurred at our hands and Joe was fair and reasonable about handling them. He's always returned our deposit and taken appropriate responsibility for issues that were under his company's jurisdiction. I actually choose to spend our money for vacations with Share My Coach because I know how they handle their coaches, clean their coaches and I trust them with our vacation time and dollars. I know that they will always take care of us in a way that serves our family best. Cleanliness is important to me/us as well and the coaches are immaculate which feels like a level of care that is above and beyond what the average RV rental place is willing to perform. I have been extremely happy with Share My Coach and will continue to refer them to friends and family as well as rent from them until the day we own our own RV. Once that day comes I would consider to use them for the care and rental of our own RV! read more

Taking our money and getting us on the road was the only thing ShareMyCoach was good at. After leaving Huntington Beach, just one hour on the road, the AC started acting up. It would turn on when the RV slowed down and shut off when the RV started moving. We tried using the Generator but it was completely useless while traveling. It was close to a hundred degrees outside and 95degrees inside. We and our granddaughters were hot and miserable.. Just to keep the company informed, we called to let them know what was going on. They said they would have a technician call us back, but they never did. When we arrived in Idaho, we realized there was a LARGE bubble on the outside of one of the front tires. It was a Sunday and we were lucky to find an open store willing to change the tire for us. Again, we called the company to let them know what was going on. Again, they said they would have a technician call us back. ONE HOUR after leaving Boise, Idaho we heard a POW from the rear end of the RV. Yep, a rear tire on the passenger side, shredded. Thankfully, we were able to find a Walmart that carried that same size tire and someone available to change it for us. This day alone, we spent 6 hours at 2 different repair shops in 100 degree temperatures. Again, we called the company to let them know what was going on. Again, they said they would have a technician call us back and of course, they never did. . We planned this trip all year long and were looking forward to spending a week on the road with our granddaughters. Unfortunately, it tuned out to be nothing but hot and miserable and we couldn't put my granddaughters through this any longer so we cut our trip short and came home 2 days early . Never once, in 6 days, did we receive a call back from a ShareMy Coach technician. When we retuned the RV, we reminded them of all our issues. They gave us nothing but excuses. They promised to have their manager/ director call us to discuss discounts and compensation for the inconvenience and suffering. Well, surprise surprise, they never did. I called Sharemycoach several times a day for the past 5 days since returning the RV trying to finalize things and never was I able to speak to the decision maker "Joe". Finally, today on Sunday, I called them again and was told Joe was too busy to talk to me. I said to the woman on the phone that I was tired of being ignored and hearing excuses. She said that they weren't excuses and then she hung up on me. So I decided to drive to Sharemycoach office in person, on my Sunday off. Upon arriving I was greeted by a woman who asked how she could help me. I told her who I was and asked her if she was the one who hung up on me. She said that her phone system doesn't work well and stormed away. I found Joe the manager on the lot and introduced myself. He knew what the situation was about and proceeded to tell me that he was busy and was not able to take the time to help me. He also said that it could take 2 more weeks or more until they would have a chance to examine the RV and consider any refunds. Needless to say that I left Sharemycoach very disappointed and don't have a lot of faith in ever getting a reasonable refund. Or possibly even a call back. In closing, obviously I would never recommend anybody renting from or doing any business with Sharemycoach.com. Once they get your money, you are pretty much on your own. read more

I recently rented a 32' Bounder from Share My Coach for myself, a friend from down under, and our 4 teenaged girls. The coach was immaculate, comfortable, well equipped and roomy for all 6 of us. I got a lot of stares from women out there who wouldn't dare to drive such a rig themselves, but several of them gave me the thumbs up for handling it (apparently) so well. Joe, the owner, spent a good deal of time going over everything with me beforehand, so I felt very prepared. Thankfully, we had nothing but great stories to bring back from our vacation. I highly recommend Share My Coach to anyone who is looking for a nice getaway in a clean, modern, low mileage RV with all the bells and whistles - not some rundown rental with advertising pasted all over them. My only advice is that you nail down the one you want in writing (our's was double-booked so I accepted a different coach), and check with your insurance carrier as to coverage. Mine didn't cover me because I didn't own the coach, so I had to buy a supplemental plan that was close to $400 on top of everything else - something I hadn't budgeted for. read more

This was a horrible experience from the day we went to pick up our RV to the day we returned it. We had to wait 2 hours to finally get someone to dispatch our RV so we drove off the lot 4 hours after we arrived to pick it up. We drove down the street and the check engine light came on so we had to go back and wait for them to "fix it" for another 4 hours. Our camping reservation that night was in Arizona so we had to drive all night long to get there and in the middle of the drive the dash AC stopped working and the check engine light came on again. We called SharemyCoach and left a message to let them know. No one called us back our entire trip (10 days). So we had to deal with no dash AC with temps in the 100's! Then on our last day we were driving home from Las Vegas at 4 am to avoid the desert heat and our front tire blew out. We had to wait hours to get someone to fix it with no help from Share my coach because they don't have an emergency phone number. The tow truck driver that put the spare tire on said the one that blew out was so worn it was unsafe to drive on. So Share my coach sent my family and I out for 10 days with no dash AC and unsafe tires. I would never rent from them again! read more

This was my second year renting from here for Stagecoach. Let me start off by saying the staff is always helpful when you have a question. However, that is when you can find a staff member to help you. Upon arriving the morning for pick up, it was immediate they were not prepared for the busy day that lay ahead. I arrived second, (yes 2nd) out of all the people renting for stagecoach. My friend and I waiting patiently after checking in for over an hour to get our rental. Being it stagecoach weekend, it understand they were going to be busy, however when people who arrive after you are taken before you, that is a bit frustrating. After finally getting our coach, and on our way to Indio' we discovered the black tank was almost 2/3 full. It had not been emptied prior to our departure. Now shame on us for not checking during inspection, but we aren't familiar with the operation of the RV. The young man who was checking out the RV should have gone through all the intricate systems with me. Again, live and learn. Lastly, and the most shady part of all this, is we had transported bikes on the back of our RV. After arriving to deliver the RV back, they were some new scratches on the rear of the RV. And when I say scratches I mean superficial scratches that could be buffed out in 20 minutes with a buffing wheel and some good rubbing compound. Randolph had told me they would charge my credit card for the damage deposit, get an estimate, and then inform me of the total of damages. Holy smokes! $720.00 for scratches! I understand they are in business to make money, however how about sending an estimate from an accredited body shop laying out labor costs, materials etc... A phone call from "Randolph" telling me what the damage is seems very unprofessional. Renter beware... They are out to GOUGE you and have lost this customer for life. read more

I had a horrible experience here. I rented an RV for Stagecoach. I booked it about 4 months in advance. Two weeks before my event they called to tell me my RV had mechanical problems so they would upgrade me to a better RV at no cost. Great! When we went to pick up our upgraded RV it also having mechanical problems so they needed to fix it. We waited an hour and a half and finally they "said" it was fixed. Long story short, the generator didn't work so we had no power in the RV. All our food went bad. I understand this can happen. However, when we called they to try and troubleshoot the problem they yelled at us like it was our fault. We made the best of the trip and still had a great time. When we brought the RV back I asked for some sort of refund. The owner, a real asshole, yelled at me again. I ended up getting a small refund. Bottom line this place is unreliable and the owner is an unhappy jerk. Go to Cruise America. Less expensive and WAY better customer service read more

We went for a one week RV vacation in April 2015. I checked out the national big name RV rental company and wasn't impressed so dropped by the ShareMyCoach location. Everyone was really nice. They let our entire family tour through a few different options and were very patient and explained everything to us. The price for what you get here cannot be beat by anyone. We booked a 31 foot RV. The pickup process was very smooth. These guys are pros and know what they are doing. They walked us through how to use everything on the RV, answered all our questions and we were off. We had a really great trip up to Arizona, Sedona, and the Grand Canyon. Cannot recommend ShareMyCoach highly enough! Will definitely be back. read more

Rented #1725 The Greyhawk for a 10 day trip through Utah. It was my first time renting or driving an RV for that matter. Rodolfo(Rudy) helped us from start to finish and his service was amazing. He took all the time I needed to answer questions, as stupid as they may have been he remained patient and walked me through everything. The only issue I had was getting some of the lower compartment latches to lock but I was forewarned that may be an issue so no dings on them for that. The process was easy, straightforward, and done with complete professionalism. I will be using their services again and hope to deal with Rudy again next time too. Side note, I have seen some nasty reviews about "the owner lady". I believe she helped us when we came to pick it up. She was super friendly and didn't seem to be too busy for us when we went in. Wow, after reading some of these negative comments I am just shocked. My husband and I have been renting from share my coach for quite a few years now. We rent a few times a year and started because we didn't want to buy something we didn't like. So we rent a different coach every time. Now we know exactly what kind of coach we want to buy. Now, here's where common sense kicks in people. They are private coaches that are rented out, they are not brand new, little things can and will go wrong as with anything. We actually have a favorite coach we like to rent now and one time one of the levelers wasn't working correctly. We called late at night to find out if there was a trick to it or if something was really wrong...They answered immediately, we figured out it was actually broken, no extra charges for us and the next time we rented that same coach problem was fixed. They take care of all their coaches. All have also been very well stocked. These are just a couple of reasons why we keep renting from share my coach. Also, after researching, share my coach has by far got the best prices. We are just getting to the point where we use a coach almost enough to make it feasible to buy our own and now we are considering buying and possibly renting it out through share my coach ourselves. We rented an Outlaw toy hauler that pulled two of our motorcycles , We drove from Los Angeles to Sturgis South Dakota , We anticipated what ifs.. , but so glad to say the RV ran perfect with no problems everything worked , the rv was modern and clean . We had a safe ride there and back. We expected hidden fees etc and none of that... it was easy to rent and easy to return . We had the best time on our vacation and thrilled that we weren't burdened with anything after returning home. Our triple AAA insurance covered the Rv and tow if any problems . I wish there was a negative rating system. I'd give them a negative 5. DO NOT RENT OUT YOUR OWN PERSONAL RV THROUGH SHARE MY COACH IN STANTON. I was stuck in a bad situation. Tried to sell my motorhome before moving out of state and couldn't. It was the only reason that I let them rent it. I wasn't able to manage and keep up with the rental. I live out of state. At first it rented well, then it stopped and I was being charged storage fees and so on. Not my complaint. I couldn't manage the rental. I live out of state. One time I flew in and went there to check on my RV and it was gone. They hadn't told me it was rented. Surprise, it popped up as a last minute rental. September I get a phone call from the owner, Joe. They totaled my RV. No details. They took 5 months to settle the claim. They were vague about the accident and what happened. I had to handle getting my own police report. An employee of Share my Coach had picked up my RV from the renter and wrecked it. They shared no responsibility in it. The driver was actually cited in the police report. Wouldn't pay....refused to pay, the 1500$ deductible that was taken from the settlement. When I tried to take care of it throughout the process, each individual responsible for taking care of my claim at Share my Coach mysteriously disappeared. I had to find that out by numerous unreturned phone calls . Then my claim was given to Tiger, the owners son, who was very rude and returned emails when he felt like it. Disappearing for days. The insurance company that they had used for my coach didn't cover the total loss and SMC acted surprised. SMC accidentally sent me other loss claims on accident when forwarding things to me regarding the accident. So I know that others are going through the same thing I am. The payout actually barely covered half of the total value of the coach. They said they had insured my RV for an amount and it wasn't the case. There were deductions for the fact that it was a rental. Nearly 6,000$ and and deduction for approx 5,000$ for high mileage caused from renting it. None of these costs were told me when they assured me that my RV was insured properly for the value. Also very strange as I wasn't seeing that it was rented and driven for the amount of miles that were stated as having been on the coach. I live out of state. Couldn't manage the rental. My fault. But still. Such dishonesties . Don't do what I did. Don't rent your RV with Share my Coach. Such a costly mistake read more
